NON-MUSLIMS REFERRED AS ‘KAFIRS’

NON-MUSLIMS REFERRED AS ‘KAFIRS’

Ans:
Kafir’ means one who rejects.
‘Kafir’ is derived from the word ‘kufr’, which means to conceal or to reject. In Islamic terminology, ‘Kafir’ means one who conceals or rejects the truth of Islam and a person who rejects Islam is in English called a ‘non-Muslim’.

If non-Muslims are hurt - they should accept Islam.
If any non-Muslim considers the word ‘Kafir’ i.e. ‘non-Muslim’ as an abuse, he may choose to accept Islam and then we will stop referring to him as or call him a kafir i.e. a non-Muslim.

God is ONE & His Prophets message is ONE.

God is ONE & His Prophets message is ONE.
The concept of Oneness of God was stressed by Moses(p) in the Biblical passage Known as the “Shema,” or the Jewish creed of faith: “Hear, O Israel The Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4)
It was repeated word-for-word approximately 1500 years later by Jesus(p) when he said “...The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.” (Mark 12:29)
Muhammad(p) came along approximately 600 years later, bringing the same message again: “And your God is One God: there is no God but He” (The Qur'an, al- Bakarah(2):163)

Recently lies

Digital Mimbar

Recently lies have been spreading against the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al-Sheikh of Saudi Arabia, claiming that the shiekh issused a fatwa which allows a hungry man to eat his wife, or parts of her body, in the case of famine or if eating his wife would result in saving his own life. He never issued any fatwa, all of this news is false and a complete slander against the shiekh.
Always verify news, Allah says in the Qur'an:
“O you who believe! If a Faasiq (liar — evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done”
[al-Hujuraat 49:6]

Daily Hadith | Don’t Waste Food
Anas bin Malik said that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate food, he licked his three fingers. And he ﷺ said: “If the morsel of one of you falls down, he should wipe away anything injurious on it and eat it and not leave it for the devil. And he ordered us to clean the dish, for one of you does not leave it for the devil. And he ordered us to clean the dish, for one of you does not know in what part of his food the blessing lies.”
