Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Allah the Exalted says: I have nothing to give to My believing servant, if I cause his dear friend to die and he remains patient, other than Paradise.”

60Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “None of you has faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ

He said, “It would be better if you did not do that.” So they abandoned the practice and there was a decline in the yield. He passed by again and said, “What is wrong with your trees?” They said, “You said such-and-such.” So he said, “You have better knowledge of the affairs of your world.”
