Wa Ta'ala) Says In [Surah Al-Baqarah Qur'an 2, Verse 120-123].

Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him) till you follow their religion. Say: "Verily, the Guidance of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) that is the (only) Guidance. And if you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him) were to follow their (Jews and Christians) desires after what you have received of Knowledge (i.e. the Quran), then you would have against Allah neither any Wali (protector or guardian) nor any helper.

Those (who embraced Islam from Bani Israel) to whom We gave the Book [the Taurat (Torah)] [or those (Muhammad's Peace be upon him companions) to whom We have given the Book (the Quran)] recite it (i.e. obey its orders and follow its teachings) as it should be recited (i.e. followed), they are the ones that believe therein. And whoso disbelieves in it (the Quran), those are they who are the losers. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi. Vol. 2, Page 95).

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you to the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of your time-period, in the past).

And fear the Day (of Judgement) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped.

Now what did Jesus -Peace be upon him- call people to?
Many people are oblivious to the fact that Jesus was a Muslim who lived Islam. I know that at first hearing this you're probably thinking how is that possible? Let me explain, Islam simply means to acquire peace by submitting your will to Almighty God, and a Muslim is the one doing the submitting, he is a "Peaceful Submitter"
Question:
Now what did Jesus -Peace be upon him- call people to?
Did Jesus call people to Christianity?
No! It didn't even exist during his time, he never heard this term.
Did Jesus call people to Judaism?
No! Judaism is derived from the name Judah, which was the name of one of Jacob's twelve sons and has nothing to do with what Jesus was calling to.
So what was the special way of life Jesus called people to?
Answer: Remeber Jesus' whole mission was calling people to submit their will to God Almighty. What does that mean? It means to do what the Almighty wants you to do, and not to follow your desires over God Almighty.
Reiterating this extremely important point that Jesus was sent by God Almighty as a Messenger calling people to Submit their will to God's will, this equals one word in Arabic "ISLAM"
Jesus was a "Peaceful Submitter" = Muslim, Jesus was calling people to "Submit their will to God's will" = Islam
