al cohol is cursed in the bible

ALCAHOL CURSED IN THE BIBLE:

This is the result of alcahol ( wine, beer...) that christians enter their church and daily lives as the blood of Jesus...yes sure he bleeds when Christians associate it with him. Besides causing err of the bible in the hands of the drunken scribes

( Isiah 28: & 8 ) 7But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. 8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

( Proverb 31:5-7)
5” lest they drink and forget what the law decrees, and deprive all the oppressed of their rights. 6” Give beer to those who are perishing, wine to those who are in anguish; 7” let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more

(proverbs 4:17)
17 They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence

( Proverb 20:1)
Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.

( Numbers 6:3)
3”He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.

( Deuteronomy 29:6)
You ate no bread and drank no wine or other fermented drink. I did this so that you might know that I am the LORD your God.

(Judges 13:4)
Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:

( Isia 5:11, 22)
Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine.(22) Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks

( Isia 28:7) And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions.

Clearly proves that from Abraham to Jesus no one drank alcohol, or fermented wine

(Jeremiah 35:6-10)
6 But they replied, "We do not drink wine, because our forefather Jonadab son of Recab gave us this command: 'Neither you nor your descendants must ever drink wine. 7 Also you must never build houses, sow seed or plant vineyards; you must never have any of these things, but must always live in tents. Then you will live a long time in the land where you are nomads.' 8 We have obeyed everything our forefather Jonadab son of Recab commanded us. Neither we nor our wives nor our sons and daughters have ever drunk wine 9 or built houses to live in or had vineyards, fields or crops. 10 We have lived in tents and have fully obeyed everything our forefather Jonadab commanded us.

Spiritual power in Islam

"Wherever you are, death will find you out. Even if you are in towers built up strong and high." (al-Nisaa 4:78)

"O you who believe fear Allah as He should be feared and die not except in the state of Islam" (al-Imran 3:102)

We have to remember to repent everyday and if possible during and after every prayer.

Finally, the best way to remember death is to read the Quran. We have to read Quran everyday. This is major source of spiritual power in Islam.

Certainly Islam may bring peace to the Soul even in final movement of our life !

******* Death: The Ultimate Visitor *******

O beloved brothers & Sisters: Do you know who the ultimate visitor is?! Do you know what he wants from visiting and meeting with you?! What does he ask from you?!

He did not come in pursuit of your money, or to share your food and drink, or to make you help him pay off his debt, or to intercede to anyone, or that you may help in passing a transaction he was unable to do.

This Visitor has come to you for a limited defined mission and a specific issue. Neither you nor your family or your tribe, not even all the inhabitants of the earth can turn him away without accomplishing his mission.

However, if you are living in palaces, or have entrenched yourself in invincible fortresses or solid towers, if you are enjoying the protection of guards and chamberlains, you cannot prevent him from entering upon you, or meeting with you, and settling his account with you!!

To enter upon you, he does not need doors, permission or an appointment before coming. He will come to you at any time and on any condition; if you are working or at leisure, you are healthy or ill, rich or poor, traveling or staying.

This visitor, O beloved brother, does not have a tender heart to be affected by your words and weeping, or perhaps your screams and imploring. He is not in a position to give you time to review your calculations, and to look into your matters!!

He also does not accept a gift or a bribe, because the entire money of the world is worth nothing to him, and it does not turn him away from what he came to accomplish.

He wants you and nothing else. He wants all of you, not just a part of you. He wants to terminate and relinquish you. He wants your death, taking your soul, annihilating you and your body.

It is the Angel of Death!!

Allah Almighty has said: {Say: “The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls. Then you shall be brought to your Lord.”} [Surat As-Sajdah 32:11]

Transliteration:
Qul yatawaffakum malaku almawti allathee wukkila bikum thumma ilarabbikum turjaAAoona

He, the Almighty has also said: {until when death approaches one of you, Our Messengers (angel of death and his assistants) take his soul, and they never neglect their duty.} [Surat Al-An’âm 6:61]

Transliteration:

The train of life

Dear brother: do you not know that the visit of the Angel of Death is inevitable predestined fate? Whatever long or short your life is?

Do you not know that we are all traveler in this life and that the traveler has almost reached his final destination?

Do not you know that the life cycle is about to stop, and that the train of life has become near to its final station?!

Some righteous people heard the weeping over a dead person and said: O how strange of the traveling people crying over the passenger who has reached his house!!

I seek refuge, dear brother, that you would be one of those who {Then how (will it be) when the angels will take their souls at death, smiting their faces and their backs} [Surat Muhammad 47:27]

Transliteration: Fakayfa itha tawaffathumu almalaikatu yadriboona wujoohahum waadbarahum

or among {“Those whose lives the angels take while they are doing wrong to themselves (by disbelief and by associating partners in worship with Allâh and by committing all kinds of crimes and evil deeds).” Then, they will make (false) submission (saying): “We used not to do any evil.” (The angels will reply): “Yes! Truly, Allâh is All-Knower of what you used to do. (28) “So enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein, and indeed, what an evil abode will be for the arrogant.”} Surat An-Nahl 16:28-29]

Transliteration: Allatheena tatawaffahumu almalaikatu thalimee anfusihim faalqawoo alssalama ma kunna naAAmalu min sooin bala inna Allaha AAaleemun bima kuntum taAAmaloona (28) Faodkhuloo abwaba jahannama khalideena feeha falabisa mathwa almutakabbireena

Dear brother: do you not know that by the visit of the Angel of Death, your life has ended, your deeds have ceased and your book of deeds is folded?

Do you not know that after visiting you, you cannot gain even one reward?

So brother: where is your preparation for meeting the Angel of Death? Where is your preparation for what comes beyond the visit: horrors in the grave and upon the questioning, the gathering, the resurrection, the reckoning and the scaling; upon the flying written pages of deeds, passing by the Path and standing before the Hands of the Compeller, Glorified and Exalted?

Dear brother: hold yourself accountable when you are alone. Think about the speed with which your life vanishes. Work hard and well.

DEATH -- THERE IS NO ESCAPE -- BEST ISLAMIC LECTURE

KHALID YASSIN TALKING ABOUT THE DEATH AND LIFE

good death

**** A Good Death *****

{O you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allah.} [Surah Al-‘Imran 3:102]

Transliteration: Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ittaqoo Allaha haqqa tuqatihi wala tamootunna illa waantum muslimoona

In this address, the order to fear Allah and die as a Muslim is directed, not simply to non-Muslims and Muslims, but rather to the Believers. Thus showing the great importance Islam places, not only on a good life, but also a good death. As such even the believers are warned against complacency that could result in a bad ending.

Most people tend to avoid talking about death, despite it being one of the few certainties in one’s life. However there is not a single soul except that he or she would wish for a good death. So what is a good death? The Institute of Medicine defines it as follows, “A decent or good death is one that is: free from avoidable distress and suffering for patients, families, and caregivers; in general accord with patients' families' wishes; and reasonably consistent with clinical, cultural, and ethical standards.”[1]

Most people would like a pain-free death, having lived life to the full, fulfilling their dreams and to die doing what they loved most. As Muslims our wishes are generally the same, however the purpose of our life ultimately determines for us what is and isn’t a good death. Allah says in the Quran, {And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).} [Surah Ad-Dhariyat 51:56]

Transliteration: Wama khalaqtu aljinna waalinsa illaliyaAAbudooni

Therefore a soul created for the worship of Allah must also die in such a state for it to have achieved a good death. As such we marvel at the endings of those engaged in acts of worship at the point of death, such as those mentioned by Imam Adh-Dhahabi in his Siyar A’lam An-Nubala,

‘Abu Bakr ibn Al-Ismaeli died on a Thursday night during the Maghrib prayer while he was reciting from Surah Al-Fatiha “You alone we worship and from You alone we seek help.”’

‘Abu Hakeem ‘Abdullah ibn Ibrahim Al-Khabri was writing out the Quran, and then he laid down his pen, said “Indeed this is a delightful death!” and died.’

‘Mus’ab said, “‘Aamir(ibn Abdullah ibn Az-Zubair ) heard the call to prayer and said, “Take me by my hand.” So it was said to him, “You are ill.” To which he replied, “How can I hear the call to Allah and not respond?” So they took him by his hand and he entered with the Imam for the Maghrib prayer. He bowed with him and then died.’

‘Abu Bakr ibn Ziyad said, “I entered upon Ibrahim ibn Hani (An-Naysaburi) on his death bed and he said, “I am thirsty.” So his son brought some water and he asked his son, “Has the sun set?” It was said “No” so he turned it away and recited, “For the like of this let the strivers strive” and he died.’

These are just some of the beautiful examples of a good ending from our predecessors, besides what we know from the good endings from companions. Such as the one whom upon hearing that Paradise was as wide as the heavens and the earth flung himself into the midst of the battle to attain it.

Such sacrifices and exertions displayed by our role models and replicated throughout the ages by those seeking the pleasure of Allah stand as a stark reminder to us all as to our true purpose in life. As much as we strive to good by people, gain their pleasure and acceptance, and bring about benefits and avoid harms and hardships, we should never lose sight of the fact that our ultimate aim is to seek the pleasure of Allah.

As the above examples showed, these great men could have taken the concessions available to them, yet they chose to exert themselves to seek the greater reward with Allah. We ask Allah to give us steadfastness and a good ending, making us from the honourable ones, {It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed him): “Enter Paradise.” He said: "Would that my people knew! (26) “That my Lord (Allah) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!”} [Ya-Sin 36:26-27]
