Simple Islamic teaching that most of the people these days forget to apply: Saying "Thank you" or "Jazak Allah Khair ". If someone helps you with something just say this simple sentence with a smile on your face wallahi it creates an atmosphere of peace and friendliness more than you can imagine.
“Whoever does not give thanks to the people does not give thanks to Allaah” (a saheeh hadeeth narrated by Imaam Ahmad, 2/258).
