Daily Hadith – 39

عن أبي موسیٰ قال جائ رجل إلی النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم فقال يا رسول الله ما القتال في سبيل الله فإن أحدنا يقاتل غضبا ويقاتل حمية فرفع إليه رأسه قال وما رفع إليه رأسه إلا أنه کان قائما فقال من قاتل لتکون کلمة الله هي العليا فهو في سبيل الله

Narrated Abu Musa: A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked, “O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! What kind of fighting is in Allah’s cause? (I ask this), for some of us fight because of being enraged and angry and some for the sake of his pride and haughtiness.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) raised his head (as the questioner was standing) and said, “He who fights so that Allah’s Word (Islam, i.e. Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism) should be superior, then he fights in Allah’s cause.”

ابوموسی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور اس نے کہا یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ، اللہ کی راہ میں لڑنے کی کیا صورت ہے؟ اس لئے کہ کوئی ہم میں سے غصہ کے سبب لڑتا ہے، کوئی حمیت کے سبب سے جنگ کرتا ہے، پس آپ نے اپنا سر مبارک اس کی طرف اٹھایا اور آپ نے سر اسی سبب سے اٹھایا کہ وہ کھڑا ہوا تھا، پھر آپ نے فرمایا جو شخص اس لئے لڑے کہ اللہ کا کلمہ بلند ہوجائے تو وہ اللہ کی راہ میں (لڑنا) ہے۔

سمعت أنسا يقول کان النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم إذا دخل الخلائ قال اللهم إني أعوذ بک من الخبث والخبائث

Narrated Anas: Whenever the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to answer the call of nature, he used to say: “Allah-umma inni a’udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba’ith [i.e. O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil deeds and evil spirits)].”

انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بیت الخلاء میں داخل ہوتے تو یہ کہتے اللھم انی اعوذبک من الخبث والخبائث (اے اللہ میں ناپاک چیزوں اور ناپا کیوں سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں)۔
