Punishment to rapist is OT Law & Islamic Law is following that OT Law. Even NT Law donot say anything about not to punish a rapist.
Why do you think that NT Law allows rapist to go free ?
If you are talking from Jesus forgiving a adulterous woman, it is only forgiveness to a adulterous woman. Where is rape or rapist coming there ? As we know adultery is entirely different from rape. There is no story that Jesus is sending a rapist free. So, rapist should be punished even as per NT Law. Thanks.//
