pilgrams in the bible

For fourteen centuries, no one dared to ‘correct’ the peculiar Quranic spelling of Becca in verse 3:96, the city that had been known as Mecca for as long as its people during prophet Muhammad’s time could remember. (The advent of the Quran’s numerical str...ucture provides an important explanation, as the frequency of the letter M - Arabic script meem - is connected to it). Some have argued that Becca was the ancient name for Mecca (see for example historian Ibn Ishaq’s view, and editor Ibn Hisham’s note, in A. Guillaume’s translation The Life of Muhammad, Oxford University Press, 1967, pp. 47, 708). Now we learn that this peculiar Quranic spelling may also shed some light on an obscure Biblical passage. That Becca was indeed the ancient name for Mecca, the city of pilgrimage in which Abraham founded its shrine, bait al-Lah, the house of God - the Ka’ba. That this pilgrimage was known to the children of Israel of ancient times. “How lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young a place near your altar, O Lord Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they are ever praising You. Blessed are those whose strength is in You, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with blessings...” (Psalm 84:1-6) This psalm is also known as the psalm of the pilgrimage. It seems to reflect the children of Israel’s ancient longing for the House of God that their patriarch Abraham had built in Baca (Becca), and their ancient practice of making a pilgrimage there. In a sense, it confirms what historian Ibn Ishaq wrote in the 8th century AD about the ancient Jews who used to make a pilgrimage to their patriarch Abraham’s temple in Mecca, centuries before Ibn Ishaq’s time. They stopped the practice when the inhabitants of the city turned into “unclean polytheists.” Their setting up of idols around the Ka’ba, and the blood which they shed there, presented an insurmountable obstacle for them (Guillaume, op.cit., p.9). The Holy Scriptures of the Jewish Publication Society retained the name Baca, but used “the highways” instead of “pilgrimage” (although still in the context of the road to pilgrimage). The crucial passage is now read: ‘Happy is the man whose strength is in Thee; in whose hearts are the highways. Passing through the valley of Baca...’ The New American Bible’s 1977 edition of the Catholic church, on the other hand, kept the word “pilgrimage” but translated the proper name “Baca” using its secondary meaning “the mastic tree.” The passage read: ‘Happy the men whose strength you are! Their hearts are set upon the pilgrimage. When they pass through the valley of the mastic trees,....’ and its true meaning is irreparably lost. Indeed, in Arabic and Hebrew, the word becca/baca also means “the mastic or the balsam tree.” Another meaning of the word is “the overflowing tears.” These two meanings fit the description of Mecca as well. Mecca is a place where these evergreen trees are found in abundance (the Meccan balsam is a well known name in pharmacopeia). Furthermore, the commemoration of God’s Name - and God alone - during hajj, truly brings tears to many a pilgrim’s eyes. Despite the many versions of the Bible’s translation, a careful study by a sincere seeker will bring the true meaning of passages, verses or even a single word. God has also sent down His Final Testament - the Quran, to shed light on Biblical passages such as those quoted above. “We have revealed this scripture to you, to point out for them what they dispute and to provide guidance and mercy for people who believe .... What we revealed to you in this scripture is the truth, consummating all previous scriptures. God is fully Cognizant of His servants, Seer.” (Quran 16:64, 35:31)See More

Now that we are on the topic of religions, let us take into consideration the oldest known religion to the modern world. The pharaohnic religion of the Sun god of Egypt, the Horus.

Horus, the Sun god of Egypt of around 3000 B.C

• Born on December 25th

• Born of a virgin

• Performed miracles like walking on the water, healing the diseased

• Teacher at the age of 12

• Birth accompanied by the star in the east

• Adorned by 3 Kings

• Got hold of Ministry at the age of 30

• Had 12 disciples

• Was called as “the lamb of god”, “son of god”, Alpha and omega etc.

After being betrayed by typhon

• Was crucified

• Buried for three days

• Resurrected after that

Later Horus fought with his brother Set for the thrown of Egypt, which resulted in his one eye getting injured. Since then he was known as "the One eyed sun god".

Did you see the link? The above format is present in all the religions of today. All the true religions have been infiltrated in the same pattern, let me show you some more...

ATTIS - The Greek god 1200 B.C

• Born of a virgin

• Born on December 25th

• Crucified

• Buried for three days

• Resurrected

KRISHNA - The Indian god 900 B.C

• Resurrected

DIONYSUS - The Greek god - 500 B.C

JESUS p.b.u.h

• Born on December 25th

• Born of a virgin

• Teacher at the age of 12

• Birth accompanied by the star in the east

• Adorned by 3 Kings

• Got hold of Ministry at the age of 30

• Had 12 disciples

• Performed the same miracle as Horus, i.e. healing the diseased, walking on water etc.

• Was also called as Alpha and Omega

After being betrayed by Judas

• Was crucified

• Buried for 3 days

• Then resurrected

Did you now see the common denominator? Why is the infiltration in the same pattern being done in all the religions? There is no doubt that all of the above saviours must have passed the earth since God left no people without His message, but they were not exactly what they are propagated to be. What the Illuminatis have done over the ages, is that they have manipulated all the religions according to the concept that would help them push their agenda.

Did you notice something in all the above examples? All the religions are infiltrated by the same basic pattern. The pattern of Horus! The ONE EYED GOD! Did you see how they played you and those before you? So that even if you are firm in your religion, you wil not escape from their deception, they would indoctrinate you into accepting the antiChrist as the true saviour of humanity by putting all of his attributes in your religion so that when he comes to rule you, you dont have any objection as you will happily accept him as your lord, why? Because your religion is infiltrated by his attributes! You may mistake him to be Attis or Krishna or Dionysus or Jesus etc.

"Blessed are the merciful" [Matthew 5:7]

"Leave alive nothing that breathes. Show them no mercy." [Deut. 7:2]
"The Lord hardened their hearts... that they might receive no mercy." [Joshua 11:20]
"I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the Lord: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them. A curse on him who is lax in doing the Lord's work! A curse on him who keeps his sword from bloodshed." [Jer. 13:14; 48:10] YES SO MERCY I CAN SEE

"I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children." (Leviticus 26:22)

"Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourself every girl who has never slept with a man." (Numbers 31:17-18)

"The Lord commands: "... slay old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women" (Ezechial 9:4-6)

"When the Lord delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the males .... As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves." (Deuteronomy 20:13-14)

"You will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you." (Deuteronomy 28:53)

"The Lord said to Joshua [...] 'you are to hamstring their horses.' " (Exceedingly cruel.) (Joshua 11:6)

"... Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead with the edge of the sword and; also the women and little ones.... every male and every woman that has lain with a male you shall utterly destroy." (Judges 21:10-12)

"....The Tannaïtic Midrash Sifre to Numbers in §157 comments on the above quoted commandment of MOSES to kill the Midianite women as well as the male children...."

"....According to the Tannaïte Rabbis, MOSES therefore had ordered the Israelites to kill all women older than three years and a day, because they were "suitable for having sexual relations." [138]...."

"Said Rabbi Joseph, "Come and take note: A girl three years and one day old is betrothed by intercourse....."

Jesus Christ (pbuh), following both the Gospels and the Qur’an, was born of the virgin Mary, who was just like any other human being. It is common knowledge that whoever is born cannot be deified. Jesus Christ was a human being who used to eat and drink just like anybody else. He was susceptible to hunger, grief and/or merriment. He experienced all the paraphernalia pertaining to human life. His miraculous creation from no father is no stranger than that of Adam, a being who was both fatherless and motherless. This is an evidence of God’s omnipotence. Jesus Christ was no more than a servant to, and messenger of God, who revealed the scripture in order to promulgate it and carry out His call. On the day of judgement Jesus Christ is not to be judged because of those who deified him in exclusion of God or thought of him as parallel. In the Qur’an we have a mentioning of this, where in the hereafter God will ask Jesus if he had asked his followers to deify him, whereby Jesus will answer God by saying: “If you punish them, they are your slaves, and if you forgive them, verily, you, only you, are the all-Mighty, the all-Wise” (Holy Qur’an: 5: 118). Here is one more reply to the one who seeks an evidence as to the deification of Jesus Christ, while he has none of the qualities of God. Whatever miracles he performed emanated from God, just as He supported other prophets.
The Qur’an tells us a lot of wonderful things about Jesus.

As a result, believers in the Qur’an love Jesus, honour him, and believe in him. In fact, no Muslim can be a Muslim unless he or she believes in Jesus, on whom be peace.

The Qur’an says that Jesus was born of a virgin, that he spoke while he was still only a baby, that he healed the blind and the leper by God’s leave, and that he raised the dead by God’s leave.
ESV translation of the said verse:

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

As you can see for yourself, this verse is not teaching the Original Sin, it seems to be about the sinful act of adultery yielding a child; the Psalm is thought to be a projection upon the future child of an adulterous relationship.

However, the NIV translation does seem to teach a branch of the Original Sin (i.e. babies are with sin):

Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

So which translation is correct?

Firstly, if the NIV translation (the one teaching Original Sin) is correct then the Bible-believing Christians will have contradictions on their hands. The verses mentioned in the opening article on the topic of Original Sin (Ezekiel 8:4 and 20, 2 Kings 14:6) would be deemed as contradicting Psalm 51:5, thus further discrediting the Bible.

However, in my research of Psalm 51:5 I have found three more verses (from the OT) which seem to refute the idea of Original Sin. The first two go together(Jeremiah 3:25 and Genesis 8:21); they appear to indicate a human only becomes sinful from his/her youth, i.e. at the time of discernment between right and wrong (good and evil). In fact Jeremiah 3:25 indicates humans sin from their youth onwards, thus the idea of Original Sin upon babies seems to be in real question here.

This age of discernment between good and evil appears to be mentioned in Isaiah 7:15-16 as well.

The NIV translation seems to be in error and appears to be unfaithful as the NASB, ESV and KJV all disagree with the NIV translation. The three aforementioned translations all indicate the child was conceived in sin UNLIKE the NIV which suggests the child was sinful at the time of birth.

New American Standard Bible (NASB):

Behold, I was (A)brought forth in iniquity,And in sin my mother conceived me.

King James Version (KJV):

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me

English Standard Version (ESV):

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

So there is NO teaching of Original Sin in this verse! The verse is concerning the sin of adultery; it does not mean the child is born with sin. In fact the verse does not make mention of Adam's sin.

Lest not forget:
Hebrew (Moses's language): El, Ellah, Elloh, Ellohim, Ella-him.
Aramaic (Jesus's language): El, Ellah, Alla-ha.
Arabic (Muhammad's language): Allah.

prayer (22)

Almighty God doesn’t pray to anyone. Jesus [Peace Be Upon Him] did and said others to do the same.

Like every prophet ,Jesus [PBUH] prayed to Almighty God and said others to do the same

Matthew 26:39

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Luke 11:1-4

One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

He said to them, “When you pray, say:

“‘Father hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come.

3 Give us each day our daily bread.

4 Forgive us our sins,

for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.

And lead us not into temptation.

It is Mentioned in Matthew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

It is Mentioned in Mark 11:25

And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
