Was Eshoa [Jesus] A Catholic?

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their priests to be their lords besides Allah/Elah/The One God(The Creator) [by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allah/Elah/The One God(The Creator)], and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in previous revelations] to worship none but The One God [(Elah (Aramaic)/Allah (Arabic)) none has the right to be worshipped but He)]. Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)."_[Qur’an 9:31]
“And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation: and some of them were on right guidance. But many of them became rebellious transgressors. Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Esa/Eshoa (Jesus) the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah/Elah[in Aramaic]/The one God (The Creator); but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors.”_[Qur’an 57:26-27]
