Sermon : Achoura et l’injustice de Pharaon - Français - Soufiane Abou Ayoub: Ce sermon de notre frère Abou Ayyoub Soufiane (qu’Allah le préserve) relate la relation entre le jeûne de Achoura et l’évènement qui se déroula entre Moussa et Pharaon. Lorsque le Prophète émigra à Médine, il trouva les Juifs qui jeûnaient le jour d’Achoura. Il leur demanda : « Quel est-ce jour que vous jeûnez ? » Ils répondirent : « C’est un grand jour durant lequel Allah sauva Moussa (Moïse) et son peuple, et noya pharaon et son peuple. Moussa le jeûna alors pour remercier Allah, donc, nous le jeûnons également. ». Le Prophète dit : « Nous sommes plus dignes de nous réclamer de Moussa que vous.». Ainsi, il jeûna ce jour et ordonna de le jeûner.

What's the difference?

" In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works." (I Timothy 2:9- 10)

While the Bible only specifically
addresses the need for women to dress modestly, the same teaching would apply to men in principle. Both men and women should bring glory to God in their manner of dress.

" Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and be modest. That is purer for them. Lo! God is Aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their chests, and not to reveal their adornment."
[Holy Quran; Surah Al Nisa 24: 30]

في صحيح مسلمٍ عن سعد بن أبي وقاص -رضي الله عنه- قال: "كنا عند النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فقال: أيعجز أحدكم أن يكسب كل يوم ألف حسنة فسأله سائل من جلسائه كيف يكسب أحدنا ألف حسنة قال يسبح الله مائة تسبيحة فتكتب له ألف حسنة أو تحط عنه ألف خطيئة".

Increase your Love

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “By Him in whose hand is my soul, none of you will enter Paradise until you believe (have eeman), and none of you will believe until you love each other. Shall I not tell you of something which if you do, will create love among you? Increase the custom of greeting each other with ‘as-Salamu alaykum.’” [Sahih Muslim]

Let us increase our love for each other with this simple formula. Loving our brothers and sisters, will help us gain eeman/belief and belief is the key to Paradise. Additional recommended etiquettes of greeting are that, "The younger person should greet the older one, and the walking person should greet the sitting one, and the small number of persons should greet the large number of persons." [Sahih Bukhari]

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا وَلَٰكِنَّ النَّاسَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ

Truly! Allah wrongs not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves.

اللہ تعالیٰ تو لوگوں پر کچھ بھی ظلم نہیں کرتا بلکہ لوگ خود ہی اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے ہیں۔
