വാക്കുകൾ സൂക്ഷിച്ച്
പ്രശസ്ത ഫ്രഞ്ച് കവിയും നോവലിസ്റ്റുമായ വിക്റ്റർ യൂഗോയുടെ അറിയപ്പെട്ട കൃതിയാണ് 'പാവങ്ങൾ'. പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ വിൽപനയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച വിവരങ്ങൾ അറിയാൻ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രസാധകർക്ക് ഒരു സന്ദേശമയച്ചു. അതിങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു: "?". പ്രസാധകരുടെ മറുപടി ഇങ്ങനെയും: "!". അഥവാ "കച്ചവടം എങ്ങനെ പോവുന്നു" എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ചോദ്യം. ഭൂപടത്തിലെ അതിർത്തികൾക്കപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് നിലവിളികൾ മുഴക്കുന്ന, വായക്കാരന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ പോറലേൽപ്പിക്കാൻ പോന്ന താങ്കളുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ "കച്ചവടം തകൃതിയായി നടക്കുന്നു" എന്ന് പ്രസാധകന്റെ ഉത്തരവും. ഈ സംഭാഷണത്തെ നമുക്ക് ഒറ്റവാക്കിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ നിർവചിക്കാം: "ഒതുക്കിപ്പറയൽ".!!
സംസാരം നീട്ടിപ്പരത്തുന്നവരാണ് നമ്മിലധികവും. അമിതമാവുമ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ ഭംഗി ചോരുന്നു. ഏതു കാര്യവും കൂടുതലാവുമ്പോൾ തെറ്റ് സംഭവിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യതയും കൂടുമല്ലോ... സംസാരം നിയന്ത്രിക്കാൻ വായിൽ സദാ ചെറിയ കല്ലോ മറ്റോ ഇട്ടു നടന്ന ഗുരുക്കന്മാരെപ്പറ്റി വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നമ്മുടെ സംസാരം കേൾക്കുന്നവർ 'ഇവനൊന്ന് നിർത്തിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ' എന്ന് മനസ്സിൽ വിചാരിക്കാറുണ്ടാവുമോ.? പുറത്തൊന്നും ഇറങ്ങാനാവാതെ വെറുതെ ഇരിക്കുകകല്ലേ... ഇത്തരം ചോദ്യങ്ങളുമായി നമുടെയുള്ളിലേക്ക് തന്നെ ഒരു യാത്ര പോവുന്നത് നന്നാവും.!
തിരുദൂതരോളം ഒതുക്കിപ്പറയുന്ന മറ്റൊരാളില്ലായിരുന്നു. അവിടുത്തെ സംസാരങ്ങൾക്ക് 'ജവാമിഉൽ കലിം' എന്നാണ് പറയുക. അഥവാ കുറഞ്ഞ വാക്കിൽ കൂടുതൽ ആശയങ്ങൾ പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്ന ശൈലി. ഔചിത്യം മനസിലാക്കി, സാഹചര്യവും സന്ദർഭവും കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് തെളിമയുള്ള സംസാരം. അറബികൾക്കിടയിൽ ഏറ്റവും നല്ല സംസാരമെന്നത് ഒരേസമയം സംക്ഷിപ്തവും ആശയഗഹനവുമായതാണ്. നീട്ടിപ്പരത്താൻ ആർക്കുമാവും, ഒതുക്കിപ്പറയാനാണ് പ്രയാസം.!
നമുക്കോ മറ്റൊരാൾക്കോ ഉപകരിക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തിന് മാത്രം സംസാരിക്കുക, കേൾവിക്കാരന് മനസ്സിലായെന്ന് ബോധ്യമായാൽ പിന്നെയും വിശദീകരിച്ച് മുഷിപ്പുണ്ടാക്കാതിരിക്കുക, നല്ലത് മാത്രം പറയുക അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നാവടക്കുക. ഇത്രയൊക്കെയെ വേണ്ടൂ... ഭൂമിയിൽ നമുക്ക് സ്വർഗം പണിയാം.!
ഈ കുറിപ്പെങ്കിലും ചുരുക്കാനായില്ലെങ്കിൽ പിന്നെ ഇതെഴുതുന്നതിൽ എന്തർത്ഥം...!!!
