LITTLE DEEDS BUT HUGE REWARDS

LITTLE DEEDS BUT HUGE REWARDS
Another very common practice among the Asian Muslims today is bowing the head and saying Salaam to the elders thinking it is an act of respect for them. The reasons why it is not a part of Islam nor an act that can bring reward is:
(1) It is an imitation of Hindus who bow their heads and touch the feet of their elders as a mark of respect. We are just half way through.
(2) If it really is a sign of respect for the elderly or the elite, then the companions radiallahu anhum would have been the first to bow their head and say salaam to the Messenger ﷺ. For who deserves more respect than the Messenger ﷺ ??
(3) We do not find a single report in the Hadith literature that says this act is a part of Islam or the Prophet ﷺ himself did it for his elders or the sahabah radiallahu anhum did it for their elders.
(4) On the contrary, we find a Hadith that says bowing of head and saying salaam was discouraged by the very Prophet ﷺ.
A man asked the Prophet ﷺ " O Messenger of Allah!!! When one of us meets his Muslim brother should he BOW his head to him??"
He ﷺ replied " NO".
The man asked "Should he embrace and kiss him?"
He ﷺ replied "NO"
The man then asked " Should he shake his hand?"
The Prophet ﷺ replied "YES."
(Recorded by Abu Dawud, tirmidhi and others. Verified to be authentic by Al-Albani in sahih hadith no 525).
Hence, develop the habit of verbally saying the salaam without raising the hands or bowing the head or any other physical gesture apart form the shaking of hands (maharrams only).

Allah promoted this abusive sexual behavior:

Allah promoted this abusive sexual behavior:

Allah promoted this abusive sexual behavior: "Your women are a tilth for you (to cultivate) so go to your tilth as ye will" [Q 2:223]

Koran (2:223) likens a woman to a field (tilth), to be used by a man as he wills. In this verse, Allah also gives divine sanction for anal sex.

The verse they refer to is as under;

"Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe." (Al-Quran 2:223)

Yes, woman is called the tilth for man, but it is not that a parallel is being drawn between her and tilth. Actually it is a simile, that it is man whose seed a woman carries in her womb. It is in this context that this simile is given for understanding. For those who really understand the Quran, this verse asks for better attitude towards women. you see, a farmer looks after his tilth, waters it, protects it against all climate conditions. In the same way man is supposed to take every care of woman, for he has been given more physical strength and has been made her protector and manager of her affairs.

And Allah knows best !

LUXURY IS EXTRAVAGANCE

LUXURY IS EXTRAVAGANCE
The gifts of Allah subhanahu wata'ala are to be utilized properly and not to be spent extravagantly and, 'to render to the kinsman his due and to the needy and the homeless and waste not your wealth extravagantly (in order to deprive kinsman his due share and the needy and the homeless), for the extravagant is brother of satans and Satan has proved to misuse the bounties of his Sustainer."
- Quran 17:26-27
How much to give out?
"They ask you as to how much they should spend. Say: 'The Surplus'" (Quran, 2:219).
"Take a portion of their wealth as Sadaqah or Relief-Aid...." (Quran 9:103)
"Take the Surplus..." (Quran 7:199)
WHAT IS SURPLUS? Once legitimate needs have been filled at a modest scale - no extravagance is permitted - the rest is surplus. One should not suffer from poverty, nor indulge in luxury.
Here it may be highlighted that the Quran praises those "who give other preference over their own selves even though they themselves are poor" (Quran 59:9).
