Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I have been sent as mercy and guidance for the worlds, that I will annul the idols, the flutes, the instruments, and the affairs of ignorance.”

عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُعِثْتُ رَحْمَةً وَهُدًى لِلْعَالَمِينَ لِمَحْقِ الأَوْثَانِ وَالْمَعَازِفِ وَالْمَزَامِيرِ وَأَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ
