The Quran confirms his virgin birth, and a chapter of the Quran is entitled "Maryam ( Mary)." The Quran describes the birth of Jesus as follows:
(Remember) when the Angels said, "O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him ( God), whose name is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near ( to God). He will speak to the people from his cradle and as a man, he is of the righteous. " She said, "My Lord, how can I have a child when no mortal has touched me? " He said, "So ( it will be). God creates what He wills. If He decrees a thing, He says to it only, "Be! " and it is. "

"Và TA đã ban cho Ngươi (Muhammad) Kinh Sách bằng sự thật, xác nhận lại các điều mặc khải trong các Kinh Sách trước và giữ gìn chúng được nguyên vẹn. Bởi thế, hãy xét xử theo điều Allah đã ban xuống và chớ làm theo điều ham muốn của bản thân họ nghịch với Chân Lý mà Ngươi đã tiếp thu. TA đã quy định cho từng Sứ Giả trong các ngươi một hệ thống luật pháp và lề lối. Và nếu Allah muốn, Ngài thừa sức làm cho các ngươi thành một cộng đồng duy nhất, nhưng Ngài đã không làm thế vì muốn thử thách các ngươi với điều mà Ngài đã ban cho các ngươi. Bởi thế, hãy thi đua làm điều thiện tốt. Tất cả các ngươi sẽ được đưa về gặp Allah trở lại rồi Ngài sẽ cho các ngươi biết kết quả về điều cá ngươi đã từng tranh cải.
Và Ngươi (Muhammad), hãy xét xử theo điều Allah đã ban xuống và chớ làm theo ý muốn của họ và hãy cảnh giác họ sợ rằng họ sẽ quyến dụ Ngươi làm theo điều nghịch lại với một phần trong các điều lệnh mà Allah đã ban xuống cho Ngươi, nếu họ từ chối thì nên biết rằng Allah chỉ muốn trừng phạt họ về một số tội lỗi của họ, và quả thật đa số nhân loại là những kẻ dấy loạn.
Phải chăng họ mong được phân xử theo luật lệ của thời kỳ ngu muội? Và ai phân xử tốt hơn Allah cho đám người có đức tin?" [Surah Al-Maidah, câu: 48-50].
