C. Yes, I agree with you that the innocent should not be punished. I don’t understand this teaching of the Church, but whenever I question my priest he says, “Don’t question it. Believe and accept it as it is a mystery.”
M. Blind belief is dangerous and destructive! I also notice new innovations among modern day Christians. They are wearing crosses around their necks, and hanging crosses in their cars. It seems that they are now worshipping the cross as well. The Bible itself refutes this by warning not to worship ANY GRAVEN IMAGE. Crosses are definitely “graven images.” Further, how can you prove that the figures and photos depicting Jesus are a true reflection of what he looked like? Remember that the camera was invented about 1,800 years after Jesus departed from this earth.
C. Regarding the displaying and wearing of crosses, I agree that they are graven images and it is forbidden in the Bible. I don’t wear, or hang any crosses in my car, because I don’t think there is any justification to do so from the Bible. As for the photos of Jesus I have no answer, and you have given me more to think about regarding the cross and photos.
M. Is it also not contradicting the Bible itself, which says that you have to prove everything? (I Thessalonians 5:21): “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” Can worshipping the cross be good? Remember, no one in their proper senses will want to worship something that has harmed someone who is beloved to them. Will you worship a gun or knife that kills your child, mother or father or some one you love?
C. Never!
M. So how can the followers of Christ, who claim to love him, worship the cross on which he suffered / died? Of course Muslims do not believe that he died on the cross at all. The Qur’an is very explicit in stating that Jesus was neither crucified nor killed, but was saved; raised up alive, and will return to earth before the end of the world.
C. It’s really confusing.
M. But I Corinthians 14:33 says: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” The fact of the matter is that Doctrines made by men create confusion. The teachings of the Church contradict the teachings of Jesus (pbuh) and that is the cause of the confusion. If only the genuine followers of Jesus, who truly love him, read the Bible in context, and study the Qur’an, they will definitely reach the conclusion that GOD IS ONE, without any partners; and Jesus (pbuh) the son of Mary (pbuh) is a prophet of GOD!

Como muçulmanos, devemos confiar completamente em Allah (ter "Tawakkul") em todos os nossos assuntos. Nós também acreditamos que a vontade de Allah pode substituir nossos planos. No entanto, isso não significa que não devemos planejar e trabalhar com base no que Deus nos abençoou no conhecimento, na inteligência e no livre arbítrio.
O senso comum, bem como os ensinamentos islâmicos, nos diz que devemos empregar plenamente as faculdades concedidas por Deus, agradecendo a Deus o que ele nos forneceu, sem sentir orgulho e arrogancia sobre essas habilidades.
A lição que devemos aprender é que nós, como muçulmanos, devemos ter fé completa em Deus para nos ajudar em nossos esforços porque, sem Sua vontade e ajuda, nenhum resultado pode se concretizar. Quando confiamos completamente em Deus, acreditando que todo o sucesso pode vir somente quando Ele pretende que seja assim, podemos ganhar o prazer de Deus. Allah nos diz no Alcorão:
"... Certamente, Deus ama aqueles que depositam sua confiança (n’Ele)". (Alcorão 3:159)
O senso comum, bem como os ensinamentos islâmicos, nos diz que devemos empregar plenamente as faculdades concedidas por Deus, agradecendo a Deus o que ele nos forneceu, sem sentir orgulho e arrogancia sobre essas habilidades.

“Não assolará desgraça alguma, quer seja na terra, quer sejam a vossas pessoas, que não esteja registrada no Livro, antes mesmo que a evidenciemos. Sabei que isso é fácil a Deus,” (Alcorão 57:22)
