The Blast of the Trumpet, the Judgement and the Recompense

وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَن فِي الاَْرْضِ إِلاَّ مَن شَاء اللَّهُ
__
__
And the Trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom Allah wills.
__
__
This will be the second trumpet-blast, which will cause people to die. By this trumpet-blast, everyone who is alive in the heavens and on earth will be caused to die, except for him whom Allah wills.
__
__
Then the souls of the remaining creatures will be taken, until the last one to die will be the Angel of Death, and there will be left only the Ever Living, Eternal One, Who was there in the beginning and will be at the end, forever.
__
__
He will say three times,
__
__
لِّمَنِ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْم
__
__ ("Whose is the kingdom this day"),
__
__
then He will answer Himself:
__
__
لِلَّهِ الْوَحِدِ الْقَهَّار
__
__ ("It is Allah's, the One, the Irresistible!") (40:16)
__
__ `I am the One existing Alone, I subjugated all things and I decreed that all things must come to an end.'
__
__
Then the first one to be brought back to life will be Israfil [The Angel who blows the trumpet], and Allah will command him to sound the Trumpet again. This will be the third trumpet-blast, the trumpet-blast of Resurrection

Umm Salama, the wife of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
If any servant (of Allah) who suffers a calamity says:
*إِنّا للهِ وَإِنَا إِلَـيْهِ راجِعـون ، اللهُـمِّ اْجُـرْني في مُصـيبَتي، وَاخْلُـفْ لي خَيْـراً مِنْـها.
Inna lillahi wa-inna ilayhi rajiAAoon, allahumma/- jurnee fee museebatee wakhluf lee khayran minha.
‘To Allah we belong and unto Him is our return.O Allah, recompense me for my affliction and replace it for me with something better.
' Allah will give him reward for affliction, and would give him something better than it in exchange.
She (Umm Salama) said: When Abu Salama died. I uttered (these very words) as I was commanded (to do) by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
So Allah gave me better in exchange than him. i. e. (I was taken as the wife of) the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
(Sahih Muslim, Book 11, Hadith 5)
