How Wudu (Ablution) can prevent Swine flu and other infections
Swine flu is steadily becoming an alarming health threat in India. And this scaring disease has already spreads its wings in the states like Telangana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi and will continue to spread in many other states.
Swine flu is a respiratory virulent disease. It multiplies by breathing polluted air. If come in contact with virus laden droplets, the virus directly comes in contact with the inner linings of areas which are called mucosal surfaces.
As per doctor’s suggestion, this viral disease is completely curable and there is no need to become panicky about it. But, it is important that people should know its preventive measures and one way is to make ablution time after time.
Because of the advancement in medical science, many of the breakthroughs had already been revealed in the Qur’an and established in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) more than 1,400 years ago. Therefore, many non-Muslims are realizing that the teachings of Islam are the unequivocal truth.
As per reports in Muslim mirror, a study was conducted by a team of doctors in Alexandria University, washing the nostrils by introducing water in the nostril and then blowing it out, positively affects the inner coating of the nostrils. Thus, cleansing of nasal path not only carts of any potential infection but it also renders nostril layer more resistant against infections.
The Islamic way of ablution (Wudu) may be found more effective in this regard. When a person performs ablution (Wudu) five times a day, he gets protection from different bacterial, fungal and viral infections. In a way all the exposed parts have to be washed for bringing down probability of any infection.
It is advisable that people should regularly performed Wudu as it acts as a preventive which shield against swine flu.
