Muslims and non Muslims, important government agencies and religious interfaith leaders attended this 3 day Conference.
Moreover Sister @[406969622798830:274:Nahela Morales] our National Hispanic dawah Coordinator attended this event off the clock. Her passion and devotion on spreading the message of Islam took her to not waste any time. She saw and took opportunity to take about 25 Colombian Sisters to experience for the first time "Street Dawah" at a local famous flea market where they handed out WhyIslam brochures, Islam in Spanish CD's and answered many questions and misconceptions about Islam.
In conclusion the event witnessed a total of 5 shahadas. After seeing the importance and lack of dawah in Colombia mostly due to shortish of dawah material. Many of the Colombian Muslim Communities have committed themselves to participate in this year's Global Dawah Day which will take place the first Saturday of Ramadan in shaa Allah.
We ask Allah subhanAllah wa taa'la to keep our brothers and sisters firm on the deen and to guide the beautiful people of Colombia, ameen.
