Budha has preached the importance of Modesty in women "Anguttara Nikàya"

Anguttara Nikàya
1. Ekakanipàta

I. Cittapariyadana Vagga
Matter and others
I heard thus,At one time the Blessed One was living in the monastery offered by Anathapindika in Jeta's grove in Savatthi.
The Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus and said:

1.Bhikkhus, I do not know of a form that captivates the mind of man as that of woman.
The form of a woman indeed captivates the mind of a man. This is the first.
So, one has to take care that your mind is not captivated by the form of woman. So Buddha tells, your women should not display their form to men, so did Islam. One may argue Buddha did not say this but to the sensible the message is clear.

2.Bhikkhus, I do not know of a sound that captivates the mind of man as that of woman.
The sound of a woman indeed captivates the mind of a man. This is the second.
So do not get captivated by their voice. Islam said the same.

3. Bhikkhus, I do not know of a smell that captivates the mind of man as that of woman.
The smell of a woman indeed captivates the mind of a man This is the third.
Do not be captivated by their perfumery which also comes as a warning in Islam. Women should not wear perfume to attract men outside.

4.Bhikkhus, I do not know of a taste that captivates the mind of man as that of woman.
The taste of a woman indeed captivates the mind of a man. This is the fourth.
I don't know what he really means by taste. It may mean kissing. If so Islam prohibits too outside marriage.

5. Bhikkhus, I do not know of a touch that captivates the mind of man as that of woman.
The touch of a woman indeed captivates the mind of a man. This is the fifth.
Touching a woman could captivate the mind of a man. So avoid touching an ousider woman, advices Buddha so does Islam.
Now the same things are repeated for men. This is the Hijab for men. Under Islam HIJAB means all these. In all these Buddha clearly shows the necessity for segregation for men and women for control of one's mind. I know some of the Buddhists are going to burst on these analogies. But the wise one will think and reflect on it. So please give me your true feelings about it. Show me where I am wrong. Yes Buddhists know more about Buddhism but I am doing only a comparative study to show how Buddhists have deviated from the original teachings if these versus are authentic of course. Also I am showing close Buddha was to Islam from the remnants of his teachings.

6.Bhikkhus, I do not know of a form that captivates the mind of woman as that of man.
The form of a man indeed captivates the mind of a woman. This is the sixth..

7.Bhikkhus, I do not know of a sound that captivates the mind of woman as that of man.
The sound of a man indeed captivates the mind of a woman. This is the seventh

8. Bhikkhus, I do not know of a smell that captivates the mind of woman as that of man.
The smell of a man indeed captivates the mind of a woman This is the eighth..

9.Bhikkhus, I do not know of a taste that captivates the mind of woman as that of man.
The taste of a man indeed captivates the mind of a woman. This is the ninth.

10. Bhikkhus, I do not know of a touch that captivates the mind of woman as that of man.
The touch of a man indeed captivates the mind of a woman. This is the tenth.

Now please read these amazing similarities in the Qur'an :

Qur'an 24:30: "Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do."

Qur'an 24:31 "And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze andguard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands their fathers their husbands' fathers their sons their husbands' sons their brothers or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons or their women or the slaves whom their right hands possess or male servants free of physical needs or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments (SOUND OF WOMAN).  And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah that ye may attain Bliss.

All these show there is a great similarity between the message of Buddha and our Prophet (pbuh). This is clearly shown in the Prophecy of the Maithriya whose characteristics are exactly matching the Greatest of all Prophets who was prophesied by every religious leaders in the past. Tripitaka too did the same.
So this is a great challenge to the Buddhists to study further and see if indeed our Prophet is that Maithriya. If that is so then you have  great news from him.

Please reflect on this positively. Do not respond with meaningless attacks. Know that truth stands clear from falsehood. Also remember I have absolutely no intention of abusing Buddha or Buddhism but I have simply shown what is in your Books. We know Buddhists have been attacking Hijab in a very uncivilized way while it is well inscribed in their scriptures. My intention is to wiped out this ignorance of the Buddhists.
