Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

‘That man unto whom a child is born should give it a good name and ensure the beautiful and correct Islamic nurturing of the child.

When the child comes of age, he should get the child married. Should the father fail to do so and his offspring indulges in sin, then the weight and punishment of it will come to bear upon the father.’

19] : the only religion with allah is islam (submission)
ومن يبتغ غير الاسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين [آل عمران : 85] : He who chooses a religion other than islam, it will not be accepted from him, and the Everlasting Life he among the losers .

Superior Kind of Charity

Superior Kind of Charity

Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked: “O Allah’s Messenger! What kind of As-Sadaqah (charity) is the most superior in reward?” He (peace be upon him) replied: “The charity which you practice while you are healthy, niggardly and afraid of poverty and wish to become wealthy. Do not delay it to the time of approaching death and then say: ‘Give so much to such and such, and so much to such and such.’ And it has already belonged to such and such (his heirs).”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book of Zakat, Hadith: 1419]

‪the grave

ة‏ ‏‎The Deen Show‎‏ من قبل ‏‏‎Koki Noor‎‏‏.
The grave is such a scary place where all of us will end up visiting one day. Reflecting over this reality should wake us up from our deep sleep and help us to disconnect more from this Dunya and connect us more with the Hereafter along with motivating us to do more good deeds that we can take with us when we visit the grave.

The Messenger of God (Sallellahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said: "Three (things) follow a dead person to the grave:

1. Members of his family,

2. His property

3. And his deeds.

Two of them return;

And one remains with him.

The people and his wealth return;

HIS DEEDS REMAIN WITH HIM".

[AL-BUKHARI AND MUSLIM]

COMMENTARY:
This Hadith has a warning for the Muslims that they should adopt the way of piety and fear (of Allah), not of sin and impiety because those are actions which will go with him to the grave and which decide his fate in the life after death.
If he carries with him good deeds, he will have a comfortable sojourn in Barzakh (the intervening stage between death and Resurrection). On the contrary, if the record of his life is devoid of good deeds, all the wealth that he leaves behind, even if it is beyond calculation, will be of no avail to him because what he will be having with him will be the bad deeds which he performed during his life. These bad deeds will be a constant source of torture for him during his stay in Barzakh.

May Allah the Almighty Creator help us to be prepared for that scary day.
