"Why I Left Shiism"
– Sayyid Husain Al-Musawi (rahimahullah)

The Testimony Of The Author Before He Was Killed

Sayyid Husain Al-Musawi is not an unfamiliar name among the Shi’ahs. He was a great scholar of the Shi’ahs who was born in Karbala and studied in Hauzah until he got the title “mujtahid”. He also had a special position in the sight of Imam Ayatullah Khomeini.
After going through a long spiritual journey, he finally left Shi’ah, because he found so many deviations and errors in it.

This article was excerpted from his book, ‘Why I Left Shi’ah (transl.)’, his responsibility for Allah and history before he was eventually murdered:

" I was born in Karbala, growing up in an environment of Shi’ah people and was cared of by my father, who was a religious person. I studied in a number of schools in the city up until I reached early adolescence. And then my father sent me to Hauzah, sort of like an Islamic boarding school, in the city of Najaf. It was the main city of knowledge, the place of the famous scholars to study religious knowledge, such as Imam Sayyid Muhammad Ali Husain KasyifAl-Ghita. He was a notable figure in the ‘City of Knowledge’.

Since then, I started thinking seriously about the issue of knowledge. I studied the madzhab of Ahlul-Bait, but on the other hand I have found reproach and attacks against the Ahlul-Bait.
I learned about the issues of Shari’ah to worship Allah, but in it were nas (texts) which show kufr against Allah SWT.

“O Allah, what am I studying? Is it possible that all this is the true madzhab of Ahlul-Bait?”

Indeed, this led to the splitting of a person’s personality. Because, how does he worship Allah while on the other hand he is kufr against Allah? How does he follow the sunnah of Rasulullah while on the other hand he attacks him?

How can he be said following the Ahlul Bait, loving and studying their madzhab, while he insults and mocks him?

“Send down your mercy and love O Allah. If not because of Your mercy, I will surely be among those who go astray, in fact among those who lose.”

I again asked myself, “What is the attitude of the notable figures, the imams and those who are considered as ulama’s? What is their stance on this matter? Do they see what I see? Do they learn what I learn?”
I need someone to complain about all my confusion and pour out all my sadness to. I finally got the guidance and a good idea, i.e. to do a comprehensive study and reassess all the subject materials that I had received. I read everything I got from the references, be it the mu’tabar or otherwise.

I read every book that got into my hands. I pondered to review some of the paragraphs and those nas and I commented based on the ideas that were in my brain.
When I finished reading the references that are mu’tabar, I got some paper, and then kept them, hopefully one day Allah will determine a decision for me.

I beg Allah for help in explaining this truth. There would be a lot of accusation, fitnah and murder attempts that would be met if one exposes the deviations of Shi’ah, but I had already considered all those, and they did not prevent me from doing it.

The people of Shi’ah have killed the father of our leaders, namely Ayatullah Uzhma Imam Sayyid Abul HasanAl-Ashfani, a greatest imam of the Shi’ah after the disappearance of the imams until today.

There is no doubt that he was a great figure of Shi’ah , however, when he was about to straighten out the manhaj of Shi’ah and cleanse the superstitious that are present in it, they slaughtered him like how they slaughter a goat. Just as they also have assassinated Sayyid AhmadAl-Kasrawi when he declared himself free of the deviations of Shi’ah and wanted to straighten out the manhaj of Shi’ah, they chopped off the body of Sayyid Ahmad into several parts.

There are still many people who suffered the same fate due to their courage in opposing the bathil aqeedah incuded into the madzhab of Shi’ah. And they also want me to suffer the same fate. But it does not frighten me. Suffice it for me to deliver the truth, advise my brothers, give warnings to them and turn away from misguidance.

If I want the pleasure of the world, the mut’ah (contract marriage) and khumus (a fifth of the property given by the followers of Shi’ah) have been enough to achieve all those, as done by others other than myself who have become rich in each of their area. Some of them ride the most expensive cars of the latest model. But alhamdulillah, I turned away from those since I recognize the truth.

to be continued (In-Shaa-Allah) ....

BLACK HOLES

‏‎scientific miracles of islam‎‏ من قبل ‏‏‎Koki Noor‎‏‏.
BLACK HOLES

The 20th century saw a great many new discoveries regarding celestial phenomena in the universe. One of these entities, which has only recently been encountered, is the Black Hole. These are formed when a star which has consumed all its fuel collapses in on itself, eventually turning into a black hole with infinite density and zero volume and an immensely powerful magnetic field. We are unable to see black holes even with the most powerful telescope, because their gravitational pull is so strong that light is unable to escape from them. However, such a collapsed star can be perceived by means of the effect it has on the surrounding area. In Surat al-Waqi'a, Allah draws attention this matter in this way, by swearing upon the position of stars:

And I swear by the stars' positions-and that is a mighty oath if you only knew. (Qur'an, 56:75-76)

The term "black hole" was first employed in 1969 by the American physicist John Wheeler. Previously, we imagined that we were able to see all the stars. However, it later emerged that there were stars in space whose light we were unable to perceive. Because, the light of these collapsed stars disappears. Light cannot escape from a black hole because it is such a high concentration of mass in a small space. The enormous gravitation captures even the fastest particles, i.e. the photons. For example, the final stage of a typical star, three times the mass of the Sun, ends after its burning out and its implosion as a black hole of only 20 kilometres in diameter! Black holes are "black," i.e. veiled from direct observation. They nevertheless reveal themselves indirectly, by the tremendous suction which their gravitational force exerts on other heavenly bodies. As well as depictions of the Day of Judgement, the verse below may also be pointing to this scientific discovery about black holes:

When the stars are extinguished, (Qur'an, 77:8)

Moreover, stars of great mass also cause warps to be perceived in space. Black holes, however, do not just cause warps in space but also tear holes in it. That is why these collapsed stars are known as black holes. This fact may be referred to in the verse about stars, and this is another important item of information demonstrating that the Qur'an is the Word of Allah:

[I swear] by Heaven and the Tariq! And what will convey to you what the Tariq is? The Star Piercing [the darkness]! (Qur'an, 86:1-3)

Many of us mistake personal pleasures for inner peace; we achieve elements of pleasure from a variety of things, be it wealth, sexual relations or other than that. But these do not last, they come and go. Yes, we have personal pleasures from to time and we are pleased with various things from time to time, but this is not inner peace. True inner peace is a sense of stability and contentment which carries us through all the trials and difficulties of life. Dr Bilal

Antimony

Antimony

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: “The best of your Kohl is antimony; it makes the hair grow and makes the vision clear.” (Ibn Majah, Al-Tabarani, Al-Hakim; saheeh)
He said that the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, used to apply antimony to his eyes every night before going to sleep, and he would apply it to each eye three times. (Narrated by Ahmad; its isnad includes ‘Abbad Ibn Mansoor, whom they classed as weak)
It was also narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: “Apply antimony to your eyes, for it clears the vision and makes the hair grow.” (Narrated and classed as hasan by Al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah; it was classed as saheeh by Ibn Hibban; saheeh)
Ibn Hajar said, “Antimony is a well-known reddish black rock which is found in the Hejaz and the best of it comes from Isfahan. These Hadiths show that it is Mustahabb to apply antimony to the eyes for both men and women.” Al-Ra’ees Ibn Sina said of antimony, “It protects the health of the eye and takes away the dirt of ulcers.”
Al-‘Allamah Al-Baghdadi said, “Antimony makes the eyelashes grow, beautifies the eyes and makes them more attractive; it should not be used if there is severe inflammation of the eyes.”
Al-Kahhal Ibn Tarkhan said, “It is the best kind of Kohl for the eyes, especially for the elderly and those whose vision is weak, especially if a little musk is added to it.”
Antimony is a metalloid, the symbol for which is Sb. It is found in nature in a free form, but it usually exists in a sulfide, oxide or oxysulfide form. Its sulfide form is the main source of this mineral. It is a brittle metal which breaks easily; it is shiny with white silvery color when it is pure and a gray color when it appears in a compound. When it is broken between the fingers it emits a clear scent. (This information on antimony is quoted from the book of Rewington.)
Antimony exists in organic compounds such as antomalin, fuadin and glucantime, and other metallic compounds such as compounds of antimony and potassium, or antimony and sodium. It has many medicinal properties, acting as an expectorant and an emetic. Some skin creams are also manufactured from it.
It is also effective against a large group of germs, and it destroys a number of parasites such as bilharzia, trypanosoma, and nematodes. It is used in Britain to treat bilharzia.
Dr. Hassan Howaidi confirms that clearing the vision with antimony is effective against many groups of germs; thus it protects the eye and maintains its health, because infectious diseases of the eye are caused by germs, and when the conjunctiva is free from swelling then the vision will be good.
He says: “The fact that it makes the eyelashes grow is proved scientifically because one of the medicinal properties of antimony is its effect on the skin, as it stimulates the roots of the hair and is a factor in hair growth. Hence, compounds of it (compounds of antimony and potassium) are used to treat some cases of ringworm and baldness; it is applied in the form of a cream containing a ratio of 32 percent.”
This benefit of making the hair grow is also beneficial to the eye, because it helps the eyelashes to grow, which protect the eye and increase its beauty.
What a beautiful choice of the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him; at the time of the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, many types of Kohl were used for that purpose of beautification. As Dr. Mahmoud Nazim Al-Naseemi says, “The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, preferred antimony because it strengthens the roots of the eyelashes and protects the eyelashes, so that they grow longer; thus increasing their ability to protect the eye from the rays of the sun, and screening out dust and dirt. So the vision becomes clearer than when using Kohl that is free of antimony.”
Some people want to criticize the Prophet’s call to use Kohl containing antimony, because of some cases of toxicity affecting some pregnant women as a result of using adulterated Kohl containing toxic lead. This poisoning only occurred as a result of cheating and adulterating antimony with lead, not from the use of antimony in Kohl as recommended by the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him.
We call upon Muslim manufacturers of medicines and cosmetics who care about Islam to offer to their Ummah, Kohl of pure antimony, free from any toxic lead content, so that everyone who wants to revive a Sunnah of their Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, will be able to apply antimony to their eyes safely.
