Duas are accepted when it is raining

We are now witnessing rainy weather in our country. There are many hadiths which mention that all supplications are accepted at the time of rain.

The following are some of these hadiths:

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Two kinds of du’a are not rejected: du’a at the time of the call for salaat, and du’a during rain.” [Abu Dawud 2533 and Al-Haakim 2535]

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “The gates of the skies are opened and du’a is accepted at four places: when the armies meet in the way of Allah, when rain falls, during the time of Iqaamah for salaat and when seeing the Ka’ba.” [At-Tabarani as quoted by As-Suyuti in Sihaam al-Isaaba 17]

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Seek the time of the acceptance of dua, when 2 armies meet to battle, during the time of Iqaamah for salaat and when it rains.” [Al-Bayhaqi in Ma’rifat as-Sunan wal Aathaar 5/186]

So, brothers and sisters do take maximum benefit from this raining weather to make dua for yourself, your families, relatives, friends and the entire Muslim Ummah.
