"Surely in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent pattern" (33:21)
This uswah or pattern is available to us in Hadith and in Hadith only. To say Hadith has got no role to play in Islam is robbing Muslims of that example which, through the centuries, has guided Muslims towards excellence. The life of the Prophet (saw) is Quranic verses incarnated as a human. In the words of Hazrat Aisha (RA), he (the prophet) was the living Quran. Do you still doubt the importance of Hadith?
