LOTS OF SLEEP AND SUDDEN DEATH

‏‎Science & Faith‎‏ مع ‏‎Abdul Baseer Ullal‎‏ و‏‏٣‏ آخرين‏.

LOTS OF SLEEP AND SUDDEN DEATH
Allah almighty ordered us to pray in night (the last third period of night) as it is considered to be the most important kind of worshiping Allah the only creator, what is the new about the importance of waking up in the night?…
Allah says in the holly Qur’an about this life:”O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.”[Sûrat Ghâfir (The Forgiving)- verse 39].so, every work for not the sake of Allah is indeed worth nothing in the day of resurrection when no work will benefit human except done works for the sake of Allah. One of the great works in Islam is the prayer in night because the believer don’t sleep a lot of time as he or she is concerning about the hereafter and the day when he or she will stand in frontof Allah the creator.
But couple of years ago some studies had been published to confirm that sleeping for a long time is good and can be a reason for a long life. Here, some kind of contradiction did occur between science and Qur’an. How can we understand the science facts while Allah orders us a reverse order to that science?
Always, we have to understand a golden rule that the Qur’an is always right even there is a contradiction between science and Qur’an because one day the rightness of the Qur’an will be clear to all people.
That calls us to claim that this scientific fact is wrong, and that what exactly happened! The new studies had confirmed that sleeping many hours may limit the life of people. According to the latest researches some American researchers did confirm that women who sleeps many hours are exposed to cardiovasculardiseases more than others who don’t sleep that much. Also another research did confirm that waking up in night Prolong life.
According to stoke medical magazine, the researchers found that there is a high probability for infecting by Ischemic Stroke which is up to 70 % between women who sleeps nine hours or more in the night.
The study was done on about 93000 women between 50 and 79 years and after seven years of researching, the researchers found that 1166 of them was subject to Ischemic Stroke which prevents the oxygen from the brain which leads to death.
Also they found that the probability of infecting by that stroke is 14% in the women who sleeps 6 hours or less and it’s 24%in women who sleeps 8 hours or more and 70% in women who sleeps 9 hours.
The above is a photo for an ill heart as doctors say that long sleep helps in the disorder of heart’s muscle and there are many studies which links between the long sleep and the sudden death , also the researchers believe that waking up for half an hour at night is very useful to activate the heart and feeds it with oxygen because heart and brain may be affected by a deficit in oxygen so human may die because of that, so they advise people to wake up for a little time at night to activate brain and heart
Here we only say, glory to Allah! Isn’t an Islamic order which was mentioned by the prophet 1400 years ago!!! The prophet was a perfect guide for Muslim as he used to wake up at night to pray to Allah. Today, doctors and researchers advise us to follow these activities. What a great religion.
But the difference between what they do and what we do is that they do it for this life but we Muslims do it for Allah.
So, my brothers and sisters you have to follow the guidance of our prophet as it is a great worship to Allah almighty as the prophet peace be upon him told us that a one prayer at the end of the night is better than the whole world.
At the end I want to add my personal experience as I used for the last 15 years to be awake till the “Fajr” to understand the Qur’an and to figure out its meanings and I found that this increases my creation and happiness.Glory to Allah as He almighty gives me my provision from where I don’t expect because I believe in what Allah almighty tells us in the Qur’an: (And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty* And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine)
[Sûrat At-Talâq (The Divorce)verse 2-3].
So, don’t worry for anything and don’t say if I pray at night how can I get my provision because He almighty promised us to deliver the livelihood of all creatures even the ant as He Almighty says: (And no (moving) living creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah. And He knows its dwelling place and its deposit (in the uterous, grave, etc.). All is in a Clear Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz - the Book of Decrees with Allah)[Sûrat Hûd(Prophet) Hûd- verse 6].

‏‎Quest for Paradise‎‏ مع ‏‎NazNin Aktar‎‏ و‏‏٢‏ آخرين‏.

>:<3:< Tahajjud Prayer ~ The Beauty of Night >:<3:<
..He awakes in the middle of the night with a purpose. Slowly, he gets out of bed and quietly slips off to the bathroom so not to awaken the others. Inside he feels refreshed as the cool water splashes on his face, arms and feet. Revived, he heads out with a purpose to his prayer room.
He has had a very difficult day with a lot of questions echoing in his head, but he did not complain to anybody, as he knows there is only One who can assist him. The One who ordered him to seek assistance through prayer and patience, so here he is, seeking assistance through prayer, while many others sleep.
He raises his hands above his shoulders and proclaims the greatness of his Creator “Allāhu Akbar!”, then folds them on his chest. Quietly, he seeks protection from the accursed Satan, and begins in the name of his Lord. He recites The Opening Chapter in beautiful rhythmic tones. He takes his time, knowing that after every verse, his Lord replies. “All praise is for Allāh, the Lord of the Worlds,” he begins. He can feel the response within him, “My slave has praised me!”
“Most Gracious, Most Merciful,” he continues. “My slave has glorified me!” is the response. “Master of the Day of Judgment,” he affirms. “My slave has related all matters to me,” Allāh responds. “You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help,” he attests. Allāh's reply fills his heart with hope and joy, “This is between me and my servant and my servant will have whatever he asks for!”
At this point, he breaks down into tears as he asks Allāh for the most important thing in his life, “Guide us to the straight path, the path of those who have earned your favor, not of those who have earned your anger or have gone astray!” He feels peace as he internalizes Allāh's response, “This is for my slave and my slave will have what he asked for.”
He then recites further and feels Allāh's guidance in every verse he recites. For whichever chapter of the Qurʾān he chooses to recite from, he is assured that he will find guidance as Allāh has testified, “this is the book in which there is no doubt, it is a guidance for those who are conscious of Allāh.” After completing his emotional recitation in which he pondered over Allāh's wise and reassuring words, he bows in rukū' and glorifies his Lord for His guidance and mercy.
He then stands up straight and praises Allāh as he prepares for his favorite part of the prayer: the sajdah! He proclaims the greatness of Allāh and goes straight down into prostration, indicating his full submission to his Creator. It is a position which signifies complete obedience and humility and it is the position in which a person is closest to their Lord.
He stays in sajdah for a long time with no intention of getting up soon. He glorifies his Lord, The Most High, multiple times then breaks down into tears and begins to ask for everything he needs. He stays like this for several minutes with only Allāh knowing what he is saying. He is praying; praying for everything he needs, praying for everyone he knows, praying for people he doesn't know, praying for people who might even hate or harm him. He prays and prays, in complete submission to his Lord.
He then sits up to take a short break and seeks forgiveness for any shortcomings in his prayer, then goes back into prostration to glorify His Lord more and ask Him again for His endless bounties. After a few minutes, he stands up and repeats the entire cycle again.
Several minutes later, the humble slave returns to his bed at peace with his Lord, and at peace with creation. He recites his du‘ā’ before sleeping and closes his eyes for a short nap, ready to tackle the challenges of life in the morning with full faith in his Lord.
This is ṣalāh, true ṣalāh. Ṣalāh based upon understanding, concentration, sincerity and submission. It was never meant to be a ritual, but rather a means of communication with our Creator and spiritual revival.
May Allāh grant us all the ability, guidance and commitment to pray like this every day in all our prayers.#<3. Aameen.

ALIENS, ALTERNATE DIMENSIONS, AND ALLAH

‏‎Science & Faith‎‏ مع ‏‎Jineesh PT‎‏ و‏‏٩‏ آخرين‏.

ALIENS, ALTERNATE DIMENSIONS, AND ALLAH
Let’s say that one day we discover extraterrestrials knocking on our atmosphere. No doubt, this would be a shock to the world. But would the mere existence of these aliens shake the core foundation of all world religions? Would Islam come to a screeching halt with the revelation that there is other intelligent life in the universe? Not at all.
For starters, here is this verse in the Qur’an:
“And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.” (42:29)
The Arabic term used for the phrase “through them” is fihima, which can only mean the living creatures can exist both within the heavens and on Earth[1]. One could interpret the “living creatures” to be angels, since the term “heaven” used here is often used to denote the realm of God. There are two problems with this interpretation, however. First, there is another verse in the Qur’an where God makes a clear distinction between “living beings” and angels:
“And to Allah doth obeisance all that is in the heavens and on earth, whether moving (living) creatures or the angels: for none are arrogant (before their Lord).” (16:49)
Second is that the term used for “heaven” in Arabic (sama) is not synonymous with Paradise (jannah), as is common in English terminology, which we often attribute to the residence of God and angels. As the scholar Muhammad Asad explains in his translation, The Message of the Qur’an:
“The term sama ("heaven" or "sky") is applied to anything that is spread like a canopy above any other thing. Thus, the visible skies which stretch like a vault above the earth and form, as it were, its canopy, are called sama: and this is the primary meaning of this term in the Qur'an; in a wider sense, it has the connotation of "cosmic system".”
It’s also worth noting that the first chapter of the Qur’an, the one that all Muslims recite in their daily prayers, contains the verse “Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds,” (1:2). Notice the plural of “worlds”. The meaning here is that God is the creator, sustainer, and master of all worlds in our universe—and, inevitably, any inhabitants within those worlds. Yusuf Ali, whose translation of the Qur’an is one of the most widely read in the world, also comments on this, saying that "It is reasonable to suppose that Life in some form or another is scattered through some of the millions of heavenly bodies scattered through space."
The existence of extraterrestrial beings is not outside the bounds of Islamic thought, and so it falls upon proof, not conjecture (and vague, grainy footage of discs in the sky), to confirm or deny their existence.
Plurals & Synonyms:
However, it’s also important to note that in the preceding verse, the plural “worlds” does not necessarily apply to celestial bodies alone.
The advent of quantum mechanics and string theory havs given rise to the insight that our physical universe is made up of more dimensions than our four observable dimensions. Initially, scientists believed that space and matter consisted of four dimensions: width, height, length, and time.
But with the discovery of Dark Matter and the fact that our universe is expanding, according to the most accepted theory so far among cosmologists (which the Qur’an alludes to in 51:47), scientists have found that other dimensions beyond our comprehension exist. Or, as Einstein discovered, space is not “nothing”. Furthermore, string theory suggests the existence of multiple—or parallel—universes.
Muslims have been acquainted with multiple dimensions and parallel worlds long before such terms were even coined. Jinn is an Arabic term used in the Qur’an to describe beings that live beyond our perception. As Muhammad Asad points out, the term is popularly attributed to “genies” or “demons”, when its actual meaning has a far wider implication than that.
The term Jinn is derived from the Arabic verb janna, which is best described as something that is “veiled from sight” and “can thus be applicable to all kinds of invisible beings or forces.”
The fact that Jinn are concealed from our senses, implicate that they live in dimensions beyond our perception. In fact, developments in quantum mechanics suggest that our universe could be made up with as many as eleven or 24 separate dimensions.
The Qur’an often refers to "the realm which is beyond the reach of human perception" and so it’s entirely possible that, as we live in our own observable four-dimensional space, the remaining dimensions beyond our perception host their own denizens as well.
Furthermore, it’s entirely possible that our universe is merely one of many “multiverses”.
Michio Kaku is one of the leading physicists in the world today. He succinctly explains how the multiverse theory works as such[2]: he likens it to our universe being an expanding bubble, with other bubbles being an offshoot of it.
These other universes could be at varying stages of development, some beginning, some ending, and some developing side-by-side with ours. The prospect of many universes existing separate from each poses no problem in Islamic thought.
As Muslims, we see it not as a refutation of God’s power, but as an even greater magnification of His limitless abilities, that He has the power to create and manage the minute and massive details in all universes, while never being wearied by doing so.
The process of creation is ongoing, and it’s entirely possible that other universes parallel to ours are being created as we speak. There are several verses in the Qur’an that mention this ongoing process of creation:
“Say: “It is Allah Who originates creation and repeats it: then how are ye deluded away (from the truth)?”” (10:34)
“Or, Who originates creation, then repeats is, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth?” (27:64)
“See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah.” (29:19)
Perhaps the term "creation" refers to both the creation and reproduction of mankind and also the creation and reproduction of multiple universes at large. The Qur’an also mentions, in many places, “seven heavens”:
“He it is who has created for you all that is on earth, and has applied His design to the heavens and fashioned them into seven heavens; and He alone has full knowledge of everything.” (2:29).
Multiverses:
It is important to note here that the Qur’an was revealed in Arabic, and so any attempt at translating it into English or any other language results in a loss of many metaphors and idioms common in Arabic.
One such idiom, as Muhammad Asad points out, is that “in Arabic usage – and apparent in other Semitic languages as well – the number “seven” is often synonymous with “several”...just as “seventy” or “seven hundred” often means “many” or “very many”... This, taken together with the accepted linguistic definition that “every sama is a sama with regard to what is below it” (sama meaning heaven or sky) may explain the “seven heavens” as denoting the multiplicity of cosmic systems.”
The possibility of life on other planets—in other universes even—has always been considered to be in the realm of Star Trek and Stargate. However, the more we learn about our universe the more we have seen that science fiction is becoming science fact.
Sadly, many people fret and fray that such things would either be blasphemous or would somehow extinguish belief in God. But as we’ve seen, both claims are erroneous. The existence of aliens and parallel universes must stand on its own merits and scientific proofs.
And if such things do exist, then so be it; the Islamic faith would remain unchanged, undisturbed, by them.
Muhammad Asad beautifully sums up the Islamic position on extraterrestrial life, multiple universes and dimensions in the following passage:
“The Qur'an refers often to "the realm which is beyond the reach of human perception" (al-ghayb), while God is frequently spoken of as "the Sustainer of all the worlds" (rabb al-alamin): and the use of the plural clearly indicates that side by side with the "world" open to our observation there are other "worlds" as well - and, therefore, other forms of life, different from ours and presumably from one another, and yet subtly interacting and perhaps even permeating one another in a manner beyond our ken.”
And, as always, Allah knows best.29:19
