Mothers shall suckle their children for two years completely, for whoever desires to fulfill the suckling. It is for the father to provide for them and clothe them with kindness. No soul is charged except to its capacity. A mother shall not be harmed for her child, neither a father for his child. And upon the heir is like that. If both desire to wean by mutual consent and consultation, then no guilt shall be on them. And if you desire a wet nurse for your children, then no guilt shall be on you if you hand over what you have given with kindness. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is the Seer of what you do. (233)

সন্মানিত দ্বীনি ভাই ও বোনেরা- আপনারা যারা সালাম ফিরানোর পরে সম্মিলিত মোনাজাত করেন বা সুন্নত সালাতের জন্য দাড়িয়ে যান, তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলছি- সালাম ফিরানোর পরে এই জিকিরগুলো পাঠের অফুরন্ত ফযিলত বর্ণিত হয়েছে।

রাসূল সা. বলেন,
«مَنْ سَبَّحَ الله فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاةٍ ثَلاثاً وَثَلاثِينَ، وَحَمِدَ الله ثَلاثاً وَثَلاثِينَ، وَكَبَّرَ الله ثَلاثاً وَثَلاثِينَ، فَتِلْكَ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ، وَقَالَ تَمَامَ المِائَةِ: لا إلَهَ إلَّا الله وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الملْكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ غُفِرَتْ خَطَايَاهُ وَإنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ البَحْرِ»

যে ব্যক্তি প্রত্যেক ফরয নামাযের পর:
৩৩ বার সুবহা-নাল্লাহ, ৩৩ বার আলহামদুলিল্লাহ , ৩৩ বার আল্লাহু আকবার পড়বে।
তারপর নিচের দু‘আ পড়বে:
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
তার গুনাহ-খাতা মাফ করে দেয়া হবে, যদিও তা সমুদ্রের ফেনা পরিমাণ হয়। (সহীহ মুসলিম)

তাই আসুন সবাই চেষ্টা করি সালামের পরে যে জিকিরগুলির হাদিসে বর্ণিত হয়েছে, তা পাঠ করার। আল্লাহ আমাদের সকলকে তওফিক দেন। আমিন

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: It was said to the Messenger of Allah, “Which of the people is best?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Everyone who is pure of heart and truthful in speech.” They said, “Truthful in speech we know, but what is a pure heart?” He said, “It is a heart that fears Allah and is clean; there is no sin in it and neither aggression, malice, or envy. ”

[Sunan Ibn Majah, Book of Asceticism, Number 4216, Sahih]

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ كُلُّ مَخْمُومِ الْقَلْبِ صَدُوقِ اللِّسَانِ قَالُوا صَدُوقُ اللِّسَانِ نَعْرِفُهُ فَمَا مَخْمُومُ الْقَلْبِ قَالَ هُوَ التَّقِيُّ النَّقِيُّ لَا إِثْمَ فِيهِ وَلَا بَغْيَ وَلَا غِلَّ وَلَا حَسَدَ

After giving at talk at Abu Huraira Center a week ago, Sh Abdul Qadir from Kenya gave a talk on the Mother and her rights. When he began his talk, one of the activist brothers was very upset and said to me, "How can he talk about the mother at this time? When our Muslim brothers are being bombarded by French planes in Northern Mali!!! He should be telling the people about that! Rather than talking about something everybody already knows about like the mother's rights!!." I replied, "Did you see the number of youth in the Masjid, brother? They are around 70%!! Do you know what is the biggest problem facing Muslims here in Toronto and North America? It is rebellion of the youth against their mothers. Disrespect of their mothers, disobedience to their mothers, abuse of their mothers!!! What the Shaikh is speaking about is exactly what they need to hear. Talking to them about French bombing of Muslim forces in Northern Mali would mean virtually nothing to them. And what could they do, even if they knew?" The brother then said, sheepishly, "I'm sorry brother, I didn't look at it that way." We really need to prioritize properly and stay relevant in our approach.

O mankind! Have fear of Allah, Who created you from a single soul, and from it created its mate and from the two of them spread abroad a multitude of men and women. Fear Allah in Whom you claim your mutual (rights), and toward the wombs (that bare you). Allah is ever Watching over you. Give orphans the property which belongs to them. Exchange not the good for the bad (in the way you manage their property), nor absorb their wealth into your own wealth. Indeed that would be a great sin.
