Proof of the existence of Allaah!!! #SHARE
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of Allaah, the barber said: "I don't believe that Allaah exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that Allaah doesn't exist. Tell me, if Allaah exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If Allaah existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving an Allaah who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! Allaah, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.

Hadith of the Day:
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The first group (of people) to enter Jannah will be shining like the moon on a full-moon night. Then will come those who follow them who will be like the most shining planet in the sky. They will not stand in need of urinating or relieving of nature or of spitting or blowing their noses. Their combs will be of gold and their sweat will smell like musk; in their censers the aloes-wood will be used. Their wives will be large eyed maidens. All men will be alike in the form of their father 'Adam, sixty cubits tall."

Daily Hadith – 181
Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw expectoration in the direction of the Qibla of the mosque while he was leading the prayer, and scratched it off. After finishing the prayer, he said, "Whenever any of you is in prayer he should know that Allah is in front of him. So none should spit in front of him in the prayer."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book of Adhan (Call to Prayer), Hadith: 753]
Chapter: Is it permissible to one to look around in Salat (prayer) if something happens to one? Or can one look at something like expectoration in the direction of the Qiblah?

mary s purity
God’s plan will always manifest itself. Mary was being prepared for something extraordinary. Mary was loved by everyone. She was known for her wisdom, innocence and piety. She spent her time in prayer, contemplation and learning Divine scripture. Mary witnessed miracles such as the appearance of fruit which was out of season.

the science in the quran is inaccurate. Is this possible?

Abu Zakariya
Salam,
I am a Muslim living in Canada and was hoping you can answer a question for me. Recently I have started to have doubts about the religion and have tried to find the answers online. However, this search has only led to more doubt and confusion. I am finding information online that says the science in the quran is inaccurate. Is this possible?

Wasalam,
Science by its very definition does not, and cannot, provide absolute truth. Science is based on observations, and this is why its conclusions change over time, because new observations make scientists change their previous conclusions. Thus what is a scientific consensus and considered factual one day can quickly be discarded the next. In fact history is littered with such paradigm shifts, such as the change from a steady state universe to a Big Bang model, the change from Newtonian physics to Quantum physics, etc.
The Qur'an, by comparison, does represent absolute truth because it is from Al-Haqq, The Absolute Truth, The Reality.
Do you see why judging the Qur'an by the measure of science is nonsensical? The Qur'an can contradict science, because science can contradict itself. But the Qur'an can never contradict reality.
Sadness
ILoveAllaah.com
"Sadness is from shaytan."
"A believer should never get sad."
"Sadness is a sign of low iman."
"A believer should never get sad."
"Sadness is a sign of low iman."
I cannot tell you how much toxic statements like these ones, hurt and shame people when they are suffering from depression. It's a lot like seeing a person who's barely treading water, and throwing a brick in their face to "help".
Well, it doesn't.
But here is what I have learned about sadness and depression. And here is what I believe the religious community is doing tragically wrong in this department:
There is an absolutely *crucial* difference between sadness (a normal human emotion) and hopelessness/despair (which is debilitating).
A believer *does* get sad sometimes. Even Prophets felt sadness. Prophet Yaqoob (AS) cried until he went blind and complained of his *sadness* to Allah. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) experienced the year of sadness when he lost his beloved wife and uncle.
Sadness is part of being human and living a human experience. Iman (faith) is not an antidote against being human. Iman won't protect you from some times of sadness. But iman *will* give you tools to fight despair and hopelessness. A believer in pain acknowledges his/her grief (as Prophet Ayoub AS did). Resilience is not about denial or numbing emotion. But a believer even in pain never loses hope. No matter how dark it is right now. *That* is the power of iman. Prophet Ayoub's (AS) duaa begins with an acknowledgement of his pain. He's not pretending or numbing. But it ends with unshaken hope in God's mercy (see Quran 21:83).
It is so crucial to understand the difference between sadness and despair. Until we do, we will continue to cause so much damage in those already suffering and vulnerable.
My people, we need to give hope, not shame. Empathy, not judgement. We don't need someone to tell us it isn't really night right now, or blame us for the darkness. We only need someone to hold our hand and remind us that the sun will rise again tomorrow. And it does.
It really does.
It really does.
