﴿يولِجُ اللَّيلَ فِي النَّهارِ وَيولِجُ النَّهارَ فِي اللَّيلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمسَ وَالقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجري لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ذلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُم لَهُ المُلكُ وَالَّذينَ تَدعونَ مِن دونِهِ ما يَملِكونَ مِن قِطميرٍ﴾ [سورة فاطر: ١٣]
-"[Dios] hace que la noche se funda en el día y que el día se funda en la noche, sometió el Sol y la Luna, cada uno transcurre por una órbita prefijada. Él es Dios, su Señor; Suyo es el reino, pero los ídolos que ustedes invocan fuera de Él no poseen absolutamente nada, ni siquiera el pellejo de un hueso de dátil.

﴿إِن تَدعوهُم لا يَسمَعوا دُعاءَكُم وَلَو سَمِعوا مَا استَجابوا لَكُم وَيَومَ القِيامَةِ يَكفُرونَ بِشِركِكُم وَلا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثلُ خَبيرٍ﴾ [سورة فاطر: ١٤]

This objection only undermines the Qur’ān if all the valid interpretations are at odds with established science. What is meant by established science is any empirical observation or scientific conclusion that is extremely unlikely to change. It does not refer to scientific conclusions or theories that may change over time due to new data or observations. The objective of the article is to show that there are at least three valid interpretations of this verse that do not contradict established science or do contain any scientific error.
