Jealousy

‏‎IOU's Islamic Counselling Service‎‏ من قبل ‏‏‎Koki Noor‎‏‏.
Jealousy is among the most destructive emotions or feeling since it causes people to wish evil for others. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) warned against envy by comparing it to fire that completely burns the wood. However, in today’s world we don’t have much control over it and almost everyone experiences this emotion at one point or another. However, we can try eliminating jealousy by understanding the reason that triggers this emotion. In order to achieve this we must first repent from jealousy and learn to by getting rid of feelings such as anger, hatred, discontentment and love for the world which opens the door for these destructive feelings to slide in our hearts. We can also turn towards Quran and supplicate to Allah (s.w.t) to purify our heart. Though at first, challenging these thoughts may initially make us anxious but in the long run it will strengthen us as individuals and make us all a better believer.

calamity befalls the believer

Islam Religion‎‏ من قبل ‏‎Koki Noor‎‏.
"When a calamity befalls the believer, he begins making du'a constantly, but he may not see any sign of response for some time. When he is close to despair, Allah (Subhan wa Ta'ala) looks into his heart to see if he is pleased and content with the Decree, and not hopeless or discouraged. If this is his situation, then the response comes quickly. This contentment and pleasure in Allah (Subhan wa Ta'ala)’s Decree is what reforms and fixes the emaan as well as destroys Shaytan. That moment when the believer is close to despair is when the real men are determined.

So, be aware of why the response is delayed! Understand that He is The Master, and that He is The Most Wise in planning, and Most Knowing of what will lead to the reformation of His slaves. Know that He wants to put you through trials to test what you hide in your heart, and that He wants to see your humility, and that He wants to reward you for your patience. Know that He wants to test you with a delay in response so that you can fight the whispers of Shaytan.

Thus when the trial begins, the supplications are lengthened, and the one in hardship shows his need and takes refuge in Allah (Subhan wa Ta'ala)—he will be content with everything."

no moral

Islam Religion‎‏ من قبل ‏‎Koki Noor‎‏.
In the modern society or so called advanced and civilized society which has no moral values, man has dropped the idea of sin from their lives. They have attributed a new name to sin "the necessity of life". Like wise, clubs, drinking and taking drugs(narcotics), mingling with the opposite and same gender and common law marriages are not sins anymore, but these are the products of the modern world.

Islam is a Deen( a Way of Life and also a religion). That is why it gives us lessons to maintain Haya and sharam all the time and everywhere, whether we are among the people or alone.

In Islamic terms, Haya implies the shyness a wrong-doer feels in his own nature and before Allah( SWT). This shyness is the force which prevents man from indulging in indecency and obscenity. If, however, he commits a sin under the impulse of his animal nature, the same shyness makes him feel the pains of conscience. The moral teachings of Islam aim at awakening this dormant feeling of shyness in human nature and try to develop it as a part of man's mental make-up, so that it may serve as a strong moral deterrent against all evil inclinations.

The hadith, which says," Every religion has a morality and the morality of islam is Haya". In another place Prophet(saw) said, "Haya is the vital part of Islam". The Quran mentions it as the highest quality of a Muslim.

Another hadith on the same subject, the holy Prophet (SAW) said, "When you do not have Haya, you may do whatever you please". When a person does not have the deterrent of Haya, his desire will spring from his animal instinct and lay complete hold of him and he will not hesitate to indulge in sin.

The feeling of Haya is inherent in man, though in crude form. It abhors all sins by nature, but it lacks knowledge. This lack of knowledge gradually weakens its feeling of abhorrence and repeated commission of sin at last destroys his sense of modesty altogether. Quran refers to the people who get themselves deprived of this instinct(HAYA) as

"Deaf, Dumb and Blind, they will not return (to the right path)".(2:18)

The concept of Haya is vast and it is not possible to cover the details. However, following illustrations may help us to understand the sources of corruptions in our lives.

1. Hidden Motive: Every evil inclination towards a member of the opposite gender outside marriage amounts to adultery. Thus enjoying the beauty of the other woman with the eyes, relishing the sweetness of her voice with the ears, drawing pleasure of the tongue by conversing with her, all are not just the preliminaries of adultery, but the adultery themselves.

2. The Evil Look: The evil look is the worst culprit in this regard.
The Quran says " O Prophet(SAW) tell the believing men to refrain their eyes (from looking at the other women) and guard their shameful parts; to lower their gaze". In other place, the Holy prophet(SAW) has ordered his wife to observe purdah even from a blind man, Ibn Umme Maktoom.

3. Urge for Display: the feminine urge for the display if beauty is another evil which is linked up with the evil look. This urge is not always prominent; it is generally hidden in the depths of the heart. It often finds expression in the selection of pleasing and bright
clothes, fancy hair-dos, and many other seemingly insignificant female acts. "All beautification and make-up which is meant to please and entertain other than the husband is sheer ignorance. This tendency, springs from the woman's own heart. She herself can only search her heart to detect any hidden evil desire. If it is there, it has to be eradicated according to the following Divine Commandment, " and remain in your houses, and so not of about displaying your fineries as woman used to do in the days of ignorance..." (33:33)

4. The Voice: The voice is another agent of the evil spirit. A man and a woman may apparently be absorbed in innocent talk, but the hidden motive of the heart is at work. The Quran detects this hidden motive and ordains "if you are God-fearing, do not talk in a soft voice, lest the man of the unhealthy heart should cherish false hopes from you". lyrical poetry, love songs and imaginary love romance are written which take people's fancy and spread in the society like a wild fire. The Quran warns man "those people who desire to spread indecency and obscenity among the believers have a grievous torment in store for them in this world and in the hereafter".(24:19)

"Both man and woman have been forbidden to describe their own gender affairs before other people, because this also causes indecency to spread by creating evil desire in the hearts."( Abu Daud)

5. The Sound: Women should not stamp the ground in walking, so as to reveal their decoration (by their jingle).(24:31)

6. The Perfume: The perfume also acts as a messenger between two evil spirits. This is the finest and most subtle means of communication which may be trivial in the eyes of others but the Islamic Haya is too sensitive to let it slip undetected. "the woman who uses perfume and passes through the people is promiscuous.( Mixed, indiscriminate)"
(AlTirmidhi)

7. Nudity: Islam hates nudity. The men and women of the most civilized nations in the world today do not feel any hesitations to uncover any parts of their bodies. For all these people, the dress is a means of decoration and not for covering . In Islam, nudity is an indecency which can never be tolerated by the Islamic Haya. The Holy

Brother and Sister: If you lose Haya, you will lose Iman. Protect your Haya by refraining from indecencies. Shaitaan gains control over you through indecencies. Give up the company of indecent people because they are the agents of Shaitaan. Please remember, SIGN OF HAYA MEANS SIGN OF IMAN.

May Allah(SWT) protect us from the traps of Shaitaan. Ameen.

Three questions arise in charity:

 ‏‎Islam Religion‎‏ من قبل ‏‎Koki Noor‎‏.
Three questions arise in charity:

(1) What shall we give?

Give anything that is good, useful, helpful, valuable. It may be property or money; it may be a helping hand; it may be advice; it may be a kind word; "whatever ye do that is good" is charity.

(2) To Whom should we give ?

Whatever you spend of good must be for parents and kindred and orphans and Al-Masakin and the wayfarer,'') meaning, spend it on these categories or areas.

2:215. They ask thee what they should spend (In charity). Say: Whatever ye spend that is good235, is for parents and kindred and orphans and those in want and for wayfarers. And whatever ye do that is good, - (Allah) knoweth it well.

(3)How should it be given?

As in the sight of Allah; this shuts out all pretence, show, and insincerity
(...and whatever you do of good deeds, truly, Allah knows it well.) meaning, whatever you perform of good works, Allah knows them and He will reward you for them in the best manner, no one will be dealt with unjustly, even the weight of an atom.

Why Islam ? Why you have to Choose Islam over Christianity or Any Other Religion in the world ?

‏ ‏‎Final Testament‎‏ من قبل ‏‏‎Koki Noor‎‏‏.
Why Islam ? Why you have to Choose Islam over Christianity or Any Other Religion in the world ?

What happens when a person accepts Islam?

God Himself and clearly mentioned in the final scripture which He revealed to man. In the final revelation, called the Qur'an in Arabic, Allah states the following:

"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and I have chosen for you Islam as you religion." (Qur'an 5:3)

"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to God), never will it be accepted of him." (Qur'an 3:85)

Hence, Islam does not claim to be a new religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (p) into Arabia in the seventh century, but rather to be a re-expression in its final form of the true religion of Almighty God, Allah, as it was originally revealed to Adam (p) and subsequent prophets.

When a person accepts Islam all their previous sins, no matter how major, are forgiven by Allah. As quoted by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), "Islam wipes out whatever sins came before it". In other words, a person's slate is wiped clean.

Allah says in the Qur'an:

Say: "O 'Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith (Islamic Monotheism) to your Lord and submit to Him (in Islam) before the torment comes upon you, (and) then you will not be helped.

And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from your Lord (i.e. this Qur'an, do what it orders you to do and keep away from what it forbids), before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!"

Lest a person should say: "Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allah (i.e. I have not done what Allah has ordered me to do), and I was indeed among those who mocked [at the truth! i.e. Laa ilaaha illAllah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), the Qur'an, and Muhammad and at the faithful believers]

Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allah had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqoon (the pious)."

Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world), then I should indeed be among the Muhsinoon (good-doers)."

Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers.'

(Qur'an 39:53-59)

At this point we might comment briefly on two other religions that claim to be the true path. Nowhere in the Bible will you find God revealing to Prophet Moses' (p) people or their descendants that their religion is called Judaism, or to the followers of Christ (p) that their religion is called Christianity. In other words, the names "Judaism" and "Christianity" had no divine origin or approval. It was not until long after his departure that the name "Christianity" was given to Jesus' (p) religion.

What, then, was Jesus' (p) religion in actual fact, as distinct from its name? His religion was reflected in his teachings, which he urged his followers to accept as guiding principles in their relationship with God. In Islam, Jesus (p) is a prophet sent by Allah and his Arabic name is Eesa. Like the prophets before him, he called upon the people to surrender their will to the will of God (which is what Islam stands for). For example, in the New Testament, it is stated that Jesus (p) taught his followers to pray to God as follows:

"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." (Luke 11:2; Matt. 6:9-10)

This concept was emphasized by Jesus (p) in a number of his statements recorded in the Gospels. He taught, for example, that only those who submitted would inherit Paradise.

Jesus (p) also pointed out that he himself submitted to the will of God.

"None of those who call me 'Lord' will enter the kingdom of God, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven." (Matt. 7:21)

"I cannot do anything of myself. I judge as I hear and my judgment is honest because I am not seeking my own will but the will of Him Who sent me." (John 5:30)

There are many reports in the Gospels which show that Jesus (p) made it clear to his followers that he was not the one true God. For example, when speaking about the final Hour, he said:

"No one knows about the Day or Hour, not even the angels in heaven, not the son, but only the Father." (Mark 13:32)

Thus, Jesus (p) like the prophets before him and the one who came after him, taught the religion of Islam: submission to the will of the One true God

********* Very Important to consider the facts mentioned below before you meet the Angel of Death ************

Those who die while believing that “There is no true god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God” and are Muslim will be rewarded on that day and will be admitted to Paradise forever, as God has said:

And those who believe and do good deeds, they are dwellers of Paradise, they dwell therein forever. (Quran, 2:82)

But those who die while not believing that “There is no true god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God” or are not Muslim will lose Paradise forever and will be sent to Hellfire, as God has said:

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter. (Quran, 3:85)

And as He has said:

Those who have disbelieved and died in disbelief, the earth full of gold would not be accepted from any of them if it were offered as a ransom. They will have a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. (Quran, 3:91)

One may ask, ‘I think Islam is a good religion, but if I were to convert to Islam, my family, friends, and other people would persecute me and make fun of me. So if I do not convert to Islam, will I enter Paradise and be saved from Hellfire?’

The answer is what God has said in the preceding verse, “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter.”

After having sent the Prophet Muhammad to call people to Islam, God does not accept adherence to any religion other than Islam. God is our Creator and Sustainer. He created for us whatever is in the earth. All the blessings and good things we have are from Him. So after all this, when someone rejects belief in God, His Prophet Muhammad , or His religion of Islam, it is just that he or she be punished in the Hereafter. Actually, the main purpose of our creation is to worship God alone and to obey Him, as God has said in the Holy Quran (51:56).

This life we live today is a very short life. The unbelievers on the Day of Judgment will think that the life they lived on earth was only a day or part of a day, as God has said:

He (God) will say, “How many years did you stay on the earth?” They will say: “We stayed a day or part of a day....” (Quran, 23:112-113)

And He has said:

Did you then think that We had created you in jest (without any purpose), and that you would not be returned to Us (in the Hereafter)? So, God is exalted, the True King. None has the right to be worshipped but Him... (Quran, 23:115-116)

The life in the Hereafter is a very real life. It is not only spiritual, but physical as well. We will live there with our souls and bodies.

In comparing this world with the Hereafter, the Prophet Muhammad said: {The value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like what your finger brings from the sea when you put it in and then take it out.}1 The meaning is that, the value of this world compared to that of the Hereafter is like a few drops of water compared to the sea.

Finally Jesus Said:

Jesus says:
"None of those who call me 'Lord' will enter the kingdom of God, but only the one who does the will of my Father (Almighty God) in heaven." (Matt. 7:21)
