Revive a Sunnah: Rinsing the mouth after drinking
Milk or anything that has a fatty residue

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam drank some milk then called for some water. Once he got the water, he rinsed his mouth then said, "It has fat." [Collected by Bukhari 211 and Muslim 358]

Imam An-Nawwawee said,"This hadeeth confirms it's recommended to rinse the mouth after drinking milk."
[Sharh Saheeh Muslim ]

Shaykh Al-Uthaymee said, "The reason why the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam rinsed his mouth was because of the fat. It can be understood from this action that it's legislated to rinse the mouth from all foods which contain fat, regardless whether drank or chewed. Its good manners to rinse the mouth afterwards to remove the fat. If the substance is heavy in fat, then it's better to use siwak. For this reason the scholars say: it's sunnah to use siwak to remove any fat after eating if the smell of the mouth changed.

It says in al-Mawsoo‘ah al-Fiqhiyyah (38/108): Rinsing the mouth is mustahabb after one finishes eating, because of the report narrated by Suwayd ibn al-Nu‘maan (may Allah be pleased with him) according to which he went out with the Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam in the year of Khaybar. When they reached al-Sahba’ – which is the furthest part of Khaybar – he prayed ‘Asr then he called for food, but nothing was brought to him except saweeq (powdered roasted wheat or barley). He ordered that it be wetted with water because it was dry, and the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam ate and we ate, then he got up to pray Maghrib; he rinsed his mouth and we rinsed our mouths, then he prayed and he did not do wudoo’.

This hadeeth indicates that it is mustahabb to rinse your mouth after eating. The benefit of rinsing the mouth before starting to pray after eating saweeq, even though it is not greasy, is it may leave bits between the teeth or at the corners of the mouth, and trying to get rid of them may distract a person when he is praying. End quote. And Allah knows best.

* People will ride on saddles that aren't saddles

* The distance on earth will
become short;
* Horses will not be used in wars;
* Muslims will defeat the
Byzantines which will end
with the conquest of
Constantinople - Istanbul);
* The Jews will gather again to live in Bilad
Canaan;
* Very tall buildings will be
built;
* The disappearance of
knowledge and the
appearance of ignorance, with much killing;
* Adultery will
become widespread, and the drinking of
wine will become common;
* The number of men will
decrease and the number of
women will increase until there are 50 women to
be looked after by one man.
* Islam will become worn out like clothes are,
until no one will know what fasting, prayer,
charity and rituals are;
* Allah will send a disease
to fornicators that will have
no cure (Aids?);
* People will begin to believe in the stars and
reject
AL QADAR (THE DIVINE DECREEOF DESTINY);
*Men will pass by
people's graves and say: 'Would that I were in
his place'; (large
amount of suicidal deaths?)
* The Euphrates will uncover a mountain of gold
for
which people will fight over (the river of Alfurat
that
lies near Syria );
* Two large groups of people will fight one
another, and there will be many casualties;
they will both be
following the same religion (World War II?);
* Approximately 30 DAJJALS will appear, each
one claiming to be the messenger of ALLAH;
* Earthquakes will increase;
* Time will pass quickly;
* Afflictions will appear;
* Killing will increase;
* Wealth will increase;
* Women will be wearing clothes but not
wearing clothes
* THE PROPHET (saw) SAID: 'IF MY UMMAH
BEARS 15 TRAITS (QUALITIES),
TRIBULATION
WILL FOLLOW IT.' (ON DAY OF JUDGEMENT)
SOMEONE ASKED,'WHAT ARE THEY O
MESSENGER OF ALLAH?' HE (saw)
SAID:
* When any gain is shared out
only among the rich,
with no benefit to the poor;
*When a trust becomes a
means of making profit;
* When paying ZAKKAT becomes a burden;
* When voices are raised in the mosque;
* When the leader of a people is the worst of
them;
when people treat a man with respect because
what he may do;
* When much wine is
drunk;
*red wind or the earth
swallow them, or to be
transformed into animals.'
* 'IMRAN IBN HUSAYN SAID: 'THE PROPHET
(AS)
SAID, 'SOME PEOPLE OF THIS UMMAH WILL BE
SWALLOWED BY THE EARTH,
TRANSFORMED
INTO ANIMALS, AND SOME WILL BE
BOMBARDED
WITH STONES'. ONE OF
THE MUSLIMS ASKED, WHEN WILL THAT BE O
MESSENGER Of ALLAH?'' HE SAID,
'WHEN SINGERS AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
WILL BECOME POPULAR, AND MUCH
WINE IS DRUNK.''
THE GREATER SIGNS
OF THE HOUR: The Quran will
disappear in one night, even from the people's
hearts, and no
Ayah will be left on
earth. (Some groups of old people will be left
who will
say: 'We heard of fathers' saying
'LAILLAHA ILLA ALLAH' so we repeat it);
* The appearance of the MAHDI;
* The appearance of the DAJJAL (Anti Christ);
* The appearance of Ya'juj and Ma'juj
(biblical Gog and Magog);
* Isa (Jesus) will come during the time of Dajjal;
* The rising of the sun from the west;
* The destruction of the Ka'aba and the
recovery of
its treasures;
* The smoke.
Just remember- Allah is watching you.
As we look at this article we
realize how true the
Messenger (P.B.U.H) was, these signs were
prophesied 1400 years ago.

,, Indeed amongst the most difficult types of patience is in refraining from committing wrong actions of speech which leads to many other wrong actions.

,, Wrong actions of speech, such as backbiting and slander, telling lies to create trouble between people, and praising oneself explicitly or implicitly, and insulting people one does not like and praising those whom one dose like.

,, There is a strong motive to commit these wrong actions, and it is easy to move one’s tongue and speak, so the patience required to abstain from them is particularly difficult.

,, Abu Moosaa Al-Ash'aree said:

"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah Which of the Muslims is best?' He said: 'He whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe from.'"
[Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim]

,, Sahl Ibn Sa'ad reported that the Messenger of Allah (salallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

"Whosoever can guarantee for me (that he will safeguard) what is between his jaws (tongue) and what is between his legs (private parts), I will guarantee for him Paradise."
[Saheeh Al-Bukhaaree]

,, Abu Hurairah reported that he heard the Prophet (salallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) say:

"Indeed, the servant will speak a word, while being unaware of (its consequences), and due to it, he will be cast into the Hellfire, farther than the distance between the east and the west."
[Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim]

,, The meaning of "while being unaware" is that he does not stop to consider whether his speech is good or not.

,, Sufyaan Ibn 'Abdillaah reported that he said:

"O Messenger of Allah, tell me of a matter that I may cling tightly onto.' He said: 'Say: I believe in Allah and then remain steadfast (upon that).’ I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the most serious thing that I should fear for myself?' So he took a hold of his tongue and said: 'This.'"
[An authentic hadeeth reported by At-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah and others]

So you might see a individual who stays up all night praying, fasting all day, and would refrain from touching a pillow if it were made of silk, yet that individual gives his tongue free rein in backbiting, slandering and causing trouble between people.

,, Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the most beloved to me are those of you with the best character, soft in nature, friendly and befriended. The most hateful of you to Allah are those who spread gossip, who cause discord between loved ones and seek misery for the innocent.”

In another narration, the Prophet said, “Seeking misery and finding faults with the innocent.”

Muslim : Where's Jesus?

Muslim : How are they seated on one chair?

Allah clearly tells us in Qu'ran :-

"O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs."
