Muslims Clearing Snow | Free Community Service | Dawah

Muslims Clearing Snow | Free Community Service | Dawah

This is exactly what Allah says when He said -

|| “You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allaah…” ||

- Qur'an | 3:110

Absolutely loving this. This is not an Islamic Country. It's the UK! This is why Islam teaches us to do Dawah not just by words but rather through Action.

‎" Treat your parents with great consideration; if either or both of them live with you in their old age, do not say even "oof" to them: nor rebuke them, but speak kind words to them; treat them with humility and tenderness and pray: "Lord, be merciful to them just as they brought me up with kindness and affection."

He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding. [Qur'an 2:269]

hadith

Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with Him) reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said:

"In Paradise there is a street to which they would come every Friday. The north wind will blow and would scatter fragrance on their faces and on their clothes and would add to their beauty and loveliness, and then they would go back to their family after having an added lustre to their beauty and loveliness, and their family would say to them: By Allah, you have been increased in beauty and loveliness after leaving us, and they would say: By Allah, you have also increased in beauty and loveliness after us.

(Saheeh Al Muslim, Book #40 ('The Book Pertaining to Paradise, Its Description, Its Bounties and Its Intimates), Hadith # 6792).

Question:

Islamic Research Foundation / Dr.Zakir Naik / IRF
Question:

Science tells us that whatever one eats, it has an effect on one’s behaviour. Why then, does Islam allow Muslims to eat non-vegetarian food, since eating of animals could make a person violent and ferocious?

Answer:

1. Only eating of herbivorous animals allowed
I agree that, what a person eats has an effect on his behaviour. This is one of the reasons why Islam prohibits the eating of carnivorous animals like lion, tiger, leopard, etc. who are violent and ferocious. The consumption of the meat of such animals would probably make a person violent and ferocious. Islam only allows the eating of herbivorous animals like cow, goat, sheep, etc. that are peaceful and docile. We Muslims eat peaceful and docile animals because we are peace loving and non-violent people.

2. The Qur’an says Prophet(pbuh) prohibits what is bad
The Qur’an says:

For he (the Prophet) commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure),”

[Al Qur’an 7: 157]

“So take what the Messenger assigns to you and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you.” [Al Qur’an 59: 7]

For a Muslim, the Prophet’s (pbuh) statement is sufficient to convince him that Allah does not wish humans to eat some kinds of meat while allowing some other kinds.

3. Hadith of Muhammad (pbuh) prohibi-ting eating of carnivorous animals
According to various authentic Ahadith narrated in Sahih Al Bukhari and Sahih Muslim including hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas in Sahih Muslim, Book of hunting and slaughter, Hadith 4752 and Sunan Ibn Maajah Chapter 13 Hadith 3232 - 3234, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) prohibited the eating of:

(i) Wild animals with canine teeth, i.e. meat eating carnivorous animals. These are animals belonging to the cat families such as lion, tiger, cats, dogs, wolves, hyenas, etc.

(ii) Certain rodents like mice, rats, etc.

(iii) Certain reptiles like snakes, alligators, etc.

(iv) Birds of prey with talons or claws, like vultures, eagles, crows, owls, etc.

"Which is easier: to say,

Matthew 9:5 "Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?"

which is easier and more wise from God to forgive the sin of the repenter .. or to transform to a baby in Mary's womp then a kid ...etc till he gets crucified as a sacrifice for himself to forgive the sins of the sinful people who refuse to repent ?!!

in the next verse (Matt 9:6) Jesus had the authority to forgive sins without any sacrifices, why he did not do so from the begining ?!

quran

‎"O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?"

(Al Qur'an, 35:03)

"Marriage is a school where you get the certificate before you start.

A school where you will never graduate.

A school without a break or a free period.

A school where no one is allowed to drop out.

A school which you will have to attend every day of your life.

A school where there is no sick leave or holidays.

A school founded by the Almighty:
1.On the foundation of love,
2.The walls made of trust,
3.The door made of acceptance,
4.The windows made of understanding.
5.The furniture made of blessings.
6.The roof made of faith.

Before you forget, you are just a student not the principal. The Almighty is the principal.

Even at times of a storm, don't be unwise and run outside.

Remember this school is the safest place to be.

Never go to sleep before completing your assignments for the day.

Never forget the C-word, communicate, communicate, communicate with your classmate and with the Principal.

If you find something in your classmate (spouse) that you do not appreciate, remember your classmate is also just a student not a graduate. The Almighty is not finished with him/her yet, so take it as a challenge and work on it together.

Do not forget to study, study, study the Noble Book (the main textbook in this school).

Start each day with a sacred assembly and end it the same way.

Sometimes you will feel like not attending class, yet you have to.

When tempted to quit find the courage and continue.

Some tests and exams may be tough but remember the Principal knows how much you can bear.

Still, it is one of the best schools on earth; joy, peace and happiness accompany each lesson of the day.

Different subjects are offered in this school, yet love is the major subject.

After all the years of being theoretical about it, now you have a chance to practice it.

To be loved is a good thing, but to love is the greatest privilege of them all.

Marriage is a place of love, so love your spouse but remember: "This class doesn't involve a person who is not permitted into it"! If you invite your mother or father or your friends to this class, or anyone who is not allowed to be there, you will fail the exam.

It is you who should attend and it is you who will pass.

Its your choice today:" build it or break it".

May the Almighty bless us all. Aameen "

why Muslims Must Follow the Sunna As

❊ Why Muslims Must Follow the Sunna As
Well As the Quran ?! ❊

I was shocked to know that some muslims todays don't believe in the Sunnah of the prophet as a part of ISLAMIC FAITH , despite that Allah SWT says repeatedly in the Quran to obey both Him and the Messenger ...

One example is Surah[ an-Nisa ayah 59.]

" O you, those who have faith, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you dispute over a thing, then return it to Allah and the Messenger, if you have faith in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more beautiful of interpretation. "

ALLAH THE ALMIGHTY says that the Prophet (sAas) has been sent to explain the Quran, not just to deliver it (Surah an-Nahl ayah 44).

" By clear proofs and scriptures, and We have sent down on you (O Prophet) the Reminder, that you can explain to humankind what is sent down for them and in order that they may reflect."

He The Supreme says that people do not have faith if they do not take the Prophet (sAas) as the judge of their disputes (Surah an-Nisa ayah 65).

" No, by your Lord and Sustainer, they do not have faith until they have you (O Prophet) judge what is disputed among them, then they do not find in their souls any distress at what you have decided, and they accept it wholly and completely."

He also says that when He and the Prophet (sAas) have decided a matter, it is not for any believing man or woman to do anything but obey (Surah al-Ahzab ayah 36).

" And it is not ever for a faithful man or a faithful woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided an affair that there is any choice for them in their affair, and who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, so he is indeed wandering far astray. "

Allah further says that what the Messenger gives, people should take, and what he prohibits, they should abstain from (Surah al-Hashr ayah 7).

" ...And what the Messenger gives you, so take it, and what he prohibits you, so refrain from it. And be in awe of Allah. Surely Allah is Stern of Punishment. "

✎ How do we determine what the Prophet (sAas) has ordered, in order to obey it?

✎ How do we find out what he judged in disputes so that we can abide by it?

✎ How do we know what he has decided on matters, so that we can submit to it?

✎ How do we discover what he has given, so that we can take it, or what he has prohibited, so we can abstain from it?

The answer to all these questions is very simple: we look to the SUNNA. If you deny the validity of the Sunna then you may end up disobeying what the Prophet (sAas) has commanded, turning away from what he has judged, rejecting what he has decided, ignoring what he has given, and doing what he has prohibited.

And if you do these acts of disobedience, turning-away, rejecting, ignoring, and doing-the-prohibited then YOU HAVE DISOBEYED ALLAH. It's that simple. It is incumbent upon every Muslim to obey both the Quran and the Sunna. Read the verses I have cited for yourself. What do you think they mean?

hadith of peace

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No one is born except they are upon natural instinct; then his parents turn him into a Jew or Christian or Magian; as animals produce their young with perfect limbs, do you see anything defective?” Then Abu Huraira said: Recite the verse if you wish, “So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth; the nature of Allah upon which He has created the people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah; that is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.” (30:30)
