Let's try to observe fasting as much as we can in this holy month of Muharram.
The month of Muharram is the first month of the Islamic year, and it is one of the four sacred months of Allah. Allah states in the Noble Quran (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein”

Daily Hadith
وَلاَ فَتَحَ عَبْدٌ بَابَ مَسْأَلَةٍ إِلاَّ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ بَابَ فَقْرٍ
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “No slave (of Allah) opens up a door tobegging except that Allah opens a door for him to poverty.”
جو شخص مانگنا شروع کر دے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر فقر و تنگدستی کا دروازہ کھول دیتا ہے (یعنی وہ ہر قسم کے مال و دولت کے باوجود مانگتا پھرتا ہے)۔

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِي الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ فَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
قَالَ اللَّهُ

Abu Huraira (radiyallâhu 'anhu) reported:
The Prophet (sallallâhu 'alaihi wa sallam) said,
“Allah said:
“Allah said:
I have prepared for my righteous servants what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no heart has perceived.
Recite the verse if you wish:
No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort. (32:17)”
