Ninety-nine out of one hundred will die [in the fighting], and every man among them will say: 'Perhaps I may be the only one to remain alive'." — Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim.

عن أنس بن مالک قال قال رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم يأتي علی الناس زمان الصابر فيهم علی دينه کالقابض علی الجمر
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “A time will come on the people in which the one who is patient upon his religion will be like the one who holds live (burning) coal (in his hand).”
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا لوگوں پر ایسا زمانہ آئے گا کہ دین پر قائم رہنے والا ایسا ہو گا جیسا وہ شخص جس نے مٹھی میں آگ کا دھکتا ہوا انگارہ پکڑ رکھا ہو۔
