IsJesus The Son Of God?

Is Jesus The Son Of God?

‏31 أغسطس، 2013‏، الساعة ‏11:37 مساءً‏
IsJesus The Son Of God?

“Teabing Declared, ‘until that moment
in history, Jesus was viewed by his followers asa mortal
prophet … a great and powerful man, but a man
nonetheless, A mortal.’
‘Not the son of God?’
‘Right,’ Teabing Said. “ (Da Vinci Code page 315)

Lets see what the HolyQuran has to say.

The Quran says

Hebegetteth not, nor is He begotten;” (Quran 112:3)

Furthermorethe Holy Quran condemns this idea of God begetting a son in very strong terms.

Theysay: "((Allah)) Most Gracious has begotten a son!”

“Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!”

“At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to splitasunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,”

“That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious.”

For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah)Most Gracious that He should beget a son.” (Quran 19:88-92)

Because begetting is ananimal act and one cannot attribute such lowly functions to Almighty God who isthe creator of the universe. In the catechism of the church it says
“Jesus is the only begottenson of God, Begotten not Made”

Lets see what the Bible hasto say.

According to the Bible, Godhas got sons by tons.

It’s mentioned in the Bible:

“That the sons of God saw the daughters ofmen……” (Genesis 6:2)

“……when the sons of God came in unto thedaughters of men….”(Genesis 6:4)

“……Thus saith the LORD, Israelis my son, even my firstborn:” (Exodus 4:22)

“…....for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.” (Jeremiah 31:9)

“……..which was the son of Adam, which was the son ofGod.” (Luke 3:38)

“ I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said untome, Thou art my Son; this day
have I begotten thee.” (Psalms 2:7)

God also says to David

26 He will call out to me,'You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior.' 27I willalso appoint him my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of theearth. (Psalms 89:26-27)
So we can see that from theabove quoted verses that in the idiom of the Jews. Every Righteous person isthe son of God. But the common verse quoted to show the difference betweenJesus and other “sons” of God is

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begottenSon, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but haveeverlasting life.” (John 3:16)

King James Version goes tothe ancient manuscripts. But if we read the RSV (Revised Standard Version),revised by thirty-two scholars of the highest eminence backed by fiftycooperating denominations. They say:

“Yet the King James Version has grave defects.By the middle of the nineteenth century, the development of Biblical studiesand the discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which theKing James Version was based, made it manifest that these defects are so manyand so serious as to call for revision of the English translation” (PrefaceRSV)

And in the RSV thisblasphemous word “begotten” has been expunged as a fabrication, as aninterpolation. This is how the verse reads in RSV.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (RSV,John 3:16)

This word “begotten” is not there in the most ancientmanuscripts. Its not there even in some other versions like NIV and Good NewsBible.

“Son of God” only means a righteous servant of God, apeacemaker, the one who obeys God, the one who is led by the spirit of God. Whosays so? Jesus says so

“Blessedare the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” (Mathew5:9)
“9Blessedare the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. (Mathew 5:9,NIV)
 Paul testifies the same thing.
“Foras many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”(Romans 8:14)
See what John (the supposed author of the fourthgospel writes)
12Yetto all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave theright to become children of God— 13children born not ofnatural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.(John 1:12-13)

“Son of God” does not prove anything. It only means arighteous servant of God as Jesus (pbuh) and Paul both testify.
It is the term, which wasfrequently used in Semitic languages like Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic etc, butAlhumdulillah we have dropped this term in Arabic because of themisunderstanding that was created.

Even in Arabic, son ofsomething, father of something only meant metaphorical. Like there was acompanion of the Prophet (pbuh) by the name of “Abu Huraira”. “Abu Huraira”literally means father of the kitten. He was given the name because he lovedcats. It doesn’t mean he literally gave birth to a kitten.

If someone calls Jesusthe son of God in a sense of a righteous person, as a peacemaker then there isno problem. But he is not the begotten son of God as the Christian says.

How Allah SWT LOVES us

Whenever a person intends to do a good deed, it is recorded, but whenever he intends to commit evil, it is not written.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: Allah, the Great and Glorious, said: Whenever my bondsman intends to do good, but does not do it, I write one good act for him, but if he puts it into practice I wrote from ten to seven hundred good deeds in favour of him. When he intends to commit an evil, but does not actually do it, do not record it. But if he does it, I write only one evil.

Verily, the likeness of 'Īsā (Jesus) before Allâh is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was.

(This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt.

Then whoever disputes with you concerning him ['Īsā (Jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, [i.e. 'Īsā (Jesus)] being a slave of Allâh, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad SAW) "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allâh upon those who lie."

[The Qur'aan, Surah Ali-Imran (3): 59-61]

Got some tough trials and tribulations in your life? Feel like you are facing tests one after another? Feeling a bit overwhelmed with your life? Know that if you are able to exhibit patience in these circumstances for the sake of Allah, then good news for you! As we are told,

"And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient. Who, when disaster strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.'" [see 2:155-156]

(a reminder to myself first and foremost, in'sha'Allah)

Have you ever wondered what having Autism was like??

Have you ever wondered what having Autism was like??

Imagine...

Imagine if you had a bee buzzing around your head, and someone asked you to say the alphabet backwards.
Imagine if you were in the middle of a really loud rock concert
and someone wanted you to name all your Aunts and Uncles.
Imagine if you were wearing three pairs of gloves and someone told you to eat a box of raisins one by one.....
This is what things are like for me, a lot of the time.
I have Autism........

Your brain is like the inside of a computer, full of connections and wires.
With messages to your body whizzing around telling you what to do.
My brain looks the same as yours, except some connections work really well, and some work really differently.

And my brain wires can get crossed really easily.
So, if I’m doing something a bit funny looking...try not to laugh at me. It’s just one of my brain connections clearing itself out.

And if I tell you something over and over, just ask me to stop repeating. It’s just one of my wires plugged into the wrong socket.

And, if I freak out at some sound that you think is really normal… maybe help me get away from the sound. It’s just because my ears have their own unique volume control.

And, if you think I’m ignoring you, I’m not. I’m probably just focused on something else, like a tiny spider on the ceiling on the other side of the room.
Autism is a different way of seeing the world. And seeing things the way I see them is awesome, but it makes me really tired sometimes. So, I might not always understand what’s going on.

And, I might need time by myself to think things through. Or, I might crash or jump or swing for a while to straighten myself out. Don’t worry if I don’t always do things the way you do.
Try to imagine what it’s like inside my head, then you’ll see.
I’m not being rude.
I’m not being naughty.
I’m not sick.
I have Autism.......and I’m just being me.

Do you know ..... WHO IS CALL A " MUSLIM" (Arabic: مسلم) ?

‏‎Final Testament‎‏ من قبل ‏‏‎Koki Noor‎‏‏.
Do you know ..... WHO IS CALL A " MUSLIM" (Arabic: مسلم) ?

A Muslim, (Arabic: مسلم)

"Muslim" means one who submits to the will of God. The first principle of Islam is known as the Shahaadah (Testimony of Faith), and is as follows: "There is no one worthy of worship except Allaah (God) and Muhammad is the Final Apostle (Messenger) of God.”

In a broader sense, anyone who willingly submits to the will of God is a Muslim. Thus, all the prophets preceding Prophet Muhammad, , are considered Muslims.

One cannot judge Islam by looking at those individuals who have a Muslim name, but in their actions, they are not living or behaving as Muslims. Muslims are ordinary people like other humans; among them are the good and the bad. They are not infallible creatures and, therefore, make mistakes.

When we mention the characteristics of a Muslim, we do not assume that all Muslims have these characteristics, but only those who follow -- to the best of their abilities -- the teachings of Islam.

We can thus summarize the teachings of Islam about the Muslim character concisely in the following way:

A Muslim is truthful, not dishonest

He is humble, not arrogant

He is moderate, not an extremist

He is honest, not corrupt

He is reserved, not garrulous

He is soft-spoken, not boastful

He is loving and solicitous to others, not unmindful of them

He is considerate and compassionate, not harsh

He is polite and helpful, not insulting and disrespectful to people

He is generous and charitable, not selfish and miserly

He is refined and gentle in speech, not prone to swearing or cursing

He is cheerful and generous, not bitter and resentful

He is grateful for what he has, not ungrateful

He is cheerful and pleasant, not irritable and gloomy

He is chaste and pure, not lustful

He is alert, not absent-minded

He is dignified and decent, not graceless

He is sincere and straightforward, not hypocritical

He is optimistic and hopeful, not cynical or pessimistic

He is confident and deep in faith, not doubtful and wavering

He is spiritually oriented, not materialistic

He always has faith in God’s mercy, not losing heart or becoming desperate

He is diligent and vigilant, not negligent to his duties

He is thankful to God and constantly prays to Him, not forgetful of His innumerable blessings

The Muslim personality is balanced. He pays due attention to his body’s needs and his outward appearance, without letting it distract him from nurturing his inner characteristics, as befits man whom God has honored and made His angels prostrate to him, and subjugated for his benefit all that is in the heaven and earth. The Muslim is also concerned with that which will form sound intellectual development and ways of thinking, so that he understands the nature and essence of things. He does not forget that man is not only composed of body and mind, but he also possesses a soul and a spirit, and feels a longing for higher things that makes him rise above this materialistic life and ascend the heights of goodness, virtue and light. Therefore, he pays as much attention to his spiritual development as he does to his physical and intellectual development, in a precisely balanced fashion, which does not concentrate on one aspect to the disadvantage of others.

With his parents, he is an example of sincere filial piety, good treatment, infinite compassion, politeness and deep gratitude.

With his wife, he is an example of good and kind treatment, intelligent handling, deep understanding and proper fulfillment of his responsibilities and duties.

With his children, he is a parent who understands his great responsibility towards them. Although he floods them with love and compassion, he pays attention to things that may affect their Islamic upbringing.

With his relatives, he maintains the ties of kinship and knows his duties toward them. He understands the high status given to relatives in Islam, which makes him remain in touch with them regardless of the circumstances.

With his neighbors, the true Muslim is an example of good treatment and consideration of others’ feelings and sensitivities. He puts up with mistreatment and turns a blind eye to his neighbor’s faults while avoiding committing any such errors himself. He always adopts the Islamic attitude, whereby treating neighbors well was made a basic principle of Islam. His relationship with his brothers and friends is the best and purest of relationships, for it is based on love for the sake of God. This pure, sincere, brotherly love derives its purity from the guidance of the Quran and Sunnah (traditions and approved actions of Prophet Muhammad, ) that became a unique system in the history of human relations.

In his social relationships with all people, he is well mannered, civil and noble, characterized by the attitudes which Islam encourages. Good behavior which is taught in the Quran and Sunnah, has been made a religious duty in Islam, for which man will be brought to account.

This is the clear, beautiful picture of the Muslim whose personality has been formed by Islam and whose heart, mind and soul are filled with its divine light.

The development of a society is not measured solely in terms of its scientific achievements and material inventions. There is another, more important standard by which a society is measured. That is the prevalence of human values such as love, empathy, altruism, sacrifice, uprightness and purity of thought, behavior and dealings with others.

If individuals are the basis of a society, then rightly guided societies pay attention to human development and enhance the positive, constructive aspects while seeking to eliminate evil, destructive motives, so that the individual will become a model citizen. It is from groups of such model citizens that clean, civil, strong, healthy, righteous societies are formed.

The Reality of the Straight Path

‏‎Final Testament‎‏ من قبل ‏‏‎Koki Noor‎‏‏.
The Reality of the Straight Path

We will expound upon the Straight Path in a succinct manner for the people have explained it in various ways all of them revolving around one essential fact.

The Straight Path is the path of Allah which He has put in place to lead mankind to Him; there is no path to Him other than this one which He appointed upon the tongues of His Messengers. It is to single Him out alone for worship and to single out His Messengers alone for obedience.

Therefore none should commit shirk in His worship just as none should commit shirk in the following of His Messenger (SAW); one should purify his tawhid and purify his following of the Messenger (SAW), this is the full import of the testification that, 'None has the right to be worshiped save Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.'

All of the various explanations given to the Straight Path fall under these two principles. You must love Him with all your heart, you must try to please Him to the utmost of your ability; there should not be any area of your heart except that it is overflowing with love of Him and you should have no desire except to please Him. The first point is realized through actualizing, 'None has the right to be worshiped save Allah' and the second point is realized through actualizing, 'Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.'

This is guidance and the religion of truth, this is knowing the truth and acting upon it, this in turn is knowing what He sent His Messenger with and living by it. All definitions revolve around this essential concept. Sahl ibn `Abdullah said, 'Stick to the narrations and Sunnah for I fear that soon will come a time that when the Prophet (SAW) and the importance of following him in everything is mentioned, the people would censure the person who says this, cause others to flee from him, disassociate themselves from him, humiliate him and disgrace him.[1]

Tirmidhi #76 records on the authority of Nawwas ibn Sam`an that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,

Allah has set forth the following as a parable: there is a road that leads straight to the destination. On either side of the road there is a wall in which there are open doors with curtains hanging on them. From the remote end of the road, a voice calls, 'Proceed straight and do not turn aside.' Whenever someone intends to lift a curtain from the door another voice calls from above, 'Beware! Do not lift the curtain, otherwise you will be lured inside.'

The Prophet (SAW) explained the parable by saying that the straight path is Islam, the walls are the limits imposed by Allah, the open doors are the things that he has prohibited, the voice which calls from the end of the road is the Qur´an and the voice which calls from above is Allah's monitor in the heart of every believer.

God Bless You All & May Almighty God grant Paradise for all of us !
