Jews and Christians are much closer to Original Islam than the others,This is one of the reasons why they're also called "People of the Book". But they're expected to follow the Original Islam, and to know that the One Faith of GOD Almighty is Islam.

Come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah.'
