They died in a state of ihram and were prepared for burial in their ihram garbs. They were washed, no perfume was applied on them, and their heads were not covered. They will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment saying the talbiyah. (The funeral prayer was performed on them in the Sacred Masjid)
مات مُحرِماً، فكفنوه بإحرامه، وغسلوه ولم يطيّبوه، لم يغطوا رأسه، فإنه يُبعث يوم القيامة مُلبياً، (صُلّي عليهم بالحرم)
