shirk
Shirk is associating others with Allah in His Divinity or worship and it is the opposite of Tawhid (monotheism).
The types of Shirk Shirk can be divided into three types: - Ash-Shirk ul-Akbar (The major shirk) - Ash-Shirk ul-Asghar (The minor shirk) - Ash-Shirk ul-Khafie (The hidden shirk) (1) ▨ Major shirk: to associate partners with Allah in His Lordship, worship or Names and Attributes is considered to be major shirk. Allah the Exalted said: (Verily, Allah forgives not (the sin of) associating partners (in worship) with Him, but He forgives whom He wills, sins other than that) (An-Nisa'a 4: 48, 116) The following are the types of shirk that people had fallen into: ◕ Shirk in Lordship (Ruboobiah): to believe that there are gods beside Allah who create, provide, sustain, or cause life or death. ◕ Shirk in worship (Uloohiah): to assign any of the acts of worship to anything or any one other than Allah. The acts of worship whether it is performed by the limbs, the heart or the tongue it should be directed solely to Allah alone without any partners. None is to be worshiped with Allah the Exalted, not even a saint, a close angel or a sent messenger. Acts of worships include: praying, fasting, Pilgrimage, supplication, sacrifice, vow and actions of the heart (i.e. love, hope, fear, repentance, dependence, help etc...). The actions of the heart vary but what is meant here is the portion which is implicitly should be for Allah the Exalted. ◕ Shirk in Allah's Names and Attributes (Al-Asma was- sifat): to believe that there is someone who shares with Allah His Names or Attributes. Allah the Exalted said: (There is nothing like to Him, and He is the All-Hearer the All-Seer) (Ash-Shura 42:11) The Ruling of major shirk: Who ever commits major shirk is considered: 1. a disbeliever in Allah (not a Muslim) 2. And he will dwell Hell Fire eternally (2) ▨ Minor shirk: ◕ Ar-Riya (The mionor Shirk, i.e. acts performed to show off) Any act of worship or any religious deed done in order to gain praise, fame or for worldly purposes, falls under this category. The Ruling of minor shirk: Who ever commits minor shirk is considered: 1. a sinner Muslim who has commited a very great sin 2. and it is up to Allah whether to forgive him or punish him. "Verily, Allah forgives not (the sin of) associating partners (in worship) with Him, but He forgives whom He wills, sins other than that" (An-Nisa'a 4: 48, 116) (3) ▨ Hidden shirk: Some scholars said this is a third type of shirk. But the other scholars said that it falls under the previous two types. ◕ Among The hidden shirk some is considered to be major shirk, such as the actions of the hypocrites, who pretend to be Muslim while deep in their heart they conceal animosity and hatred for Islam and the Muslims. ◕ Some Hidden shirk is considered minor shirk such as the little amount of show off when performing acts of worship, which may also reach major shirk. For instance if some one starts praying and when he notices that some one is watching him, he starts to make his prayer better. If he continues doing that in the entire prayer, his prayer becomes invalid. This is because he didn't perform it sincerely for Allah. But if he fights back this bad intention and he doesn't allow it to persist and overcome his sincerity, then his prayer is valid. In all cases all types of shirk are considered as a danger to the ones belief in Allah. And under all circumstances the one should free himself from all types of shirk. Abu Bakr Siddique (ra) has narrated that Rasulullah (saw) said: “Shirk in my Ummah is much more hidden than the pace of an ant crawling upon a black stone.” Shirk is very hidden. It enters the heart very silently and very few are saved from it. Upon hearing this, Abu Bakr asSiddique (ra) asked: “How can one be saved from it?” Rasulullah said : “Should I not show you such a supplication (dua) that if you recite it, you will be free from minor and major shirk.” Abu Bakr (ra) requested him to do so, Rasulullah (saw) instructed him to say : اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَعُوْذُبِكَ اَنْ اُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَاَنَاْ اَعْلَمُ وَاَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِماَ لَا اَعْلَمُ “O Allah, I seek protection in You from that I ascribe partners to You knowingly and I seek forgiveness from You for those things which I do not know.” ameen |

jesus
Logically the father is elder than the son and pre-exist him, but Christians call and describe the relation between God and Jesus as father and son, so Jesus in this reationship can not be sharing the attribute of eternity with the father, because he being a son should have a begining.
the Bible says that Jesus wes created and begotten (Colossians 1:15)
(John 3:16), but where was he before that ?!! he did not exist -at least as distinct being.
Jesus (the Son) is not eternal
Jesus is not God

worship
Worship provides the believers with many benefits that contribute to both their spiritual and worldly well-being. The human body needs material resources for its existence, like food, drink, and a means of reproduction. As for the soul, its needs cannot be fulfilled except through nearness to God by means of faith and obedience, which can only be achieved through worship.

why are we here?
Well, why are we here? To amass fame and fortune? To make music and babies? To be the richest man or woman in the graveyard for, as we are jokingly told, “He who dies with the most toys wins?”
No, there must be more to life than that, so let’s think about this. To begin with, look around you. Unless you live in a cave, you are surrounded by things we humans have made with our own hands. Now, why did we make those things? The answer, of course, is that we make things to perform some specific function for us. In short, we make things to serve us. So by extension, why did God make us, if not to serve Him?
If we acknowledge our Creator, and that He created humankind to serve Him, the next question is, “How? How do we serve Him?” No doubt, this question is best answered by the One who made us. If He created us to serve Him, then He expects us to function in a particular manner, if we are to achieve our purpose. But how can we know what that manner is? How can we know what God expects from us? -www.OneReason.org
