Its shortest chapter, Al-Kawthar, displays a remarkable frequency of linguistic devices and literary features, and it expresses maximal meaning within a unique structure. Informed by both Islamic and Western scholarship, this essay aims to showcase the Qur’ān’s miraculous literary and linguistic inimitability by analysing its smallest chapter. Todo lo que debemos hacer es volvernos hacia Él, lamentar lo que hemos hecho y tomar la firme decisión de no volver a hacerlo. Luego, regocíjarnos por la misericordia y la munificencia de Dios, porque el Islam borra cualquier pecado que haya venido antes, como el Profeta (que la paz y las bendiciones de Allah sean con él) dijo a ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (que Allah tenga misericordia de él): “Oh, ‘Amr, ¿Acaso no sabes que el Islam borra todo lo que hubiera antes de él?”. Narrado por Muslim, 12; Áhmad, 17861. Y el Profeta (que la paz y las bendiciones de Allah sean con él) dijo: “Quien se arrepiente de sus pecados es como quien no ha pecado en absoluto”. Narrado por at-Tirmidhi y clasificado como bueno por al-Albani.
Si una persona se arrepiente ante Dios, Dios acepta su arrepentimiento y lo perdona. Allah dijo (traducción del significado): “Él es Quien acepta el arrepentimiento de Sus siervos y perdona sus pecado” (ash-Shura 42:25).
“Ciertamente Yo soy Remisorio con quienes se arrepienten, creen, obran correctamente y perseveran en el sendero recto” (Ta Ha 20: 82).
Tenemos que pensar bien de nuestro Señor y tener la esperanza de que Él aceptará nuestro arrepentimiento porque Allah dijo (traducción del significado): “Yo soy como Mi servidor piensa que soy”. Un reporte qudsí narrado por Al-Bujari, 7066; Muslim, 2675. De acuerdo al Imam Áhmad, narrado con una cadena de transmisión auténtica: “Yo soy como Mi siervo piensa que soy; por lo tanto que piense lo que desee”.
