🌸Why Did Prophet Muhammad Come After Jesus?
🌸Why Did Prophet Muhammad Come After Jesus?
Short Answer: Mostly because the true message of Jesus was lost with time. Jesus and Muhammad taught the same basic idea: worship God alone, be a good person, be just and generous and helpful and stand on the side of the oppressed. But over time, his message was corrupted by people like Paul. It’s the Paulified version of Christianity people practice today that’s the issue here. Prophet Muhammad came to correct the ideas spread by people who weren’t actually following the true teachings of Jesus.
Jesus: For the People of Israel Only. Muhammad: All Mankind
While Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent specifically to the Israelites, Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent to all humanity.
According to the Gospels,
“But he [Jesus] answered and said, ‘I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’” (Matthew 15:24)
In contrast, the Quran declares the universal message of Islam.
The Quran says what means:
Say: “O people! surely I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, of Him Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; there is no god but He; He brings to life and causes to die; therefore believe in Allah and His Messenger, the illiterate Prophet who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him so that you may walk in the right way.” (Quran 7:158)
Did Jesus and Muhammad Teach the Same Thing?
Yes and no.
It is true that both Jesus and Muhammad, as well as all true prophets from Adam, Noah, etc. (peace be upon them all), carried essentially the same message.
That message is Islam—monotheism and submission to the will and guidance of God.
However, the details were not identical, but varied to cope with the time and nation addressed.
Also, while the original message of Jesus was distorted and deviated away from monotheism, the message of the final Prophet Muhammad was to stay valid and preserved to the end of time.
While Jesus’s emphasis was on moral salvation and reform of the individual, with only a few rulings on marriage and divorce, etc., the final message of Islam brought a detailed comprehensive code dealing with all aspects of human life.
This includes personal, family, social, economic, political, and international issues.
Jesus stressed purifying the soul; Muhammad was sent to build and maintain the model: individual, society, and nation.
The Original Message Of Jesus
Jesus, a human monotheistic prophet, repeatedly called people to worship God and warned those who ascribed partners to Him:
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and Him Only.’ (Matthew 4:10)
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.’” (Mark 12:29)
Jesus emphasized his own humanity:
[As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God.] (John 8:40)
[By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear.] (John 5:30)
Jesus never claimed to be God, or part of a God. He never mentioned Trinity, nor did he appoint a church to entrust itself with reshaping the faith and re-inventing the law.
The deviation started with Paul and some others—leaders, clergy, and philosophers—centuries after Jesus’s departure.
Christianity Today= Paulianity
Christianity as we know it today was re-formulated with its concepts of:
– Trinity, centered around the prophet Jesus who was thenceforth called God, begotten son of God
– The sacrosanct Church of Christ, talking and enacting laws in the name of God
– The story of crucifixion and resurrection from the dead
– Original sin and atonement
– The sacrosanct Church of Christ, talking and enacting laws in the name of God
– The story of crucifixion and resurrection from the dead
– Original sin and atonement
Read for example, according to Paul (NIV):
“At once he [Paul]began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.” (Acts 9:20)
“Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel…” (2 Timothy 2:8)
Pauline Christianity Originated in Pagan Beliefs
Most of these distortions were borrowed or coined from earlier pagan creeds.
Close similarities can be found between this Pauline Christianity and Mithraism, Buddhism, and ancient Egyptian polytheist creeds.
During the seventh century CE when Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent, there were only a few groups of followers of the original message and teachings of Jesus.
The Injeel revealed to Jesus no longer existed in any form, as was the case of the Tawrah of Moses before him.
They were replaced with the Old and New Testaments written by different human authors selected and sanctioned as holy by the Church ecumenical councils, several centuries after the departure of Jesus.
It was high time then to re-establish the eternal guidance of the Creator to all humanity, but this time in a final eternal form, through the Glorious Quran and the detailed teachings and living model of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Jesus prophesied the coming prophet whose universal message will stay forever:
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— ” (John 14:16)
Regarding Qadr (destiny):
QUESTION - Regarding Qadr (destiny):
As a Muslim we must believe in the Qadar of Allah. This is a requirement for Paradise, right?
There is a problem with this from my point of view and I don’t know how to deal with this. This has me depressed so much, I lost my job, I’m loosing sleep and I really don’t know what to do.

There is a problem with this from my point of view and I don’t know how to deal with this. This has me depressed so much, I lost my job, I’m loosing sleep and I really don’t know what to do.
Let me explain as best I can, inshallah. I saw many videos online about Allah’s Qadr or “Predestination”.
Everything is already Planned out by Allah. So we are only going through the motions, like robots.
What if someone is going for salat every day, five times a day? Allah wrote it for him, right?
Or if someone doesn’t do his salat. Is it really his fault? Should get blamed for it?
If someone doesn’t do their salat, that is already written by Allah. Right? So is it his fault?

Islam says if all of the jinn and mankind came together to help me, but Allah didn’t Will for it to happen, then they cannot help me. And if all the jinn and mankind came together to hurt me, they couldn’t, if Allah Willed for that.
One narration of our prophet, peace be upon him, tells us:
Someone will go through the whole life doing good deeds of people of Paradise. As he comes to the end of his life, he will be so close to the Paradise, only an arm’s length away from it. But then he does the bad deeds of the people of Hell-Fire and as a result he goes into the Hell-Fire.

And another person goes through the whole life doing bad deeds of the people of the Hell-Fire, but then just before he dies, he does the good deeds of the people of Paradise and as a result he enters it.
How is this? If a person worshipped Almighty Allah for 70 years, but one month before he dies, he stops worshipping Allah and prays to the moon or the sun and drinks alcohol and eats pork. He dies and goes to Hell-Fire?
Our sheikh tells us, “Any good is from Allah. Any mistakes are from us.”
If I make a mistake and my career is destroyed, people will say it’s my own fault. But if my career is successful you are supposed to say, “It’s all from Allah”.
Any good or any bad comes to us only because of Allah’s Qadr. When He orders anything it will happen. in Quran, Allah just says; “Qun!” Faya qun” (BE! And it is!).
So, our minds and hearts are already set-up to win or fail? Are we like pawns on a chessboard, or robots on assembly lines?
Please help me understand and be able to deal with my depression, anxiety and hopelessness.
If I wrote anything wrong, may Allah forgive me. Ameen.

Allahu 'Alim. Allah is the All-Knowing! Thank you for a well explained question. Actually, many people today have doubts about the "fate" or "qadar" of Allah. However, it is not that complicated to understand, inshallah.

First of all, let’s look to the Arabic language to be sure we are all talking about the same thing.
TAKDIR and IKHTIAR are often referred to as “The Problem of Human Destiny”.
Most Muslims view human destiny, good or bad, desirable or undesirable, as essentially determined by Allah. But in more popular terms both Qadir and Qadar are referred to by a single term Takdir (Divine Decree or Predestination).
Most Muslims view human destiny, good or bad, desirable or undesirable, as essentially determined by Allah. But in more popular terms both Qadir and Qadar are referred to by a single term Takdir (Divine Decree or Predestination).
Allah has everything already laid out and planned exactly like He "wills" for it to be.
He has "Will Power" - We don't.
He has "Will Power" - We don't.
We all have "choices" that we make everyday. Our intentions or choices are called “niyyah”.
Niyyah (Arabic: نِيَّةٌ, often transliterated as niyya [ˈnij. jah], "intention") Concept of, “the intention in one's heart to do any deed or action to please Almighty Allah (God).”
Our prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Verily actions are by intentions, and for every person is what he intended. So the one whose hijrah was to Allah and His Messenger, then his hijrah was to Allah and His Messenger. And the one whose hijrah was for the world to gain from it, or a woman to marry her, then his hijrah was to what he made hijrah for."
You are not responsible for anything other than what your intentions are. You try to do the best job, say the right thing or build something good. That is your choice, or niyyah.
He already Knows the choices we will make. He does Know exactly what we will do and what we won't do and what we'll try to do and what we will try not to do.
- Is it fair? Yes! Why? He already Knows what is going to happen, so is it fair?
- Is it fair? Yes! Why? He already Knows what is going to happen, so is it fair?
YES. He does Know . . but we DON'T.
Allah is not testing Himself. We are not testing Allah.
This is our test. So on the Day of Judgment we understand what we did and why we will be punished, or forgiven, by Allah. Simple as that.
Let this sink in and ask Allah to give you safety, security and peace in your heart.

DID PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) ASK US TO DRINK POISON INTENTIONALLY AND THEN TO EAT 7 AJWA DATE AS NON MUSLIMS THINK?
DID PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) ASK US TO DRINK POISON INTENTIONALLY AND THEN TO EAT 7 AJWA DATE AS NON MUSLIMS THINK?
GUIDANCE:HOW TO FOLLOW ISLAM ACCORDING TO QUR'AN AND HADITH, THIS IS FOR EVERYONE OF US, SPECIFICALLY THIS IS FOR NON MUSLIMS, THOSE WHO THINK THE QUR'AN CAN BE INTERPRETED ON HOW THEY WOULD WANT
It would be better for them to read the whole of Qur'an, as some verses of the Qur'an explain one another and hadith also some of them explain one another, rather than reading one verse and then trying to prove their point and also learn the Qur'an based on how prophet Muhammad (PBUH) explained before everyone else.
Often they take random statement, random numbers and random Muslims names and link it to Qur'an, hadith or seera...
We Muslims notice this kind of false information about Islam.
We Muslims rely on Islamic teaching before Arabic language as sometimes what it means in Islam, may have different meaning in Arabic language, e.g. "HAJJ" means "PURPOSE" INTENTION" BUT IN ISLAM IT MEANS "HAJJ PILGRIMAGE" VISTING THE THE KAABA/MAKKAH PERFORMING HAJJ, THE DEEDS OF HAJJ.
Sometimes if you translate Arabic into another language, the translation may not be accurate, in this case we may rely on Arabic language rather than translation.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD IS THE TEACHER OF ISLAM SINCE HE WAS SENT BY ALMIGHTY ALLAH 👇👇👇
16:44. With clear signs and Books (We sent the Messengers). And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad ) the reminder and the advice (the Qur'an), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought.
62:2. He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad ) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah(As-Sunnah hadith: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad ). And verily, they had been before in a clear error.
After him (prophet Muhammad PBUH) is how prophet's companions explained and understood about Islam, specifically the four leaders, as prophet told us to follow their path after him.

Chapter: Adherence To The Sunnah
Narrated Irbad ibn Sariyah:
AbdurRahman ibn Amr as-Sulami and Hujr ibn Hujr said: We came to Irbad ibn Sariyah who was among those about whom the following verse was revealed: "Nor (is there blame) on those who come to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst: "I can find no mounts for you."
We greeted him and said: We have come to see you to give healing and obtain benefit from you.
Al-Irbad said: One day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in prayer, then faced us and gave us a lengthy exhortation at which the eyes shed tears and the hearts were afraid.
A man said: Messenger of Allah! It seems as if it were a farewell exhortation, so what injunction do you give us?
He then said: I enjoin you to fear Allah, and to hear and obey even if it be an Abyssinian slave, for those of you who live after me will see great disagreement. You must then follow my sunnah and that of the rightly-guided caliphs. Hold to it and stick fast to it. Avoid novelties, for every novelty is an innovation, and every innovation is an error.

Then general agreement (consensus) as Muslims agree, specifically Muslims scholars

4:115. And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad ) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination.
According to all those evidence I have mentioned recent, it's enough proof for everyone of us, that there is no need of any explanation from non Muslims about Islam based on their opinion as ALLAH had clearly refuted them (non Muslims) to explain about Islam generally!
NOTE: some non Muslims may rely on a Muslim scholar and that scholar may try his best but he might not be on the right way, he can make mistakes as we all humans make mistakes, this does not indicate it would support non Muslims claim, as many other scholars might be against of his claim. The scholar that they trying to claim that would support their claim might tell us what others say, but he has no any proof of his claim.
ALLAH clearly directed us to go back to him and his prophet
👇👇👇
👇👇👇
4:59. O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad ), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.
Some non Muslims might claim ALLAH and his prophet are equal because ALLAH always say if you obey him (prophet Muhammad (PBUH) indeed you have obeyed ALLAH. But they are not equal, as prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is his his messenger
Here is the reason why ALLAH said; "if we obey prophet Muhammad (PBUH) indeed obey ALLAH

Qur'an 53:2. Your companion (Muhammad ) has neither gone astray nor has erred.
3. Nor does he speak of (his own) desire.
4. It is only an Inspiration that is inspired.
...........................................
Conclusion: There is no chance for anyone of us to explain about Islam as long we are against Allah's teaching and his prophet and then how his companions understood about Islam and also Muslims scholars if they agree on something (general agreement/ consensus)
..................
THE REASON MAKE THEM THINK OF THAT👇👇👇
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said; that the person who eats 7 ajwa dates in the morning, he will not be afflicted by poison and magic.
...........................................
Explanation
1st:They should read the hadith carefully prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never said drink poison intentionally and then eat 7 ajwa dates!
2nd, he (prophet Muhammad PBUH) never said; "only if you believe in me drink the poison and then eat 7 ajwa dates" as Jesus said to the real Christians, not the ones we have them these days!
👇👇👇
👇👇👇
Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Mark 16:18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."
Jesus is encouraging his followers by saying; "it is a sign and it is accompany only those who believe in me" he said; the deadly poison is medicine for his followers, it will not harm them and they put their hands on their sick people after drinking the deadly poison and then they get well.
He is encouraging his followers to drink deadly poison and heal it with their sick people, he told them that it's medicine and no one can do this only the real followers of him (Jesus) but till now we do not have the real followers of Jesus unless they drink the deadly poison and it will not harm them, they also heal the people after they drink it and then the sick people must get better so there are many conditions that make people to believe in Jesus name.
...........................................
3rd: Propeht Muhammad (PBUH) never said drinking poison is medicine, but he said: 7 ajwa dates it's medicine for the "poison" and "magic" he never said; if you believe in me then drink poison and then eat 7 "ajwa dates"
...........................................
4th He is telling us what treatment is good for poison and magic in case if someone gives us while we don't know, he suggested to treat ourselves 7 ajwa dates and other things.
E.g. if someone says, this medicine is good for pain, this does not indicate to harm yourself and then take the medicine for pain, and this is what our prophet was trying to let us know, he was advising us!
...........................................
5th: In Islam to put ourselves in danger is prohibited (Qur'an 2:195).
6th: The point of this hadith about "ajwa dates" is not about drink poison and he never said drink poison intentionally, the point of this hadith is about what can cure poison and magic and others hadith propeht also told us other things that can cure poison and magic.
7th: No Muslim drunk or drinks poison intentionally as Christians do, if the case is how non Muslims think, then prophet Muhammad (PBUH) could be the first person to do this, all his companions could do this, specifilcy the four leaders after him as he to told us to follow their path after him.

8th; In Islam to drink poison and kill ourselves is forbidden and it's one of the biggest sins in Islam and it causes us go to hell.
👇👇👇
👇👇👇
Qur'an 4:29 Do not kill yourselves.
4:30 30. And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allah.
31. If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to do, We shall remit from you your (small) sins, and admit you to a Noble Entrance (i.e. Paradise).
And do not kill yourselves.) by committing Allah's prohibitions, falling into sin and eating up each other's property unjustly,
(Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you.) in what He commanded you and prohibited you from.
Imam Ahmad recorded that `Amr bin Al-`As said that when the Prophet sent him for the battle of Dhat As-Salasil, "I had a wet dream during a very
cold night and feared that if I bathed, I would die. So I performed Tayammum (with pure earth) and led my company in the Dawn prayer. When I went back to the Messenger of Allah , I mentioned what had happened to me and he said,
cold night and feared that if I bathed, I would die. So I performed Tayammum (with pure earth) and led my company in the Dawn prayer. When I went back to the Messenger of Allah , I mentioned what had happened to me and he said,
(O `Amr! Have you led your people in prayer while you were in a state of sexual impurity) I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! I had a wet dream on a very cold night and feared that if I bathed I would perish, and I remembered Allah's statement
👇👇👇
👇👇👇
And do not kill yourselves. Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you). So I performed Tayammum and prayed.' The Messenger of Allah smiled and did not say anything.'' This is the narration reported by Abu Dawud. Ibn Marduwyah mentioned this honorable Ayah and then reported that Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said,
Whoever kills himself with an iron tool, then his tool will be in his hand and he will keep stabbing himself with it in the Fire of Jahannam, forever and ever. Whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand and he will keep taking it in the Fire of Jahannam forever and ever. Whoever kills himself by throwing himself from a mountain, will keep falling in the Fire of Jahannam forever and ever.) This Hadith was also collected in the Two Sahihs. Abu Qilabah said that Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak said that the Messenger of Allah said,
(Whoever kills himself with an instrument, will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection.) This Hadith was collected by the Group. This is why Allah said,
And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, ) meaning, whoever commits what Allah has forbidden for him transgression and injustice - while knowing that it is forbidden for him, yet he still dares to commit it,
(We shall cast him into the Fire,). This Ayah carries a stern warning and a truthful promise. Therefore, every sane person should beware of it, those who hear the speech with full comprehension.
...........................................
There is no chance people can compare the hadith of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) about "ajwa date" and what Jesus encouraged to his followers that only can drink deadly poison those who believe in him.
And also no one can claim that prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked us or encouraged us to drink poison intentionally as Jesus encouraged Christians to drink deadly poison and heal with it with their sick people by touching them with their hands after drinking it, he claimed drinking deadly poison will not harm and also it's medicine for sick people, whereas prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never said all that!
There is no where prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked us to drink poison intentionally!!!
The point of this hadith, is not about drinking poison but it's all about what can cure poison and magic and prophet also told us other things that can cure poison and magic.
...........................................
Conclusion:
Christians say to us (Muslims) drink poison, just because prophet said eating 7 ajwa date is one of the things that can cure witchcraft and poison! As many other verses and hadith prove about that.
We say to Christians, painkiller relief the pain, does this indicate pain, harm yourself on purpose and then take painkiller? As it relief the pain!
●Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never said drink poison it's medicine, if you believe in me, as Jesus said, it's a sign to show that you believe in him, it won't harm you, you place your hand on sick people and they become well (Mark 16:17-18)
●Accoridng to Bible, Jesus is encouraging people to drink poison, whereas prophet Muhammad said; if you kill yourself by drinking poison on purpose you go to hell for that (Sahih al-Bukhari 5778 reference : Book 76, Hadith 90USC-MSA web (English) reference : Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 670)
As we always say; some verses and some words of the Bible, have got nothing to do with God and his prophets including prophet Jesus
Let the truth set you free!
The truth has come (arrived) falsehood has vanished, indeed falsehood is a vanish thing.
