According to the World Health Organization, some 56 Million deaths occur per year, at the current global average. That works out to about 153,884 per day, or a little more than 100 per minute!
► 153,884 deaths per Day.
► 4,680,652 deaths per month.
► 56,167,829 deaths per Year.
We hear it and see it. Yet we act like it won't happen to us.
Confronting the morality of the world around us (as well as our own morality) leads us to reflect more earnestly about our priorities, and provides us with a sense of urgency of purpose... The purpose that needs to be identified and explored, for which Humankind has been created for ?!
The fact remains that people are dying all around us, and quite large numbers are dying without recognizing and following their Own Creator and God Almighty. Due to which, sadly, eternally the suffering will be inflicted upon them !!
May these sobering thoughts spur us on to action! May they shock us out of our apathy and move our heart's affections to Freely, willingly and dedicatedly take us on to the exploration of the Truth, to the dying and hurting world !!
