criticize

It's so easy to sit back and criticize others, whether it's your local masjid board, or your boss, or your community leadership, or even your own parents. We think to ourselves we would do a fantastic job if we were the leader and we sit back and make second-guesses on those people who have been made responsible. However, this is indeed a poor mindset to have. We can all second-guess, but having a role of responsibility and leadership is a very hard task indeed. So why not give your masjid board, or boss, or community leadership, or parents the benefit of the doubt and help them in their responsibility instead of criticizing them, patronizing them, and making yourself feel like your victim (and don't come up with an excuse that my situation is different and you don't know what my masjid board is like, give it up!). May Allah (SWT) bless our masjid boards, our leaders, and our parents, Ameen!
