Scientific miracle in the sunnah :
The whole body decays except the coccyx ,
In a number of Prophetic Hadeeths, the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, mentioned that the tailbone is a small bone at the base of the spinal column. It is a remnant of the primary strand from which the human body is created in the embryonic stage, and it remains after his death and even after his body decomposes. It is this coccyx from which man will be brought back to life on the Day of Resurrection.
The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, asserted that Allaah The Almighty will send rain from the sky and then the dead bodies will grow from these coccyges like vegetation grows.
According to another narration of Muslim: “There is a bone in the
human being which the earth would never consume and it is from this that new bodies would be reconstituted (on the Day of Resurrection). They said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, which bone is that?’ Thereupon, he said: ‘It is the tailbone.’”
In a third narration of Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allaah be pleased with him, the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said:
“‘Between the two times of blowing of the trumpet there would be
(an interval of) forty. They said, ‘O Abu Hurayrah, do you mean
forty days?’ He said, ‘I refuse to answer .’ They said, ‘Do you
mean forty months?’ He said, ‘I refuse to answer.’ They said, ‘Do
you mean forty years?’ He said, ‘I refuse to answer. Then Allaah
would cause water to descend from the sky and they (people) will
sprout like vegetables. The earth would consume every part of the
son of Aadam (after his death) except for one bone; the coccyx
(the bone at the base of the vertebral column) from which he is
created and from which his body will be reconstituted on the Day
of Resurrection .’”
The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, foretold a scientific fact that was only discovered a few years ago. Specialists in embryology have proven that the human body is created from a very delicate strand called "the primary strand.” This is created, with the will of Allaah The Almighty on the 15th day of the fertilization of the ovum and its implantation in the wall of the uterus. When this strand is found, all the organs of the embryo start to be formed, especially the nervous system,
the initial parts of the vertebral column and the rest of the body parts because Allaah has given this strand the ability to stimulate the cells to start to divide, differentiate from each other and acquire their own specific characteristics. It also helps them accumulate together in their specialized tissues and full organs, which complement each other in their cooperation to perform all bodily functions.
It has been proven that this preliminary strand decomposes (after man's death) except for a small part (the origin of the coccyx), which remains at the end of the vertebral column (or in the vertebra known as the coccyx) and this is what is meant by "‘Ajbu Ath-Thanab" in the Hadeeths of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. When man dies, the whole body decomposes except for this part, from which – as mentioned in the Hadeeth – man will be recreated exactly as a plant germinates from a seed. This process will take place, when, at the time of Resurrection,
special rain will fall from the sky, by the will of Allaah The Almighty.
A group of Chinese scientists proved in some of their laboratory
experiments that it is impossible for this part, the end part of the coccyx, to be destroyed completely. They tried to dissolve it chemically in the strongest acids, through burning, crushing, and by subjecting it to various types of radiation. This definitely proves that the Hadeeth of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is true and precedes all scientific experiments by 1400 years at least.

حين أحاط به فرعون جنوده وضاقت عليه الأرض بما رحبت نادي : ( وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ آتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُ زِينَةً وَأَمْوَالًا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِكَ رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ ( 88 ) قَالَ قَدْ أُجِيبَتْ دَعْوَتُكُمَا فَاسْتَقِيمَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعَانِّ سَبِيلَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ( 89 ) ) سورة يونس

وكان هذا الدعاء عند اشتداد المحنة وعلو الطغيان، وكان بين الدعاء وإهلاك فرعون أربعون سنة.

Patience:
Moses Peace be upon Him:
When Pharaoh surrounded Him by his soldiers and the earth seemed constrained to him, he said: " 010.088 Moses prayed: "Our Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on Pharaoh and his chiefs splendour and wealth in the life of the present, and so, Our Lord, they mislead (men) from Thy Path. Deface our Lord, the features of their wealth, and send hardness to their hearts, so they will not believe until they see the grievous penalty."

010.089 God said: "Accepted is your prayer (O Moses and Aaron)! So stand ye straight, and follow not the path of those who know not."

This prayer was at the peak of injustice, 40 years passed after this prayer and Pharaoh was destroyed.

And they had rain that day.

 


خرج الناس يستسقون بدمشق وفيهم بلال بن سعد فقال: "يامعشر من حضر ..ألستم مقرين بالإساءة؟" قلنا: "نعم." قال: "اللهم إنك قلت: (ماعلي المحسنين من سبيل) وقد أقررنا بالإساءة ، فاعف عنا واسقنا." قال: "فسقينا يومئذ."

People of Damascus went to pray Itesqa' (A special prayer asking Allah for rain) whilst Belal Ben Sa'd was among them, He said:" O People! Are not you admitting your guilts?" They said:" Yes." He said: "O Allah, you said: (No ground (of complaint) can there be against such as do right.) And we had admitted guilt, Forgive us and let rain come."
And they had rain that day.

قل لي بربك..Tell me, by your God..

 

قل لي بربك..
إذا وقعت الواقعة..و نودي فيك بالرحيل ..و ما نفعك من مالك كثير أو قليل..
و نادى المغسل بسرعة تسخين المياه، و الكل في شغل عنك و ملهاة.. الطبيب يقلب
كفيه، و العائد يغمز بعينيه!!و الورثة ينتظرون إعلان الوفاة..
حتى إذا انقطع نفسك، و خفت صوتك
أينفعك حينئذ حلال أصبته، أو حرام غصبته،
أو ولد حضنته، أو زرع غرسته، أو زوجة أحببتها، أو دنيا جمعتها؟!كلا..كلا..
كلا والله لا يفيدك إلا خير أمضيته، أو رحم وصلته، أو خصم أرضيته، أو ركعة في ظلام الليل ركعتها، أو دمعة من خشية الله ذرفتها، أو صدقة ابتغاء وجه ربك بذلتها.

Tell me, by your God..
When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, you were called to leave, and your money did not help, many was it or few.
The undertaker ordered for the hot water, and everybody is busy from you doing something.
The doctor is desperately useless, guests are gossiping, and the heirs are waiting for the death announcement.
Then when your breath stop, and your voice fades..
Which will be useful to you, a good you did, or a sin you committed?
Will it be useful to you, a son you hugged? A seed you planted? A wife you loved? Or a life you collected? No, no.
Nothing will be useful to you, except for a good you made, a blood relation you connected, two enemies who you reconciled, a prayer you made under the dark of the night, a tear you shed fearing Allah, or a charity you paid for His sake.

اعزم على أن لا ترجع إلى الذنب و لا تعود، و كن رجلا في ذلك فإذا وعدت فأوف، و إذا نويت فاصدق، و إذا عزمت فتوكل على الله.

Decide not to return back to guilt, and do not. Be a man, be faithful to your covenant, Make your decision true, When thou hast Taken a decision put thy trust in God. (003-159)

مر مالك بن دينار، يوما في السوق، فرأى بائع تين، فتاقت نفسه إلى التين، و لم يكن يملك ثمنه، فطلب إلى البائع أن يؤخره فرفض، فعرض مالك على البائع أن يرهن عنده حذاءه مقابل هذا التين فرفض ثانية، فانصرف مالك و اقبل الناس على البائع و اخبروه عن هوية المشتري، فبعث بغلامه إلى مالك بعربة التين كلها و قال لغلامه : إن قبلها منك فأنت حر لوجه الله.
وذهب الغلام إلى مالك واضعا في باله أن يبذل قصارى جهده لينال حريته، فإذا بمالك يقول له: اذهب إلى سيدك و قل له : إن مالك بن دينار لا يأكل التين بالدين، و إن مالك بن دينار حرم على نفسه أكل التين إلى يوم الدين.
قال الغلام: يا سيدي خذها، فإن فيها عتقي.
قال مالك: إن فيها عتقك فإن فيها رقي.
رأى مالك أن شهوته أذلته و أن بطنه أهانته، فأدب نفسه و حرم عليها أكل التين زجرا لها و تهذيبا.
فكيف لا يعزم هذه العزمة من استزله شيطانه و أخضعته شهوته فسقط في بئر الخطيئة؟! كيف هان عليه أن يرى نفسه ذليلة مهينة دون أن يمد لها يد المساعدة و ينتشلها من مستنقع الهوان؟!

Once, Malek Ben Dinar was passing by the market, and saw figs seller. He desired figs but didn't have its price, so he asked the seller to have it and pay later, but the seller refused, so Malek offered the seller to leave his shoes as a guarantee, and the seller refused again. Malek left, and people rushed to the seller telling him that it was Malek ben Dinar, so the seller sent all the wagon with his slave boy to Malek, and told the boy: "If he accepted it from you, you're free for Allah's sake." The boy went to Malek thinking how to convince him for his freedom, But Malek told him: "Tell your master that Malek Ben Dinar don't eat figs for religion. And that Malek Ben Dinar had forbidden himself from figs till the last day." The boy said to him: " My master, take it, it is my freedom!" Malek replied: "If it's your freedom, it is my slavery!"
Malek found that his desire humiliated him, and that his stomach insulted him, so he corrected himself and prohibited figs as a discipline.
Why would not the one whose devil humiliated him, whose desire subjected him, threw him inside the desire well, why would not he take such decision, How come he sees himself insulted without giving it the hand of help, picking it up from the swamp of disgrace?!

وعى سلمة بن دينار الدرس فلما مر بالجزارين قالوا له: هذا لحم سمين فاشتر قال: ليس عندي ثمنه، قالوا : نؤخرك، قال : أنا أؤخر نفسي.

Salamah Ben Dinar learned the lesson, when he passed by the butchers they said to him: "This is fleshy meat, Buy!" He replied: "I do not have its price." They said: "Pay later!" He replied: "I eat later!"

ووعاه أيضا إبراهيم بن ادهم حين شكى إليه الناس و قالوا: إن اللحم غلا، فقال: أرخصوه ( أي لا تشتروه).

Ibrahim Ben Adham learned it too, when people complained to him and said: "Meat got expensive." He said: "Make it cheap." He meant (Don't buy it!)

كان الفضيل بن عياض يقول للمجاهدين وهو يودعهم للقتال في سبيل الله:
عليكم بالتوبة، فإنها ترد ما لا ترده السيوف.

Al-Fudail Ben Ayad used to say to warriors when leaving to fight for the sake of Allah: "Make repentance, it prevents what your swords can not prevent."
