الدرر السنية - أحاديث منتشرة لا تصح

Before I define shirk I would like to quote a verse for you from the Glorious Qur'an.

Before I define shirk I would like to quote a verse for you from the Glorious Qur'an.
"Say, O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah. But if they turn away, then say, Bear witness that we are Muslims (submitting to Him)." [Surah Ali-Imraan 3:64]
Allah is the same God that the Jews and Christians identify as God the Father in the Bible.
Then Qur'an says Allah
"We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?" [Surah Fussilat 41:53]
[1 Corinthians 14:33]
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
What is the definition of shirk❓
Lanes Lexicon an Arabic-English dictionary compiled by Edward Willam Lane in the mid 19th century. It is till this day, a standard work on Arabic as a dictionary. The word shirk, linguistically, means to share, to be a partner, to be co-equal. Trinity is linguistically shirk. One being of God which is three shared co-equals is shirk.
The term shirk actually originates within the Qur'an. The Qur'an explains the concept of shirk to be when you ascribe partners with God Almighty Allah who is identified by the Jews and Christians in the Bible as God the Father. So if you ascribe partners with God the Father that is shirk.
Shirk is not polytheism. Polytheism means number of Gods. Poly (number) theism (Gods). Shirk doesn't mean polytheism. Shirk has a different meaning. You can be a monotheist and be a mushrik at the same time, someone who commits shirk. For example, Qur'an gives us the definition
"Or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented?" [Surah Ash-Shura 42:21]
If you legislate other than Him or concoct a legislation on top of His legislation then you become a mushrik even if you believe in one God. Shirk is ascribing partners in any form to God Almighty, in His attributes, in His qualities, in His capacity, not only in worship.
I will prove to you that God the Father is the only true God.
The Qur'an says
"And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age (while) with you, say not to them (so much as), uff, and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word." [Surah Al-Israa 17:23]
Then Qur'an says
"Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful." [Surah An-Nisaa 4:36]
Again Qur'an says
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin." [Surah An-Nisaa 4:48]
Same message is repeated
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray." [Surah An-Nisaa 4:116]
So Allah will not forgive the shirk. Shirk is a crime which will not be forgiven until you repent and until you repent before you die. So if you die in the state of shirk you're going straight to Hell according to the Islamic understanding of the Qur'an.
Prophet Muhammad said certain statements in the authentic Hadiths (prophetic tradition) which is what explains the Qur'an best. We have over 60,000 Hadiths. Prophet Muhammad stated in the Book of Miscellany, Chapter 51 Hope in Allah's Mercy
'Ubadah bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whosever testifies that there is no one worthy of worship God, He is One, there are no partners to Him, and Muhammad is His slave and messenger, and Jesus is the slave of God and His messenger, and His Word which He bestowed upon Mary, and He is a Spirit from Him, and Paradise is truth, and Hell is truth, such a person will enter Paradise no matter what his actions are like." [Bukhari, Muslim]
Another narration in Muslim is: the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whosoever testifies that there is no true god except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, Allah (SWT) saves him from the Fire (of Hell)". [Riyad as-Salihin, Hadith 412]
Now the definition of trinity. First definition of trinity which is a very interesting definition by Thomas Jefferson. I'm sure Christians know who Thomas Jefferson. He is the writer the Declaration of Independence. He stated about trinity
"An unintelligible proposition of etonic mysticism that three are one and one is three and yet one is not three and three are not one. I never had sense enough to comprehend the trinity."
Let's look at Dr. James White's definition of trinity is. He states in his article
"The doctrine of the trinity is simply that there is one eternal being of God, indivisible, infinite, this one being of is shared by three co-equals, co-eternal persons, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit."
Let's go to the Qur'an which is originator of the concept shirk. Qur'an is the first book to use the word shirk the way it is used. So Qur'an is the first authority we refer to whether trinity is shirk or not. First of all Qur'an has a very interesting formula
"O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul (created at a command) from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, Three; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs." [Surah An-Nisaa 4:171]
So Qur'an tells you do not say three. Allah said:
(72) "They have certainly disbelieved who say, Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary while the Messiah has said, O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.
(73) They have certainly disbelieved who say, Allah is the third of three. And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.
(74) So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." [Surah Al-Maaida 5:74]
Christians say Jesus is Yahweh or Jesus identifies himself as Yahweh when he says "before Abraham I am" and that is the term and expression which Yahweh used for Himself. So if Yahweh, who we see as God the Father in the Old Testament, if He is saying that He is Jesus or Jesus is saying that he is Yahweh, that is what Qur'an is talking about. If you study the Qur'an carefully you will come to know this is a clear verse passage which is stating that belief in trinity necessitates shirk. Jesus says "O children of Israel, the Jews, worship one Lord, my Lord and your Lord, whoever ascribes partners with Allah paradise will be forbidden for them and their abode will be Hell Fire."
Who God Almighty❓ the Qur'an says Surah an-Nisa 4:171 "do not say three". Three what❓ the question is do the Christians not say three❓ yes they say three❗ how do they say three 🤔 they say three persons in triunity. Qur'an is making a general statement which is applicable to all the Trinitarians. Qur'an is clearly stating the Christians say three and don't say three whether you say three persons or three gods or three deities or beings or co-equals in one being etc. Qur'an is telling you don't say it because God is only One God. He doesn't share His divinity, His attributes, His qualities with anyone.
So that is a definition of trinity in Qur'an which is accurate. You cannot say it is inaccurate. If you study the Qur'an with care you will never make such a claim. Qur'an is definitely saying trinity is shirk. If anybody is saying anything otherwise simply doesn't know what the Qur'an is saying.
Bible says the whole universe cannot contain God.
[1 Kings 8:27]
But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
[2 Chronicles 6:18]
"But will God really dwell on earth with humans? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
[2 Chronicles 2:6]
But who is able to build a temple for him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain him? Who then am I to build a temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before him?
Now pay attention to the Old Testament
[Exodus 8:10]
"Tomorrow," Pharaoh said. Moses replied, "It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the LORD our God.
👉🏽There is none like unto the Lord our God.👈🏽
[Deuteronomy 4:35]
To you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD Himself is God; there is none other other besides Him.
👉🏽There is no else besides Him.👈🏽
[Deuteronomy 4:39]
Know therefore this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
👉🏽There is none else.👈🏽
[Deuteronomy 6:4]
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD
👉🏽The famous shema. All the Christians know this.👈🏽
[2 Samuel 7:22]
Therefore You are great, O Lord GOD. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Pay attention to these words carefully. There is none like You. The question is who is this You❓ the Israelite Prophets will tell you who this You is.
[1 Kings 8:23]
and he said: “LORD God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts.
The Lord God of Israel 🇮🇱 who is this Lord God of Israel❓
[Psalm 86:8]
Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works
[Psalm 89:6]
For who in the heavens can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD?
Amazing❗ who is in the heavens that can be compared unto the Lord❓
[Psalms 113:5]
Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on high,
There is no one like Him❗ the Old Testament, again and again is saying there is no one like Him. So who is this❓ the Christians identify this God as one God consisting of three persons, Father, son and holy spirit. Does the Old Testament identify any of these persons❓ yes❗ the Old Testament tells us clearly who is this God who is like no one else. I've quoted the verses. There is no one like Him. No one shares His divinity.
Prophet Malachi tells us who is this God.
[Malachi 2:10]
Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another By profaning the covenant of the fathers?
God the Father, One God who created us. Father is the Creator in the Old Testament. Brothers and sisters, this is very very clear. An Israelite Prophet is telling you that God the Father is the Creator, the One God, who is the only God, there is none like Him, there is none besides Him, there is no one in the sky or on the earth like Him. Amazing❗ Glory be to this God.
[1 chronicles 29:10]
Therefore David blessed the LORD before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, LORD God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever. [John 4:21-24]
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father
[22] You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews
[23] But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him
[24] God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Brothers and sisters this is your Bible I am quoting and this is addressing the Christians in particular. God is not Jesus because he's talking about another person being God. If Jesus is God then he should be telling that Samaritan "I'm God worship me". But Jesus is not saying that. If Jesus is God then he is doing a very bad job in telling people that he is God. If Jesus is God then he is confusing people deliberately. Rather Jesus is saying God the Father is God and salvation is of the Jews. Mark these words 👉🏽salvation is of the Jews👈🏽. So what concept of God did the Jews have❓ The Jews worshipped the Father alone. In John 8:54 acknowledged that divinity and told the Jews this is the Father whom you say is God.
Thank you very much for reading and may God bless you. Ameen 🤲🏼
Pay attention brothers and sisters. So Prophet David is identifying the Father as the God of Israel 🇮🇱 there is no one like Him.
So if you remember all them verses I've quoted Exodus 8:10, Deuteronomy 4:35, Deuteronomy 4:39, Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Samuel 7:22, 1 Kings 8:23, Psalm 86:8, Psalm 89:6, Psalm 113:5, I've added the word Father in these verses so you realise who this God is. There is none like Him.
[Isaiah 63:16]
Doubtless You are our Father, Though Abraham was ignorant of us, And Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O LORD, are our Father; Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.
Father again in the Bookof Isaiah. In the Old Testament Father, is the only God who is worshipped. Father, Yahweh, Elohim is the only God. Where are the other two persons❓ where is the trinity❓ because there is none like Him. No one shares divinity with Him. So where did these other two persons come from❓ that is the question.
Now let's examine the New Testament to see who the true God is. Jesus was a Jew. He was born to a Jewish mother and He came to fulfil the Jewish law.
[Matthew 5:17]
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them
Jesus mentions the Law and the Prophets. The word Prophets is there in your Bible. Who are the Prophets❓ it's Isaiah, David, Malachi, Ezra the writer of 1 chronicles etc. all of whom are saying Father is the only God of Israel 🇮🇱 and there is none like Him.
[John 8:54]
Jesus answered, If I honor myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that honors me; of whom you say, that he is your God:
Jesus in Gospel of John 8:54 is saying "you Jews", he is speaking to the Jews, of whome you say the Father is the God. So in the New Testament. Jews believed Father is the only God and Jesus acknowledged that there is no other God that they believe in.
Jesus was a strict monotheist. A Jewish scribe came and asked Jesus
[Mark 12:28]
[28] One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
[29] “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
[30] Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
[31] The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
Jesus confirmed this belief, the famous Shema from the Book of Deuteronomy 6:4 it says God is one and worship Him alone. Now this was the best time for Jesus to tell him "hold on, you have been worshiping the Father all the way along, all those centuries. Now there is a new covenant, things have changed. I have been now declared to be God and there is another one, a third person called the Holy Spirit. You must worship all three of us in one deity." But Jesus doesn't do that❗ He tells the Jewish man it's the same Unipersonal God.
And the Jewish man responds to Jesus in
[Mark 12:32]
"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.
Brothers and sisters, pay attention to these words, the Jewish man replies to Jesus you have spoken the truth "there is no one else beside Him." Who is Him❓ the Jewish man is saying Him, who does the Jewish man mean by Him❓ Him is the Father. Just like in John 8:54 Jesus says Father is your God. If Jesus was God, this was the best time to say he is God.
Instead of Jesus telling the Jewish man "hold on. No❗ No❗No❗ there are two more", he says "'you are close to the kingdom of God."
[Mark 12:34]
When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.
Jesus is saying you are telling the truth and you have stated correctly that there is no one else besides Him.
Then we read Jesus speaking to the Samaritan woman
