La maledicencia
Ibn ‘Abbas, un compañero del Profeta Muhammad (que la paz y las bendiciones de Allah sean con él) y comentarista del Corán, dijo que Allah nos prohibió la maledicencia de la misma forma que nos prohibió comer la carne de un hermano muerto. El canibalismo es algo por lo que la gente siente un desprecio y horror naturales, y deberíamos sentir lo mismo por la maledicencia de los unos contra los otros. El respeto implica cuidarnos el uno al otro, sin hacer carroña del prestigio ajeno como no lo haríamos de una persona muerta.

Las palabras ciertamente encierran un gran poder y tienen efectos de muy largo alcance difíciles de medir. Además de la obvia falta de respeto que implica la maledicencia (murmuración, infundio, chismorreo, habladuría, difamación, etc.), unas simples palabras pueden causar una gran ofensa y dolor al difamado, y conducir al difamador al fuego del Infierno. El Profeta Muhammad (que la paz y las bendiciones de Dios sean con él) nos advirtió que un ignominioso destino aguarda a quienes se expresen sin respeto. Él dijo: “Un hombre puede decir una palabra sin pensar acerca de sus implicancias, pero a causa de ella él puede ser sumergido en el fuego del Infierno más profundamente que la distancia que hay entre el oriente y el occidente”.

1. Committing sins and not feeling any guilt.
2. Having a hard heart and no desire to read the Quran.
3. Feeling too lazy to do good deeds, e.g. being late for salat
4. Neglecting the Sunnah.
5. Having mood swings, for instance being upset about petty things and bothered and irritated most of the time.
6. Not feeling anything when hearing verses from the Quran, for example when Allah warns us of punishments and His promise of glad tidings.
7. Finding difficulty in remembering Allah and making dhikr.
8. Not feeling bad when things are done against the Shariah.
9. Desiring status and wealth.
10. Being mean and miserly, i.e. not wanting to part with wealth.
11. Ordering others to do good deeds when not practising them ourselves.
12. Feeling pleased when things are not progressing for others.
13. Being concerned with whether something is haram or halal only; and not avoiding makroo (not recommended) things.

¡Jesucristo NO nació en diciembre!
Los cristianos creen que Jesucristo nació el 25 de diciembre. 9. You help others but you’re doing it to gain something from them and not doing those acts of kindness for the sake of Allāh’s Glory. (A leaking bucket)
10. You post reminders and have thousands of followers on facebook and instagram but you’re doing it for the fame, not to please Allah. (A leaking bucket)
Do not gather all your good deeds in a leaking bucket.

IN PRE-ISLAMIC ARABIA KILLING OF FEMALE INFANTS WAS VERY COMMON AND VERY OFTEN THE MOMENT A FEMALE WAS BORN SHE WAS BURIED ALIVE.
ISLAM NOT ONLY PROHIBITS FEMALE INFANTICIDE, BUT IT FORBIDS ALL TYPES OF INFANTICIDE, IRRESPECTIVE OF WHETHER THE INFANT IS A MALE OR FEMALE.
IT IS MENTIONED IN SURAH AL-ANAM CHAPTER 6, VERSE 151 (6:151).
“KILL NOT YOUR CHILDREN ON A PLEA OF WANT.
WE PROVIDE SUSTENANCE FOR YOU AND FOR THEM. COME NOT NEAR SHAMEFUL DEEDS, WHETHER OPEN OR SECRET.
TAKE NOT LIFE WHICH ALLAH HAS MADE SACRED.”
A SIMILAR GUIDANCE IS REPEATED IN SURAH AL-ISRA CHAPTER 17, VERSE 31 (17:31).
“KILL NOT YOUR CHILDREN FOR FEAR OF WANT: WE SHALL PROVIDE SUSTENANCE FOR THEM AS WELL AS FOR YOU. VERILY THE KILLING OF THEM IS A GREAT SIN.”
IN PRE-ISLAMIC ARABIA KILLING OF FEMALE INFANTS WAS VERY COMMON AND VERY OFTEN, THE MOMENT A FEMALE WAS BORN, SHE WAS BURIED ALIVE.
HOWEVER, AFTER THE SPREAD OF ISLAM IN ARABIA, AL HAMDULILLAH,
THIS EVIL PRACTICE HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR THE LAST 1,400 YEARS BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS YET PREVALENT IN INDIA.

IN A BBC DOCUMENTARY FILM TITLED “LET HER DIE” SHOWN IN THE PROGRAMME “ASSIGNMENTS”, THE STATISTICS OF FEMALE INFANTICIDE WAS GIVEN BY EMETIC BUCHANAN.
IT HAS TO BE A BRITISHER WHO CAME ALL THE WAY FROM BRITAIN TO GIVE US THE STATISTICS AND MAKE A DOCUMENTARY FILM IN A COUNTRY WHICH HAS THE MAXIMUM RATE OF FEMALE INFANTICIDE IN THE WORLD.
ACCORDING TO THE STATISTICS COMPILED BY THEM, EVERYDAY MORE THAN 3,000 FOETUSES ARE BEING ABORTED IN INDIA ON BEING IDENTIFIED THAT THEY ARE FEMALE.
IF YOU MULTIPLY THIS FIGURE WITH THE NUMBER OF DAYS IN A YEAR (365 DAYS) WE UNDERSTAND THAT MORE THAN ONE MILLION FEMALE FOETUSES ARE ABORTED EVERY YEAR IN INDIA.
IT IS PRACTISED MAXIMUM IN THE STATE OF TAMIL NADU AND RAJASTHAN. THERE ARE BIG BILL BOARDS AND ADVERTISEMENTS SAYING “INVEST RS.500/- AND SAVE RS.500,000,
SIGNIFYING THAT YOU DO TESTS LIKE AMINO SENTESIS OR ULTRA SONOGRAPHY WHICH COST ABOUT RS.500/- AND ON IDENTIFYING THE GENDER OF THE FOETUS IF IT IS A GIRL YOU CAN ALWAYS ABORT HER AND THUS SAVE RS.5,00,000/- WHICH IS USUALLY SPENT IN THE UPBRINGING OF A GIRL AND GIVING DOWRY IN HER MARRIAGE.
ACCORDING TO A REPORT OF THE TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL, OUT OF EVERY 10 FEMALE CHILDREN BORN, 4 ARE PUT TO DEATH.
FEMALE INFANTICIDE HAS BEEN PRESENT IN OUR COUNTRY FOR CENTURIES. NO WONDER THE FEMALE POPULATION OF INDIA IS LESS THAN THE MALE POPULATION.
ACCORDING TO THE 1901 CENSUS OF INDIA, THERE WERE 972 FEMALES FOR EVERY 1000 MALES.
ACCORDING TO THE 1981 CENSUS, THERE WERE 934 FEMALES FOR EVERY 1000 MALES IN INDIA
AND THE LATEST STATISTICS OF 1991 TELL US THAT FOR EVERY 1000 MALES THERE ARE 972 FEMALES IN INDIA.
ONE CAN REALISE FROM THESE CENSUS REPORTS THAT THE RATIO OF FEMALE POPULATION IS DECLINING EVERY YEAR.
EARLIER ONLY FEMALE INFANTICIDE WAS BEING RESORTED TO, BUT NOW WITH THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE AND MEDICINES TO SUIT THIS ACT, THERE HAS BEEN ADDED ANOTHER CRIME OF ABORTING FEMALE FETUSES.
IT IS NO WONDER, THEREFORE, THAT THE URBAN AREAS OF BIHAR AND GOA SHOWED 1054 AND 1091 FEMALES RESPECTIVELY FOR EVERY 1000 MALES AND ACCORDING TO 1991.TICALLY FALLEN TO 911.
ISLAM NOT ONLY PROHIBITS FEMALE INFANTICIDE BUT ALSO REBUKES THE THOUGHT OF REJOICING ON THE NEWS OF BIRTH OF A MALE CHILD AND NOT REJOICING ON THE NEWS OF THE BIRTH OF A FEMALE CHILD.
SURAH AL-NAHL (CHAPTER 16), VERSES 58 AND 59 (16:58-59)
“WHEN NEWS IS BROUGHT TO ONE OF THEM OF (THE BIRTH OF) A FEMALE (CHILD), HIS FACE DARKNESS, AND HE IS FILLED WITH INWARD GRIEF!
WITH SHAME DOES HE HIDE HIMSELF FROM HIS PEOPLE, BECAUSE OF THE BAD NEWS HE HAS HAD! SHALL HE RETAIN IT ON (SUFFERANCE) THE CHOICE THEY DECIDE ON?”
IN ISLAM THE GIRL CHILD IS ENTITLED TO SUPPORT, AND UPBRINGING AND GOOD TREATMENT.
ACCORDING TO AN AUTHENTIC HADITH RELATED IN AHMED, PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) SAID,
“ANYONE WHO BRINGS UP TWO DAUGHTERS PROPERLY THEY WILL BE VERY CLOSE TO ME ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT.”
ACCORDING TO ANOTHER HADITH WHOEVER BRINGS UP TWO DAUGHTERS PROPERLY AND TREATS THEM KINDLY AND JUSTLY SHALL ENTER PARADISE.
THERE SHOULD BE NO PARTIALITY IN BRINGING UP OF SONS AND DAUGHTERS.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) ALWAYS SPOKE ABOUT JUSTICE AND KINDNESS TOWARDS A CHILD WHETHER IT BE A DAUGHTER OR A SON.
ONCE A PERSON IN THE PRESENCE OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) KISSED HIS SON AND PUT HIM ON HIS LAP AND DID NOT DO THE SAME FOR HIS DAUGHTER WHO WAS WITH HIM.
THE PROPHET (PBUH) OBJECTED AND TOLD THE MAN THAT HE WAS BEING UNJUST AND THAT HE SHOULD HAVE ALSO KISSED HIS DAUGHTER AND PLACED HER ON THE OTHER LAP.
THE PROPHET (PBUH) NOT ONLY PREACHED ABOUT EQUAL JUSTICE TO SONS AND DAUGHTERS BUT ALSO PRACTISED IT HIMSELF.

THE MIRACLE OF WATER
In the following picture we will see how Allah be He exalted drives the water cycle, the Qur'an talked very precisely about these facts…
The Qur'an told us in a scientific way about all related facts to the water cycle and descending of rains. Let us look attentively at these holy verses which speak about every part of the water cycle.
1. The sun is the driver of the aquatic cycle, God says 
And we have made (therein) a shining lamp (sun).)(Sûrat An-Naba’-verse13). Sun spreads the necessary heat and light to evaporate water and to form winds.

2. Winds are the second driver of the aquatic cycle, God says And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then cause the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We give it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like].)(Sûrat A-Hijr- verse 22).

3. Water which descends from the clouds is stored in the ground for hundreds of years without being spoiled ,taking into consideration that anyone may store the water for only couple of days it will spoil; God says:( it is not you who are the owners of its stores) ( Sûrat A-Hijr- verse 22).
4. After evaporation of water it condenses in the sky in form of clouds, then winds fertilize the clouds, God says And we send the winds fertilizing) (Sûrat A-Hijr- verse 22).

5. The Qur'an told us about the high heavy clouds which are responsible for rains and ice, God says: (See you not that Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them; and He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, (or there are in the heaven mountains of hail from where He sends down hail), and strikes therewith whom He wills, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its (clouds) lightning nearly blinds the sight)(Sûrat An-Nûr-verse43)
6. The water" which descends" is stored inside the ground in form of sweet springs to enable life to continue, God says: (See you not that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs, and afterward thereby produces crops of different colors, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow; then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this is a Reminder for men of understanding.)(Sûrat Az-Zumar-verse21). If these crops are not transferred to the yellow to be dry and broken pieces and if it remained Green, the cycle of plant wouldn't be renewed and we wouldn't get benefit from those broken pieces which transfer to be oil over hundreds of yeas.
7. Scientists say that all of these operations are according to very organized and constant physical laws, God says: (And we sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure and we gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, we are Able to take it away.)(Sûrat Al-Mu’minûn-verse18). Look at the word "in due" which refers to discipline and arrangement.
8. The most important part in this cycle, what is happening at the area which is called the mouth (where rivers flow in seas), Qur'an says: (And it is He who has let free the two seas (kinds of water): this is palatable and sweet, and that is salt and bitter; and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.)(Sûrat Al-Furqân-verse 53) .Unless Rivers are flowing in seas, those seas would be drought. That what happened in the Aral Sea which was supplying by two rivers and because of a human interruption by stopping that supplying, the sea became empty.
9. Scientists say that mountains have a vital role in the descending of rains, forming the clouds and in water purification. God says: (And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains, and have given you to drink sweet water?)(Sûrat Al-Mursalât- verse 27).In this verse a clear link between the mountains and the sweet water.
These verses were descended 1400 year ago, with a precise description for the water cycle which was discovered 100 years ago! Isn't this a proof that the Qur'an is the book of Allah?
