Sa’eed ibn Abu Al-Hasan reported: A man came to Ibn Abbas and he said, “Indeed, I am a man who makes pictures so give me a judgment regarding them.” Ibn Abbas said, “Come closer.” The man drew closer and he said again, “Come closer.” The man came close enough to touch his head and Ibn Abbas said, “I will tell you what I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: Every picture maker will be in Hellfire, for every image will have its soul breathed into it and will punish him with Hell.” Ibn Abbas added, “If you must do so, then make pictures of trees or whatever does not have a soul.”

It was narrated that Ma’qil ibn Yassaar said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him.”

Narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer, 486. Shaykh al-Albaani said in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 5045, that this hadeeth is saheeh.

1. Refrain from sleeping between fajr and Ishraq, Asr and Maghrib,
Maghrib and Isha.
2. Avoid sitting with smelly people.
3. Do not sleep between people who talk bad before sleeping.
4. Don’t eat and drink with your left hand.
5. Don’t eat the food that is taken out from your teeth.
6. Don’t break your knuckles.
... 7. Check your shoes before wearing it.
8. Don’t look at the sky while in salaath,
9. Don’t spit in the toilet ,
10. Don’t clean your teeth with charcoal,
11. Sit and wear your trousers,

At the insistence of the Roman emperor, Constantine, and for the purpose of establishing unity between Christianity and Pagan beliefs, Jesus was declared to be coequal, co-eternal, and con-substantial with God.

Constantine made Christianity the state religion of the Roman Empire. Before Constantin's rule the Christians suffered much persecution at the hands of Rome.

Of two thousand and forty eight (2048) bishops were invited to the council, the pagan emperor who converted to Christianity for political reason disqualified (1730) from having voice in deciding questions. Although the emperor did not decide the creed, he in fact influenced it indirectly by deciding who is to decide on the creed.

The result is the Nicene Creed which is an anathema to Unitarian belief championed by Arius. After a long debate, a vote was finally taken and it was with a majority show of hands (161 votes for and 157 votes against).

Nicea Decree:

Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet (SAW) saying, "The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one blowing the bellows. The owner of musk would either offer you some free of charge, or you would buy it from him, or you smell its pleasant fragrance; and as for the one who blows the bellows (i.e., the blacksmith), he either burns your clothes or you smell a repugnant smell".

Al-Sha'm is originally written and pronounced al-Sha'm and means "the North" with relation to the Hijaz, covering the lands of present-day Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan from the Euphrates to Sinai

The Prophet said: "Blessings to al-Shâm, blessings to al-Shâm, blessings to al-Shâm!" (yâ tûbâ li al-Shâm). They asked why and he replied: "Because the wings of the angels of the Merciful are lowered over it." (Narrated from Ibn `Umar by al-Bukhari, al-Tirmidhi (hasan sahîh gharîb), and Ahmad with three chains, one of which with the addition: "And in it [Najd] are nine tenths of all evil.")

The Prophet said: "It shall reach the point when you will all be joining [opposite] armies: one army in al-Shâm, one in Yemen, and one in Iraq." `Abd Allah ibn Hawala said: "Choose for me, O Messenger of Allah! in case I live to see that day." The Prophet said: "You must join al-Shâm, for it is the chosen land of Allah in His earth. In it shall the chosen ones among His servants have protection. Otherwise, go to Yemen but be prepared to drink from still water. For Allah has given me a guarantee concerning Shâm and its people." (In Ibn Hajar, Fath al-Bari (1959 ed. 13:48).)
