Post 6 Bible always wrong scientifically
Quran corrects biblical Scientific blunders (Rainbow, Global flood and Noah-Peace be upon him)
Rain bow
Bible says in Genesis, Ch. No.9, Verse No.13 to 17, that… ‘After God, at the time of Noah submerged the world by flood, and after the flood’ subsided, He said… ‘I put up a rainbow in the sky as a promise to the humankind never to submerge the world again, by water. To the unscientific person it may be quite good… ‘Oh rainbow is a sign of Almighty God, never to submerge the world by flood again.’ But today we know very well, that rainbow is due to the refraction of sunlight, with rain or mist. Surely there must have been thousands of rainbows before the time of Noah, peace be upon him. To say it was not there before Noah’s time you have to assume that the law of refraction did not exist - which is unscientific.’
NOAH (PBUH) AND THE FLOOD
The Biblical description of the flood in Genesis chapter 6, 7 and 8 indicates that the deluge was universal and it destroyed every living thing on earth, except those present with Noah (pbuh) in the ark. The description suggests that the event took place 1656 years after the creation of Adam (pbuh) or 292 years before the birth of Abraham, at a time when Noah (pbuh) was 600 years old. Thus the flood may have occurred in the 21st or 22nd Century B.C.
This story of the flood, as given in the Bible, contradicts scientific evidence from archaelogical sources which indicate that the eleventh dynasty in Egypt and the third dynasty in Babylonia were in existence without any break in civilisation and in a manner totally unaffected by any major calamity which may have occurred in the 21st century B.C. This contradicts the Biblical story that the whole world had been immersed in the flood water. In contrast to this, the Qur’anic presentation of the story of Noah and the flood does not conflict with scientific evidence or archaeological data; firstly, the Qur’an does not indicate any specific date or year of the occurance of that event, and secondly, according to the Qur’an the flood was not a universal phenomenon which destroyed complete life on earth. In fact the Qur’an specifically mentions that the flood was a localised event only involving the people of Noah.
It is illogical to assume that Prophet Muhummad (pbuh) had borrowed the story of the flood from the Bible and corrected the mistakes before mentioning it in the Qur’an.
.............details from Quran Noah's Flood in Quran (local) Truth as archaeologists confirms
The Bible insists that Noah's flood was global and no one survived except the believers who boarded the Ark with Noah. However the Quran says that the flood was local and all nations other than Noah's survived.
Local floods are very common however there is no scientific evidence for a global flood. But stories of a global flood are found in many ancient cultures all-around the globe. If it were a global flood, as portrayed in the Bible, no one would have survived other than the believers who boarded the Ark with Noah. There would be no disbelievers who didn't board the Ark and survived. However the Quran says something else. It says that there were disbelievers who didn't board the Ark but still survived:
[Quran 11:48] It was said, "O Noah, disembark with peace from Us; and with blessings upon you, and upon communities from those with you. And other communities We will grant prosperity and later We will hand them painful torture."
In the Quran other people survived. Since God will punish them later then definitely they were disbelievers who were not onboard the Ark. If only believers boarded the Ark but still disbelievers survived then this means that it was just a local flood. Those who were not in the area survived.
The very next verse says that this story was not known before:
[Quran 11:49] These are some stories from the past that we reveal to you. Neither you, nor your people knew them before this. So be patient. The future belongs to the pious.
The Bible insists on a global flood killing all disbelievers. The story in the Quran, that other disbelievers survived, was not known to previous cultures. The Quran was the first to proclaim it.
In the Quran the last prophet was sent to all nations however Noah was sent to just his own people:
[Quran 21:107] We did not send you except as mercy to all nations.
Alameen لِلْعَالَمِينَ in Arabic means "all nations". The last prophet was sent to all nations. However Noah was not sent to all nations but sent to just his own people:
[Quran 7:59] We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people!Worship Allah; you have no god other than Him. I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day."
In the Quran Noah was sent to just his own people, not to all nations. And those who were drowned by the flood were disbelievers from his own people, not from all nations.
The Quran never said that God drowned all nations Alameen الْعَالَمِينَ. However the Quran consistently said that God drowned only the people of Noah:
[Quran 25:37] And the people of Noah: when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them, and made them a lesson for mankind. We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful retribution.
God drowned disbelievers from Noah's own people قَوْمَ نُوحٍ and made them a lesson for mankind. The Quran never said that God drowned mankind.
Noah was sent to just his own people, not to all nations. And Noah presented God's revelations to just his own people, not to all nations. And those who rejected the revelations were from Noah's own people, not all nations. So God drowned disbelievers from Noah's own people, not all nations. In the Quran all other nations had nothing to do with the flood. This means that it was just a local flood.
The Quran referred to the stuff Noah owned only.
[Quran 11:40] Until, when Our command came, and the "Tannur" boiled, We said, "Board into it a pair of every kind, and your family-except those against whom the sentence has already been passed-and those who have believed." But those who believed with him were only a few.
"Tannur التَّنُّورُ"is a whole in the ground for baking. When the "Tannur" fills with water; however it is in the singular mode not plural. If it were a global flood then every Tannur on Earth should have filled with water; but this wasn't the case, only the Tannur that he owned. From the "Tannur" we know that this verse is referring to what he owned only. Similarly in the same verse the animals that should board the ark are also the animals that he owned only, not every animal on Earth.
There is no scientific evidence for a global flood however local floods are very common. No mistakes in the Quran.
How could an Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) a man who lived 1400 years ago have known that there was no global flood?
#Slave_harsh_treatment which is #cruel #Islam_or_Bible ???
Zadhan Abl Umar reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) say: He who slaps his slave or beats him, the expiation for it is that he should set him free.

Bible
It's ok to beat your slave as long as they don't die
“When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property” Exodus 21:20-21
According to this verse above
Slave must be patient to beating harshly by the master
1 Peter 2:18 "Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect (including for sex), not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.
