black magic

In Islam black magic is Kufr, it is Kufr in Islam and it has been labeled as one of the major sins in
Sahih Bukhari Vol. no. 4 (Book of Wasaya) Hadith no. 2766 where the beloved Prophet said that
“The 7 most destructive sins are and the first he said that joining gods with Allah i.e. Shirk

No. 3 is practicing black magic i.e. sorcery”
No. 2 is murder
No. 3 is practicing black magic i.e. sorcery”
So Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam), the Messenger of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), he has labeled black magic, practicing sorcery as one of the major sins in Islam. And Allah says in the Quran in

Story of the Heifer
{And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his people: "Verily, Allah commands you that you slaughter a cow." They said,"Do you make fun of us?" He said, "I take Allah's Refuge from being among AlJahilun (the ignorant or the foolish). " They said, "Call upon your Lord for us that He may make plain to us what it is!" He said, "He says: 'Verily, it is a cow neither too old nor too young, but (it is) between the two conditions', so do what you are commanded " They said, "Call upon your Lordfor us to make plain to us its color." He said, "He says: 'It is a yellow cow, bright in its color, pleasing the beholders.” They said, "Call upon your Lord for us to make plain to us what it is. Verily, to us all cows are alike. And surely, if Allah wills, we will be guided." He [Musa (Moses)] said, "He says: 'It is a cow neither trained to tilt the soil nor water the fields, sound, having no other color except bright yellow.' "They said, "Now you have brought the truth." So they slaughtered it though they were near to not doing it. And (remember) when you killed a man and fell into dispute among yourselves as to the crime. ButAllah brought forth that which you were hiding. So We said: "Strike him (the dead man) with a piece of it (the cow)." Thus Allah brings the dead to life and shows you His Aya: (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) so that you may understand}.(Al-Baqarah, 67-73)

Surat Mulk (The Dominion), chapter 67 of the Glorious Qur'an
In The Name of Allaah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful...
1. Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion, and He is Able to do all things.
2. Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;
3. Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?"
4. Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out.
5. And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire.
6. And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allah) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.
7. When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth.
8. It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?"
9. They will say: "Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allah never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'"
10. And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!"
11. Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire.
12. Verily! Those who fear their Lord unseen (i.e. they do not see Him, nor His Punishment in the Hereafter, etc.), theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).
13. And whether you keep your talk secret or disclose it, verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men).
14. Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All-Aware (of everything).
15. He it is, Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it, etc.), so walk in the path thereof and eat of His provision, and to Him will be the Resurrection.
16. Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not cause the earth to sink with you, then behold it shakes (as in an earthquake)?
17. Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning?
18. And indeed those before them belied (the Messengers of Allah), then how terrible was My denial (punishment)?
19. Do they not see the birds above them, spreading out their wings and folding them in? None upholds them except the Most Beneficent (Allah). Verily, He is the All-Seer of everything.
20. Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion.
21. Who is he that can provide for you if He should withhold His provision? Nay, but they continue to be in pride, and (they) flee (from the truth).
22. Is he who walks without seeing on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks on a Straight Way (i.e. Islamic Monotheism).
23. Say it is He Who has created you, and endowed you with hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and hearts. Little thanks you give.
24. Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)."
25. They say: "When will this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) come to pass? if you are telling the truth."
26. Say (O Muhammad ): "The knowledge (of its exact time) is with Allah only, and I am only a plain warner."
27. But when they will see it (the torment on the Day of Resurrection) approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be different (black, sad, and in grieve), and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise) which you were calling for!"
28. Say (O Muhammad ): "Tell me! If Allah destroys me, and those with me, or He bestows His Mercy on us, - who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment?"
29. Say: "He is the Most Beneficent (Allah), in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So you will come to know who is it that is in manifest error."
30. Say (O Muhammad ): "Tell me! If (all) your water were to be sunk away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?"

From Darkness To The Light of Islam
Hakim ibn Hizam said to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam , "You know that in the days before Islam I used to maintain family ties, free slaves, and give charity. Will I be rewarded for any of those deeds?" The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam replied, "You accepted Islam with all the good you did in the past."

THE EXPANSION OF THE UNIVERSE
Science & Faith
THE EXPANSION OF THE UNIVERSE
In the Qur'an, which was revealed 14 centuries ago at a time when the science of astronomy was still primitive, the expansion of the universe was described like this
And it is We who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it.
(The Qur'an, 5147)
(The Qur'an, 5147)
The word heaven, as stated in this verse, is used in various places in the Qur'an with the meaning of space and universe. Here again, the word is used with this meaning. In other words, in the Qur'an it is revealed that the universe expands. And this is the very conclusion that science has reached today.
Until the dawn of the 20th century, the only view prevailing in the world of science was that the universe has a constant nature and it has existed since infinite time. The research, observations, and calculations carried out by means of modern technology, however, have revealed that the universe in fact had a beginning, and that it constantly expands.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Russian physicist Alexander Friedmann and the Belgian cosmologist Georges Lemaitre theoretically calculated that the universe is in constant motion and that it is expanding.
This fact was proved also by observational data in 1929. While observing the sky with a telescope, Edwin Hubble, the American astronomer, discovered that the stars and galaxies were constantly moving away from each other. A universe where everything constantly moves away from everything else implied a constantly expanding universe. The observations carried out in the following years verified that the universe is constantly expanding. This fact was explained in the Qur'an when that was still unknown to anyone. This is because the Qur'an is the word of God, the Creator, and the Ruler of the entire universe.

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) was the most generous of the men; and he was the most generous during the month of Ramadan when Jibril visited him every night and recited the Qur'an to him. During this period, the generosity of Messenger of Allah (SAW) waxed faster than the rain bearing wind.

five matters before five
The Prophet(saw) said to a man while he was advising him:
"Take advantage of five matters before five other matters: your youth, before you become old; and your health, before you fall sick; and your richness, before you become poor; and your free time before you become busy; and your life, before your death."

**TRUE STORY ON HUMILITY**
When we first saw him, we thought he was the simple "mosque caretaker". He would walk around the Masjid in Damascus daily, pouring all the worshippers glasses of water until the sun would set. This is despite his old age and the greyness of his beard.
When he came towards me, I humbly declined to accept water from him. This was mostly due to my ignorance and young age, but he just stood there waiting for me as he uttered verses of the Qur'an. Out of shyness, I then signalled for him to pour me a cup as I smiled to my friend next to me.
I said to the man “May Allaah reward you, being the mosque caretaker is a virtuous job”.
The man walked off smiling as he continued to pour glasses of water to the mosque attendees.
My friend then looked at me giggling and said “That man that just poured you a glass of water is no mosque caretaker."
"He is a Hafith of the Qur'an, who has memorised the ten different dialects with a strong chain. He is also a renowned poet, calligraphy artist and French teacher."
"More importantly, he is great Islamic Legal Jurist and Scholar who has students from around the world who come from the farthest of lands to read under him. Have you not heard of Shaykh Shukri Al Luhfi?!”
I was immediately overcome by a strong feeling of embarrassment and just sat there completely ashamed for how I had judged the Shaykh previously. I wanted to return to the Shaykh, but he was busy continuing to pour people glasses of water until the sun had set.
I had always thought that such scholars and people of knowledge were meant to be elevated in high positions, no where to be seen amongst common people. But when I had seen this Shaykh, I realised what true knowledge and scholarship teaches. Truly the more knowledge you learn the more humble you should become.
May Allaah increase us all in humility and remove pride, ego and self-conceit from our hearts. Aameen #SHARE
