The Real Faith
Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.

Al-Shanqeeti (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
The scholarly opinions concerning the "good righteous deeds that last" all boil down to one thing: they are all actions which are pleasing to Allaah, whether we say that they are the five daily prayers, as was narrated from a group of the salaf, including Ibn 'Abbaas, Sa'eed ibn Jubayr, Abu Maysarah and 'Umar ibn Sharhabeel; or that it means [the phrases], "Subhaan-Allaah wa'l-hamdu Lillaah wa laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, wa Allaahu akbar, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billaah il'Ali il-'Azeem (Glory be to Allaah, praise be to Allaah, there is no god but Allaah, Allaah is most great and there is no power and no strength except in Allaah, the Exalted, the Almighty)". This is the view of the majority of scholars. Indication of that was narrated in marfoo' ahaadeeth narrated from Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri, Abu'l-Darda', Abu Hurayrah, al-Nu'maan ibn Basheer and 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with them).
This phrase, "the good righteous deeds that will last" is a general phrase which includes the five daily prayers and the five phrases mentioned above (Subhaan-Allaah, etc), as well as other deeds which are pleasing to Allaah, because they will abide and will not fade away or vanish like the adornments of the life of this world, and because they are also done in the manner that pleases Allaah…

واعلم أن الفتن تذهب بدين الرجل..فكن على الثوابت قابضا وعلى المبدأ راسخا..إياك أن تموج بك الفتن أو تلسعك نار الجمرة فتسأم القبض عليها

فالله لن يحاسبك لم لم تحلل الموقف الفلاني..وإنما سيحاسبك على عرض طعنته وأخ اغتبته ودين استبحته ..ولا يغرنك كثرة الهالكين المتساقطين..فالناس كالجراد إلى حتفهم يتسابقون ..

"Ô Serviteurs d'Allah ! Nous remercions Allah du fait qu'Il nous a permis de compléter le jeûne et la prière du mois de Ramadan. Nous demandons à Allah qui nous a facilité cela de l'accepter de nous, d'accepter de nous notre jeûne, nos prières et toutes nos œuvres.
Chers musulmans, nous attendions impatiemment le mois de Ramadan, disant : « Il ne reste plus qu'un, deux, trois mois [avant qu'il n'arrive]». Ce mois est venu et nous l'avons ensuite laissé derrière nous. Et c'est ainsi pour chaque chose du futur que l'homme attend, elle vient puis s'en va et il la laisse derrière lui jusqu'à que son existence arrive à son terme. Alors qu'en sera-t-il après la mort ?! L'homme doit prendre en considération la situation dans laquelle il sera à sa mort, non pas quand et où elle sera.
(…) La chose la plus importante est : sur quelle situation il sera à sa mort ? Nous demandons à Allah qu'Il fasse que nos morts soient sur une situation qu'Il agréerait de nous, et nous demandons que nos dernières paroles de cette douniâ soient Lâ ilâha illâ Allâh, par sincérité à Allâh, par amour et glorification pour Lui."

The more a person sincerely studies #ISLAM the more they will be convinced of it, will grow to love it, and will be firm in knowing that Islam is indeed fromthe Creator.
"Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah(God Almighty) , they would have found within it much contradiction." Quran 4:82
It is hard to imagine that there is a book that is actually from the Almighty, people get confused and give up on religion because they spent time wrestling with the many counterfeit man made religions out there that really don't make any sense and which are not based on proof,evidence or authenticity.
Another amazing fact is that if you look closely none of them actually state within them that they are actually from the Almighty as the Quran clearly states.
Islam is like no other and truly stands out from the rest and cannot be compared to the rest. Why don't you start with a very simple step, ask the Creator who created you to guide your heart to what He knows is the truth and for you to be able to follow it.
