Sayyiduna 'Abd Allah ibn Abbas (ra) narrates, "I was with the Prophet (salla Allah alaihi wa salam) and Ali (ra) was also present there and the Prophet said, 'O Ali, soon a nation will appear who will claim the love of Ahl al-Bayt and they will be known as Rawafid (Shia'), fight against them as they will be polytheists." (Narrated by Tabarani and Majma al-Zawaid, 1:22 with a sound chain)
Narrated also inMusnad Abu Yala, Bazzar, Tabarani, Majma al-Zawaid , Kazn al-Amal , and Sawaiq al-Muhriqah, from various Sahabah such as Fatimah bint Muhammad and Umm Salmah (may Allah be pleased with them).]
