The Qur’an is the book that was sent to the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s blessings and peace be upon him. 
This is the modern science recently discovered this scientific fact, but this scientific fact has been mentioned in the Qur’an fourteen centuries ago. This is a strong evidence  and signs for those who are thinking .

The Scientific fact 

The loss of the lands from the surroundings. 

The verses in Quran: 

 Surah "Raad: 41":
Do they not see that We come to the earth and reduce it from its surroundings… 

 Surah" al-Anbiya, 44":
… But now, do they not see that We are really coming to the earth and reducing it from around it?… 

The point of inimitability :
There are several aspects that explain the loss of land  from the  surroundings as the above verses told us : 

Protons, electrons, and alpha particles from the Sun are hurled at the Earth. The solar winds are powerful enough to cut the atmosphere apart from the Earth. However, the atmosphere would take 5 times as long to completely exhaust at the current rate of material loss for the Earth (at most 3 kilogramme per second). ¹ Because the magnetosphere layer in the Earth's atmosphere creates a strong magnetic field that shields the planet to some extent from these powerful erosions. In comparison to the enormous layer of air that surrounds the Earth, the loss of oxygen, helium, and hydrogen ions that are spread from the top of the ionosphere layer into the depths of space is quite tiny. ²

 NASA's spacecraft, scientists now have the first conclusive proof that energy explosions in the Sun cause oxygen and other molecules to diffuse into space from the outer layer of the Earth's atmosphere. On September 24–25, 1998, scientists witnessed the loss of material from the Earth's outer layers for the first time.³

At the moment, the ice sheets at the poles are melting and the seas' sea levels are rising. Additionally, more land is being covered by water. The earth's total surface area, or amount of land, diminishes when the sea shores are flooded. ⁴ 
The phrases "we are reducing it from its surroundings" and "we are reducing it from its surroundings" in the aforementioned verses could possibly be referring to the seashores being submerged in water. The decline in land on earth can be seen from a different angle in the aforementioned verses.

This is a significant amount... Previous satellite surveys and undersea observations have found that the Arctic region is trending warmer, and the probability of ice masses melting is increasing... Scientists at the Goddard Institute of Space Sciences, a NASA research center in Manhattan, 1950 and They compared undersea data from the 1960s with observations from the 1990s and proved that the ice sheet in the Arctic basin had thinned by 45%. Satellite images show that the size of the ice covering the region has decreased significantly in recent years._ " ⁵

According to  the verse, the shrinkage of the earth's circumference is a sign of another scientific fact that was revealed in the Qur'an. The Earth's geoid form, which results from its rotation around its own axis, has been widely acknowledged in recent centuries.

The equatorial circumference of the Earth grows as a result of the force of rotation, but it flattens out in the poles, according to research, while the equatorial circumference contracts near the equator. Moreover, this change is still occurring because the Earth's rotation is a continuous process. In fact, the phrase "nenkusu" from the 41st verse of Surah Raad, which is translated as "we are decreasing," also demonstrates that the action of decreasing is still in progress.

Celestial entities like the Earth have been moulded into spherical shapes by gravity. This form is not a whole sphere, though; it is slightly flattened at the poles and more inflated near the equator. The Earth's equatorial radius is 6,378.1 km, whereas its polar radius is 6,356.8 km, according to NASA data. ⁶  This variation amounts to a variation of about 0.3%.

Isaac Newton first put forth this idea for the form of the Earth in 1687. This occurrence, which the verses recount as having occurred around 1400 years ago, is another scientific marvel of the Quran.

Now important questions: 

What is the source of the knowledge
 contained in the Quran???

How can a human being who lived in a  desert environment, how can he gave an accurate explanation of this fact  while he is a human,  if He was not inspired by a book from the Lord of the universe 

How did Muhamed PBUH discover that from 1400 years ago?
