« Oh brothers and sisters, please don't take your Salaat/prayer too light. »
It was narrated that Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
« بَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ وَبَيْنَ الشِّرْكِ وَالْكُفْرِ تَرْكُ الصَّلاَةِ »
Between a man and shirk [associating others with Allaah] and kufr [disbelief] there stands his giving up prayer.
